bob wilson: I had an issue with a fixture and called Wilson and spoke to a Jeanette. She was professional, very nice and very helpful. Offered excellent customer service. She sent out a tech named Tanner who was absolutely unbelievable and was so nice, helpful and did an outstanding job resolving our issue. He also spent time educating us on some of our lights which was very helpful. There the best. They have my business for life. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet. There is so many good things to say about these two individuals. Top notch customer service.

Bonnie: Had to drive my mother to their store because they gave her someone else's order. The items in the box were not what the box said. And neither were what she ordered. Don't waste your time. You can get accurate delivery for cheaper prices and same quality on Amazon.
Bob & Robin Hammond: Original experience when building was fine. Now trying to reach sales rep but getting absolutely no response. First left message over 2 weeks ago, then emailed. Still no response. Spoke with assistant manager who PROMISED we would be first return call the next working day. No call. When we called her a second time she assured us she would pass message to sales rep. Still no response over 2 weeks later.
Bob Anthony: Lighting solutions for every room in your home. Easy to find near 105th and Metcalf with plenty of parking. My wife and I have been shopping here for our lights for years and have never been disappointed. Lots of great items that you just can't find anywhere else. The displays are unique and really draw you in. The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with out being pushy.

A H: Dizzying assortment of lights to chose from in every style imaginable ! Prepare to spend at LEAST an hour or more and come with a finish and colors in mind to make it easier to find what you are looking for. It you don't find what you are looking for or found something but want to see if the company who makes the light bigger or smaller and or in different colors you can took it up and or order it with their new system as well and a sales associate would be more than happy to help you!
Michelle Hagen: We bought a chandelier from Rensen House of Lights for $2,500 and it only worked well for about 2 weeks. We've had multiple transformers replaced on the chandelier and they always burn out. According to the many electricians that we have had fix this issue, it's better to buy a chandelier that doesn't require a transformer. We were not aware that some chandelier's use a transformer before buying the product. Since they sell light fixtures for a living they should know that their high dollar fixtures are faulty. HUGE waste of money for a gorgeous chandelier that NEVER works.

Annette Lira: When we moved into our home, I was looking forward to purchasing my chandeliers from Renson. My husband and I went in there and bought 2 beautiful expensive chandeliers. They informed us that they did not deliver to Lansing KS and that we had to pick up our chandeliers so I drove there in my husbands truck. They packed the chandeliers in two large boxes. And I was concerned and questioned them about placing the boxes in my truck without tying them down. They weren't concerned at all. So. I drove off and both boxes flew off onto the highway and the chandeliers were chattered. I went back to Renson and the manager laughed and was not concerned at all. I was heartbroken and very upset. I will never ever go back to Renson. And I would recommend other stores. Trust me there are better stores with much better customer service and even more choices in lighting.

Dimitri Katsabanis: Nicely kept store with an array of fan gear that covers most of the sports in Kansas City. I actually saw some stuff here that they did not have at the Pro Shop inside Arrowhead Stadium, which I found pretty cool. If you’re staying in downtown, pass by hear for apparel. By the way, the authentic Chiefs jerseys fit like a glove! Pay the premium for it, you won’t regret it!

James Symmonds: Chain stores in an open air mall setting. Seems to be on a slow decline. Absolute shame that they knocked down a classic part of Plaza architecture for someone who has decided to pull out. That's going to be a hard recovery and I suspect that the soul of the plaza is going to continue to get sucked out of the place by developers. Update: sure enough. Plaza lighting really sucked this year.
Les Bro: It is always nice to get to the Plaza. It's a great date night place. I love it in the summertime in the evenings. The fountains are beautiful and romantic.There are lots of restaurants and stores to stroll through during the day. If you are visiting Kansas City, the Plaza is a great place to go. You will see all types of people, especially in the summertime. It is a great place to people watch.Unattended teens have a 9:00 pm, police enforced curfew.

Carter Taylor: It’s a known issue that the restroom accommodations are a huge issue and that the lack of publicly accessible facilities is a major failure of planning, a barrier to those who have disabilities and discriminatory against women. It does not matter if it’s you or your small child, they will not let you use the restrooms in many stores and even restaurants. They’ll send you down the street and you have to hope that the one place that lets others use the bathroom will be open, have no line, and not be out of order like they often are when handling that volume of people. These policies may have been put in place to prevent the unhoused from being in the area, but they majorly impact other groups as well.

Lance Deshazo: Went to Best Buy to buy an Xbox and saw this bundle for the price listed below. I took the tag to the front and it rang up for the wrong price. I told the cashier that it was marked as the picture showed and he called for the manager. The manager immediately stated that I was lying and that no consoles he had in the store were the price in the picture. I said that it was not my fault that his products were marked wrong. I didn't even have a chance to buy it, the manager took it and refused to sell it to me for any price. Stunned, I went back and took the picture attached and showed the manager, to which he mumbled something under his breath. I then told him that I was going to let their corporate office know just how much he cared for their customers! I would have paid the price for it, since I had to go to Target to buy the same one, but I will not be called a liar in front of other customers in the store and you act like a child when you refuse to sell it to me after I bring up a valid point!!! You should move the tags into a place where they cannot be misread or messed with by your customers!!

I checked today (Monday) & it says the same-thing. LONG STORY SHORT, I’m currently at the store where my item is at to pick it up & they will not give it to me because it has already been processed & it has to be picked up by some janky pickup service called “ Roadie”. The item is literally still in the store, in the back being held hostage. I drove almost an hour here after work to pick this up, which they have boxed waiting for a courier & the will not give me my paid for item. I’ve been on the waiting phone with the courier for almost 30 minutes & nothing. This is horrible customer service & I do plan to cancel my BestBuy account & never shop here again..Never!
