I MEAN THIS if a passenger in a burning car is out and Noone is in the vehicle and fire is on the engine and hood is poped and no fire is at the opening why not just open hood it's unlatched why wait until you choped hood and hit then go pull hood latch when you just struck vehicle hood first damm.didnt listen that hood is already released. Wow kids or new recruits or volunteers humm..That work they put in should have been a roof of a house .

Larry Ready: I set my ADT fire alarm off by accident while cooking. I tried to notify everyone as soon as possible that it was a false alarm but it was too late. The KCK fire department showed up in about four minutes. I was very embarrassed but extremely amazed by the fast response. It's comforting to know they can respond that fast. Totally awesome!
Donna Knight: I had a heart attack and they were wonderful! They arrived exceptionally fast and went right to work. They were very professional, courteous and CARING. My family and I will forever be thankful for them.
RoyceAnn DesLauriers: These fine folks took the time to make my Aunt Reva feel like she was cared for, when they helped her up (twice, once at church) when she had fallen. The one firefighter, in particular, assured Aunt Reva that they did not mind coming to help "an old fat lady," (her words) and that she should stay in her home if that made her happy. THAT made her happy! Thanks for taking care of our Aunt Reva!

Gabriel: I can not believe what just happened. I live at the Dixson that is in Zona Rosa just .04 miles away from said Fire Station. Fire alarms went off. Had been going off for a good thirty minutes and that is being generous to say the least. Two fire trucks and several not a couple firemen arrived forty minutes later. Was very reminiscent of the Keystone cops or Three Stooges. The elevator is shut of which of course is for safety. There is a resident of said apartment who can not climb steps. They told everyone they could go back to their apartments and the resident said I can’t walk up all those stairs. You would think being several large men at least one or not two would have offered to help. Did they? No. This is unacceptable! I would like to speak to the chief since there is no other way to get ahold of anyone at this station, and I’m not calling 911. Zero stars should be an option
