Brigid Elbert: Booked an appointment for a 30 minute back, neck, and shoulders session this morning and got an opening time spot right away. This was the first time I’ve ever gotten a professional massage and I was directed very kindly and not meant to felt silly about a lack of knowledge to the practice. To preface, I have bad anxiety that doesn’t always allow me to relax very well, and I had been sore from my mattress lately. Angela led me through everything and I was able to leave my clothes on in the communal massage space with a towel still over me. She checked if the pressure applied was OK every time she moved to a new part of my body which I really appreciated as I am not good at telling people otherwise. The room was dark but not hard to see in, and there was really lovely Zen Buddhist traditional flute music. Everything seemed clean and nice and the lotion used wasn’t irritating to the nose or skin. It didn’t feel like 30 minutes, either, because while I was curious a couple times as to when the session would end, I realized I was so relaxed that my anxiety-wired brain didn’t care as much as I normally would about time running out and I wasn’t feeling any disappointment when the session concluded. Just pretty satisfied all around! I’m not anti-medication, but that feeling was better than Zoloft. Lol. Definitely worth the price and everyone there seemed very kind and relaxed. The next time I’m feeling knots, I’ll be booking a longer session for sure!

Shanel Vaughans: Very disappointed, I had gifted my mom a massage here a couple of months ago and she loved it so I decided to do it on my birthday 5/11. The young lady that gave me the massage was the young lady that worked the "front desk" also during my massage she got up at least 5 times to check in and check out customers at one point I was tapping my fingers during the massage because at this point it was her third time getting up and she apologized and offered me some additional time but at that point I was pretty much over it She actually ended up having to get up to assist two more times. She did apologize but I feel like I should have most definitely been compensated with maybe another massage on a different day by someone else or even having something taken off of a massage that cost me $80 It was so not worth it. Fast forward to today 5/13 My mother was gifted from her kids a massage here for Mother's Day due to her rav reviews from her last one. A couple of hours passed by and I had not heard from my mom I called her to see how it was She literally experienced the same thing She got the young lady who works the front desk and answer the phone. My mother said last time a man massaged her and it was wonderful No interruptions and she actually felt relaxed. I do not ever plan on going back here but just the word advice for those who plan on going DO NOT let the lady who runs the front desk do your massage there will be many interruptions and possibly little to no real relief and massage.

tiffany anderson: Watch out for the front desk lady!!! She tried to overcharge me $25. This is my second massage here. Obviously, the first one was great, so I came back. This time I called ahead and asked for a deep tissue massage since it is on their menu at the front desk. She said "Okay come in." When I got there, she said, "We can do deep pressure regular Thai massage and spend more time on your back, instead of feet." I agreed to that. And when I talked to the other lady who was to give me the massage, she said, "I am going to do regular Thai massage and apply more pressure to help your back." I said, "well I wanted a deep tissue, but I guess that's not available, so that is fine." She said."I don't do deep tissue, but there's a girl Tiffany who does." We agreed to just do the regular Thai massage, which is normally $75 for 60 min. It was a good massage, same as last time. When I was checking out, front desk lady said, "Okay that will be $100. I said, "but that was not a deep tissue." She said, "I know, but we don't do deep tissue, but it was deep pressure." I said "that was a regular Thai massage, regardless of pressure." So she said "okay, then $75." She thought I was stupid and wanted to see if she could get by with charging me an extra $25! Well, now i won't go back ever. Disappointed. That was a dishonest thing to do.

I was also able to schedule a same day appointment, which was awesome. It’s been 2 weeks and my feet still feel very light!I will be returning for future sessions, thanks again Angela!
nicketa smith: I got the 60-minute Thai massage. It's different from the Swedish massage that uses kneading type massaging. With Thai massage, pressure is applied to your body. I enjoyed this very much. They also took care to create a quiet and serene environs.

Laura helped me with a lot of tension. they have a style of massages that I've not had before, I really like it, I told my wife it was like doing yoga without any of the work; they do a lot of moving arms and legs around to stretch out muscles surrounding joints. also interesting is that the room is entirely open, i.e. the massages take place in an open room, I liked that a lot too, makes everything a bit less awkward.

I went to the actual appointment and the massage was subpar... nonetheless, when it was over I chose to leave a tip (in spite of the fact that I wasn't completely satisfied) and that's when it happened! The lady behind the desk "pretended" that she couldn't understand the amount that I clearly stated and she overcharged my card! I repeated that there was a mistake and after approximately 5-10 minutes of repeating the same thing and not getting anywhere...I just told them to keep it if they needed the money that badly....long story short....I will not be returning!

Bridget Ley: I love getting massage here but am uncertain about when the town center location will be open for business again. I’ve called a few times over the past 2+ months and am told they are closed for repairs, and each time they say they will be open in 2 weeks. When will it REALLY be open again?
Carmen: Tonight I went to Tao Reflexology for a foot massage. My friend gave me a gift card for my birthday. She purchased the 30 minutes massage for $20 (before their price increase). Now 30 minutes is $25.I gave the cashier my $20 gift card and a tip for the woman. He pointed to his price chart which showed the price increase and said I had to give him the additional $5. So basically he wasn’t going to honor the $20 gift card for the service. I had never been there before and I thought he could have handled it better. Poor Customer Service!

loreen nguyen: My girlfriends and I were getting together and decided to have a 90 minute massage. I told the Manager that I wanted somebody with very strong hands and can give me a good massage. She said OK and so she gave me this lady with soft hands. I told her three times to please do it harder and she couldn’t understand me. I had to get up and leave because it felt like more tickling then a massage. I often go get massage by these reflexology place and this is the first time that I ever had to walk out and couldn’t take it!!! The Manager tried to ask me if I wanted to switch with one of the guy that does massage but they were working on my friend and I didn’t want to have to give the bad massage lady to my friend. Very bad experience I don’t know if I’m willing to give them a try again with someone else. I felt the manager was not very pleasant to deal with as well!

Today I experienced one of those and probably would have just let it go except I honestly believe the man who did my massage had no real certification or professional training to be doing massages. Actually I'm not even sure they have to be licensed at the reflexology places? He bounced me around so much just by pushing on my body so my head was bopping up and down when I was on my stomach, which was really weird. It literally gave me a headache. He really never massaged any actual muscles in my back or feet. I've seen the manager say in other reviews to indicate whether you want more pressure or less pressure, etc. but in this case I would just say somebody who knows HOW to do a massage. Because there are good therapists there I'll probably go back but if I get another one like this who is just all around horrible and it doesn't improve by 5 minutes into my session I'm going to ask for somebody different. Not only do I not enjoy wasting my money or time but I fear somebody like this could actually hurt you. This is the second time this has happened here - the last time was over a year ago, but both times weren't just a bad service or me being dissatisfied, they represented someone who had no idea what they were doing. My neck is sore and I need an adjustment / massage to recover from this poor service received today.

Laura Shipley: I've been a customer for years, my last experience was very disappointing. The gentleman that worked on me rubbed my feet and shoulders so violently my body rocked to and fro. They've started something where they snap your toes and snap your fingers it's very uncomfortable and I can't imagine what it accomplishes. He did not do the full hour either and belched loudly most of the time. Honestly it's expensive enough and the quality is not very good the last two times, I think that will be the last time I go. I asked very nicely to get a receipt when I was done and she absolutely refused the person at the front desk is usually fairly rude. Not very good customer service anymore. I also get very frustrated when they tell me how much to tip.
Kim W: First and last time. The therapist belched the entire appt and I was there an hour! He did a really good job, but burping under your mask the entire hour was so disgusting. On the way out, when it was time to tip, the receptionist told me I couldn’t tip the amount that I wanted to it had to be either $10 or $20 (increments of $10 is where she was going with this I believe) I then proceeded to select no tip then because you can not tell someone how much they can tip someone especially after I heard this man burp the entire time. 🤢 after I hit no tip, she proceeded to let me tip the amount I wanted by selecting more to be charged my tip on a separate transaction to my card and then gave me $3 cash change for the difference that I originally wanted to pay. She made a huge deal about something that shouldn’t have even been a big deal, you can’t tell someone what to tip! Not going back. Disappointing.
Wade Esser: I have been doing here weekly for about 2 years . The reflexology is fantastic. Very relaxing and well trained staff. Quiet and restful for the most part . Once in awhile they will have a group of people that are chatty but the staff shuts that down. Thankfully. Very affordable and professional service . Highly recommend

Sarah Hart: Love this place. Will go again. HOWEVER, do not purchase a gift certificate from them. They put an expiration date on it and will not honor it past that date. My gift certificate was a gift and purchased during COVID. They claim they stayed open the entire time, despite stay at home orders and the Kansas Health Department closing restaurants, gyms, hair salons, etc.If you cant use it within 3 months of receiving it, tell your family/friends to not waste their money. They probably arent aware of the law suits against merchants who put an expiration date on gift cards and dont accept them. It actually makes it illegal to refuse the gift certificate based on expiration date alone, unless it is invalid for some other reason.But I am not a lawyer so who am I to argue?FYI though...Gift Certificates and Gift Cards - HB 2658 makes it a violation of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act, after January 1, 2007, to sell a gift card or gift certificate containing an expiration date of less than five years from the date of purchase.Mine was purchased Aug 1 2020, so technically I have till Aug 1 2025 to use it.
Crystal Miles: Took me and my mom out for a nice expensive treat and only had very little cash on me and she followed me out to the car and demanded more tip money when I didnt have any extra. You shouldnt ask for a tip thats something up to the person to give it.

Its my third time here, i always tipped when i wasnt asked to and sent my coworkers here for a massage. When she asked mehow much i want to tip i said you can’t force me that and we had a 5 minute conversation about it, i said that’s wrong to ask and i won’t tip now, she told me okay you can leave by pointing the door.
