Recycling Drop-Off Center: what do users think?
J T: Unorganized. Workers are slow.
Mohamed Mohamed: Was pretty empty
kiwi tang: It’s a great facility BUT they ALWAYS CLOSED PLEASE UPDATE THE HOURS.PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
Towns Jones: Long wait time
Virginia Long: Takes most stuff. There are better places to recycle some items including glass bottles (Ripple Glass), egg cartons (locals who sell eggs at farmers markets), cat litter tubs (bird lovers keep seed in them). Hazardous waste drop-off around the corner
Matthew Kube: When they are open it's a great facility. However, 3 times this year they have not been open when the hours clearly say they are. Please update hours so I and everyone else who want to recycle aren't wasting their time.
robert wilson: Went on a Saturday during business hours and it was closed
Suzanne Wentley: Not open at 12:10 pm on a Wednesday
Madeline Cochran: Might need to update their hours. We drove over 20 minutes to get here and they were closed - despite the hours on maps saying that they’re open 9-5 on Saturdays.
Joe Jakes: Just doing my share to help the planet
Joe McLain: Easily accessible, bins are well marked and plenty of space to park.
Ezriyah SCOTT: Fast, easy to understand what to do and where to put your items. Parking is convenient and plenty of space. No long lines
Mark Cremer: Got me there with no problems
Dennis Cobb: I showed up on Thursday, July 29 at around 4 p.m. with a large quantity of cardboard, well within the “open” hours that are advertised, only to find the place closed and the gate padlocked. It was a waste of my time, pickup rental, and effort.
Michael Shelton: Pulled in, unloaded an entire pickup full of cardboard boxes that were already broken down and they even helped me unload. Great day for me.
John Sheridan: Good location next to restore and hazardous waste disposal
Mark Wilson: Very helpful people
Jerryn Johnston: Easy to park and drop off in clearly marked bins.
Denise Thompson: Lots of containers clearly marked what goes in each. Friendly and helpful staff.
Melissa Chavez: They have helpful staff and you can recycle bulk items.
Monzer the Gamer: Do you get money

Recycling Drop-Off Center: what do users think?
Um Jennah M: This is a very nice place to take my recycling. The man who I see there all the time is very helpful about where to put certain items. Thank you!
diane Gabert: I am so grateful for the volunteers. Thank you!!
Terry Rayburn: good
Josh Hendren: Clean, no smell, seems efficient. Surprisingly popular at 2 on a Thursday.
William Blue: It was a nice recycling center! Well organized! I will be going there from now on!
G stone: I'm happy this place is around love to recycle and at least do my part for the environment.
Liz Becker: Love this recycling center. Easy drop and go! And the volunteers are friendly
LaGayle Heflin: Love the guy who runs this. He is educational amd makes me want to keep doing my part
Les Bro: There are very clear instructions on what goes where. The staff always has the appropriate knowledge to answer my questions. They do not accept batteries.
Angela Dudley: It's free to drop off. Just bring sorted recyclables and place in the correct bins. It can get busy though, so be prepared to possibly wait in line (in your car) if it's a weekend. But then then, the line moves quickly.
Anthony Moore: No money
Emily Fasbender: I’m so glad we have a place like this in our community! The bins are visibly labeled, and the volunteers are always a great help. The location right off the highways is so convenient too. I’d recommend trying to have your recyclables separated before coming for a quick drop off.
kc foodfunfamily: It's a great facility if you can find something that they will take. Their web site says they take plastics #1-7. This actually means they take milk jugs and water bottles. Find another solution for all your other plastics and save the frustration of taking your recyclables for a car ride there and back home.
Andrew Sack: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Adell Mears: It is a very nice place to recycle. The people there are always friendly and helpful.
Ken Hayes: Park and ride. Excellent location
Evy Daniell: They take almost everything here...tin, aluminum, cardboard, glass, plastic and paperboard. Helpful volunteers!
Luke E: Gotta pay close attention to the hours and days they are open, but no complaints with how easy it is to sort and drop off my extra recycling and glass.
Kerri Beck: Great volunteers always so friendly and helpful with my questions!
Ken Jenkins: Easy to get to from I-435 east or I-49 south. Take Red Bridge Rd exit and the Recycle Center is your first right off Red Bridge Rd. Plenty of space to pull in, lots of recycling dumpsters too. Friendly staff!
Raymont` White: Clean and safe.

National Fiber Supply Co: what do users think?
Edward Njeri: The loaders in this facility are just banging the forklifts on the trailer causing damages which they don’t incur; if your guys don’t wanna work or aren’t happy with their job or are bothered by external or internal factors don’t get your frustration on people’s investments. Very bad place to getting loaded .
Jer3 Jerry: Nice people. Just call the phone number and check in. I don’t know if I would say super fast though. Didn’t like backing in and blocking 4 lanes of traffic either.
Damon Erving (Damon): Easy check in on the phone. The phone number is posted on the door. Limited staging area but I got a dock right away.
Terry Crow: Dropped and hooked. Employees were friendly and helpful.
Don Mcdowell: Really good people to work with in-and-out loaded
Kevin Hall: Very nice people. Fast at unloading.
lil bill17: Small place but fast load times , have to back into loading docks from road but traffic dosen't seem to bad in the area
K Owens: Drp&Hk 53 dry van. Office is SE corner of building. Will have to back into docks from street, light traffic. Staff friendly and helpful.
John Barbarisi: Fast loading
ROSELYN ROSELYN: Very fast James unloaded me in 15 mins
Sam: Quick live unload.limited space.
Pinder Dhaliwal: Really quick to load , but u need to back in from street

IP South: what do users think?
Marcus Edwards: It was slow took almost 2 hrs to get loaded and office personal was ok. Took almost as long to get the paperwork as it did for them to actually load it. They have you turn in your key and wait in the office until your loaded and then give you the paperwork. It's a real tight spot to get out off but not hard to back into. There is enough room to pull back out away from the exit and get turned around if you slide your tandems before hand.
Charlie Karr: I applied for a job here in April of 2022, and ended up passing on the offer..6 months later the same job came up, and I really didn't even have to interview! I like my job, the people I work with, and the wages with benefits round it out.
David Woodson: Tolk them almost 2 hours to load the truck in the one door they are using for loading and unloading don't come here
Justin Rix: You’re going to wait to get unloaded. A long while. They are in no hurry, with no available restroom, and not a care in the world. It’s not even as though it’s busy. One truck before me that sat and waited for three hours, myself, and that’s it. Hour number four and still haven’t been touched.
Francisco Gonzalez: Saturday morning loader, improperly loaded paper rolls on my trailer. The first half was to far in the nose, and the second half didn't place the anti slide mats under the rolls. Arrived at delivery with drives overloaded.
Jay: Four trucks here but it's taking each truck about an hour to get unloaded, maybe short staffed.
Dusty Dahlgren: Only truck here!!!! 6 hours to be unloaded, had to wait for the second shift to come in, do not know why
Carlos Scroggins: Oh I had a ball! Worked 12 hours in 100+ degrees. Came home soaked...underwear and all! Fun, Fun, Fun 🙄
millmill87: Everyone was friendly, and it was an easy place to find. It took approximately 30 minutes to an hour for unloading per truck. Below I took pictures going in order of where you'll need to go to check-in and which dock you'll have to pull up to if you're delivering a giant roll of paper
windy bag: Facility is open 24/5. Always in and out from 15 minutes to an hour.
MV Carrier: 12 minutes unloading time. Good job
Danielle R: Not a bad unload at all. I been here a few times first time no wait. The second time a long wait but it was plenty of trucks so I understand. The unload really only takes like 15 minutes. It’s a little crowded back by the dock but other than that ok.

Missouri Organic Recycling: what do users think?
Scott Vantine: After tossing around the idea of having 20 cu ft of mulch delivered, and then spending hours to haul it around and spread it, I called and spoke with Nathan. He helped me figure out exactly what I needed and had it delivered/blown in (excellent install by Joshua) in less than a couple of hours. This is a no brainer! Great service, great price, and looks fantastic!
Ken B: The lady at the kck location on Alma St. is always helpful and friendly. If you go there & pay in cash, bring $5s & $10s.
Mark (aka Pappy): Great place to get compost, potting soil, garden soil and mulch! Reasonably priced (though there are a few dollars surcharge for credit card purchases and the plastic bags). Buying in bulk is much more economical but buying by the bag makes it easier to make smaller purchases to take home in the car.
Lisa Riecke: Jim and Josh put in mulch in our back yard. Great job, looks wonderful. Excellent service from scheduling onward. Would highly recommend!
sjstsarah: Our first time visiting here was Saturday and I felt like we found a real gem. There were tons of people dropping off yard waste/brush, which I discovered is a free (Saturday only) offer to NKC residents- gotta love that. The pricing is great, less than $4 for a 40lb bag of garden soil?! We needed garden soil and mulch by the truck load and they were so quick and friendly despite the busyness. We’ve been moving this stuff all around our yard this weekend and I’m just super happy with the quality. So glad to have this place close for future landscape/gardening projects.
Tina Garcia: What a great experience with this company! From the estimate to delivery has been exceptional!! Nathan gave me tips to prepare the compost soil in order to have a plentiful garden. The delivery was exactly when I was told it would be, & the garden blend looks beautiful! Thanks to all of you for saving me the hard work of hauling & placing the soil just where I needed it. I highly recommend these guys! Happy gardening!
Mary Chung: After last year's drought, our house was having settling issues, and after consulting with several foundation repair companies and doing some online research, one of the first and immediate items we wanted to do was correct the grading around the house and get the water to flow away rather than into the foundation. After considering quotes from foundation companies and the price per cubic foot bag of top soil from Home Depot/Lowe's, it was the absolute best choice (both economically and practically) to have Missouri Organics both deliver and install the top soil around the house. Our house ended up needing 7 cubic yards, and with each cubic yard equaling 27 cubic feet, we would have had to purchase 27x7=189 bags of top soil from the store and drag them around the house if we were to do it ourselves. We also considered having Missouri Organics just deliver the pile onto the driveway and to install it ourselves, but am so glad that we went with their installation service. It was totally worth it. Shoveling through a mountain of top soil sitting on the driveway and wheelbarrowing it around the house would have been an extremely difficult task for us to do on our own. Jim, the professional installer, who has the right equipment, as well as 20+ years of experience, did it all in about an hour. He is an expert in his field and did an excellent job. He arrived on time, listened to what we needed done, worked around all our tulips carefully, and cleaned up afterwards. He was a pleasure to work with!Just to clarify, the installation service offered by Missouri Organics is just to get the soil down where you need it. It does not include grading it. However, Jim is so good at what he does, it looks graded when he's done! Of course there is some handwork left to be done after he's through to "shape" it more precisely, but not really much at all.I only wish that we could have had someone like him tell us how much top soil to order from the beginning. We ended up having to schedule a 2nd delivery since we severely under-estimated in our calculations. At least he was able to tell us how much we needed for the second delivery, which was very helpful. When you call for Installation Service, Nathan is the one who provides the quotes, answers any questions you may have, and schedules the day for the installation. Then, the day before, he will call again with the time that the installer will arrive. We were very grateful for Nathan's patience on the phone in helping us out with our questions on the front end as this was the first time we had top soil delivered or installed. The entire experience was smoother and easier than we first imagined. If we ever need more top soil or even mulch/compost/garden soil in the future, we will be turning to Missouri Organics. And we would gladly recommend them to anyone who asks. Thank you, Jim and Nathan, for making this possible!
Don Strada: I’ve been gardening for over forty years, the top soil and garden soil I have gotten from Missouri Organics is the best quality I’ve ever had. Excellent company with excellent service.
Derek Burhop: I got a job at this company second day working there a guy try to fight me for no reason working at the power washing plant dealing with rotten food got transferred to bag plant manager name, Joe very rude. Talk to you anyway he wants to you plays favorites. Use me as the bottom of his jokes singled me out told me I could not use the restroom on site No more told me I couldn’t drink water without asking permission and I will never work for this company or buy any product from them and I complain to HR and it seem like it did no good they was more for the company and I was robbed by two of their employees why I was working there
Frank Thomas: Missouri compost delivered and sprayed 7 yards of compost this spring in my flower bed, it was bettered than I expected. Great job. Thank you
Jeff Bowder: Easy to work with. Got the job done quickly. Jim and Josh did a great job on the installation.
Kevin Q: Its a place to dump but last year I paid 50 go dump and this year I'm paying 80 I'll ve looking directly another place since you turn around and mulch the wood any way I don't understand why they are so high on prices
Robert Crossley: “OMRI” listed Nature Wise Select compost is full of plastic pieces of all type! I know we live in a plastic world nowadays but this is unacceptable for an OMRI Listed product. Shame on me for not making my own!
Deanna Winders: We purchased over $600 worth of their raised bed soil this year for new beds. Our old beds are growing great, but the beds with the new soil won’t grow anything. The soil is dry and won’t hold any moisture. It has a lot of grass and weeds in it. There is also a LOT of trash debris in it - bottle caps, pieces of shingles, nylon rope fibers. I called MOR to ask for suggestions about the trouble I’m having with the soil and was told “it was probably mixed wrong, it happens sometimes.” I’m not a beginner gardener and I’ve never had soil so bad. It’s disappointing that not only is the product bad, they don’t seem to have any customer service. At this point, sadly, I would not recommend this company.
Mason McCurdy: Great pricing for dumping brush and grass clippings. Takes credit/debit cards. Pretty easy to get in and out. Ground is a little rough getting around there, but that is to be expected.
Jennifer Wood: Ordered 4 yards of top soil, wound up needing 8 yards and they were able to come out much sooner than I feared to finish the job. Now my backyard will look fantastic this summer and having them blow the soil where it was needed saved us a ton of time. Would absolutely recommend them for any soil needs you may have. Friendly, professional, and above all worth the money!
Lela Jackson: Never heard from them. My neighbor recommended them but they had over 17 delivered. I only wanted a little over their minimum delivery of 3 so I guess money-wise they chose more profitable customers. I thought at least I’d be given an email, text or a call but got no response at all. I am age 70 and feel my health issues are such I thought it wiser to have mulch delivered. I was hoping to start with a smaller estimate of what I might need but perhaps my order was too small. UPDATE: I need to update my review of their service. Abby at Missouri Organic reached out to me and apologized for having missed my order request. She explained she could not see it in their system so their must’ve been a glitch. These thing do happen! She arranged for me to get my mulch delivered the next day. I am pleased with the quality of the mulch and believe it is a better value to get it in bulk as opposed to bags. In addition, the delivery driver was very helpful and professional in placing the mulch where I needed it next to my home. Overall a very good experience that I will use again.
James Billingsley: Great prices on dropping off limbs, etc. Amazing prices on loads of sand and dirt!
Tow Mater Bloodworth: Easy to deal with the lady at the window was kind
Josiah Baker: Got some 5 yards of the composted forest product and 8 bags of topsoil. It filled my two sheet-metal raised beds and then some. I added some inoculants and mixed in the topsoil into the top layer with some lime. Plants seem to be happy. I'll keep an eye out for nitrogen deficiency. The forest product is practically a sponge, so the drainage is excellent. With any luck the inoculants will be happy and helpful. The enriched topsoil contains plenty of sand, you can tell by how it crumbles. It's good and loose with an acceptable amount of clay. The blend I made on top should foster healthy plant nutrition and the media below should house some happy mycorrhizae and bacteria. It's my raised bed mix on a budget. I was told it was impossible, but that just felt like a challenge. We shall see.
Tayna Bradford: This is my second year using Missouri Organic for mulch and compost. I also used their installation services. Having them blow the products exactly where you want them and cleaning everything up afterwards is worth every cent! The difference their green frontier compost has made in our yard in just one year has been UNBELIEVABLE. We've struggled with growing grass since we moved here 20 years ago but regardless what product we used or how much we watered we always had the worst lawn in the neighborhood. Now our yard looks like a golf course and no that is not an exaggeration. Can't recommend this company enough - thx MO!!!

joe pace: UMKC students had no sportsmanship during basketball game very rude throughout whole game.
Joseph Gilligan: Yes Recycle station is in a good spot and accessible to all but at some point a recycle container was added for cardboard boxes… Maybe there was an issue with people throwing their boxes in with the glass? But no one picks up the recycle cardboard.

North Kansas City Iron & Metal, LLC: what do users think?
Kenny McGaugh: Very nice staff, really helps you out did not have to wait long.
Ryan Powell: Great customer experience!! I was greeted curbside as soon as I arrived with instructions on how to proceed. They were ready with carts and helped unload quickly. Extra thanks to Bill L. who was super helpful !! Highly recommend doing business here!!
Lone bowhunter: I like this scrap yard. But unfortunately due to low prices I have to give one star. Some non ferrous prices might be competitive but ferrous is usually really low. Advantage metal always pays more for basically everything
Bayron Leones: Bonito 😍
Troy Copa: Stopped into this scrap yard because of how close to my job it was. I was impressed by the service and the price I got for my metals. Will definitely be back. Thank you. You're friendly and helpful service is refreshing and appreciated.
J Patrick Graves: Great place, good price for my cans. Remembers me when I come in.
Kevin Shaw: Good service and friendly, helpful employees.
Addison Williams: Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone, especially those in the northland
Mr. Rogers Tree Service LLC.: I would of given 5 stars but I got a nail in my tire 😫
Chow Main61: They were very good very organized
ruberoz27: Recycled my metal here today and it was an easy and good exchange. A worker greeted me when I arrived and helped unload my items. An easy process and I would come back again.
Uncle Robb: Top dollar for metal to recycle in KC
yvonne weaver: Took #1 copper in, clean and bright. They called it #2 copper and ripped me off a couple hundred. Will never go to them again. They wouldn't even discuss this with me. Had my spouse take it while I was at work. Very disappointed
Shawn Clutts: Very nice people. Very efficient at what they do.
Sharon P Martin: Always friendly and courteous. Recycles my aluminum cat food cans and soda cans. Funds help with my small cat sanctuary expenses.
Ralfy L.: There's a reason why the scale is facing them. Two trucks, 1 clearly has more than the other yet both "somehow" weighed the same.. sure.
CJ and Christi Fulk: Went here first time today to recycle some tin and aluminum cans from my home. The service I received was friendly and welcoming. They did not make me feel like I was wasting their time with my 3 bags of sorted cans. THANK YOU!!!

Michael Magazu: Good way to get a little extra cash but they're not paying much for scrap lately
