Kelly Riely: Kansas City Community Gardens is a welcoming place with friendly & helpful employees & volunteers. I have been buying all of my vegetable plants from here every season for many years. They have a good selection of vegetable plants and they have a few large events where they sell lots, usually near the beginning of each growing season. You must buy a membership and renew each year that you want to buy plants. They have a tiered system for how much people pay depending on how much money your family makes. There is a seasonal and yearly limit to the amount of plants and seeds each person can buy/have.
Lenora Wuattoux: Let's Get Back To Basics 😋GOOD FOOD IS A BLESSINGHealthy food , good food, starts with the perfect seed. The best is to plant that seed yourself.Growing your own fruits and vegetables is great for adults and children....and children tend to eat more fresh food when they participate in the planting.KANSAS CITY COMMUNITY GARDEN CENTERcan help educate you and give you the confidence to grow your own. They have classes for adults and children. The education the center shares are fun and very informative .Seeds and plants are so affordable. So come take a short tour, bring the children. You will truly enjoy yourself.Handicap friendly ❤.

Midwest Block and Brick - Kansas City: what do users think?
rob rupe: Best Block company in the Mid West Barr Nunn
Ashley B: After spending over $6k for paver stones for a back yard patio (at Midwest Block and Brick), we were told we were out of luck when the fire pit block kit we purchased (from Midwest Block and Brick) arrived with one stone missing and another broken. It did take us some time to realize the damage, but once we realized it, my husband made multiple efforts to email and call to get this resolved and no one returned his emails/calls. He finally made a trip down there but was basically told there was no way they could help us - the kits were sold as is!I would expect more from a local company who we have done over $6k worth of business with. Have some scruples and treat your paying customers right. I would have expected them to make this situation right - it was not our fault the kit came damaged and missing one stone. How can you complete a fire pit with two missing stones? If you're going to sell fire kits, you need to back them and understand they might be damaged from time to time.I would not recommend doing business with this place - no matter how much you spend with them, they don't give a darn if anything is damaged that you have purchased!
Jonathan Amborn: Customer service inside store is very good. Yard guys also courteous and prompt.
Brent Gieseke: Great selection
Gerald Oliver: Went to the show room to look at product about 12/20. Picked out what we wanted and was told the order had to go to purchasing dept and they would email me. No emails. Called on 12/29 and she said she would check on it and email me later in the day. A week later and have heard nothing! Will be going elsewhere.
Brian (BW): Not like it used to be , I go in the show room and asked the ignorant, uninformed woman that works there for 60 sq ft of eldorado thin stone ,she says she'd have to order it that they're just a middle man 4-6 wks wait ,I said bye.
Brian Herrick: Real nice folks an always have the materials I need,at a good price.
William Jansen: Solid
Mike Brantly: Great place to work.
Jason White: Work here, great place, excellent deals
larry austin jr: Greeted quickly at the counter and received my paperwork. Headed outside wait about 10 minutes, got loaded. No problems.
Jeff David: Very helpful. Needed concrete splash block under exterior gutter that we could not find anywhere else.
ali nikaeen: Good variation of concrete paver samples and paver design samples/examples in their show room.Good quality product compare to other stores selling similar concrete pavers.Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Carlos Cuba Palanco: Not good prices here, even more expensive than third parties.
Wayne Blankenship: Really helpful if you looking for any block or bricks
Matt D: Friendly staff and great prices compared to hardware stores.
Tony Ross: The name pretty much sums it up.
Alexander Geron: Encuentra uno de todo
John Tompkins: Exceptional people
Brad Resch: Always helpful and friendly
Mark Eldredge: Cole was great..

North Kansas City YMCA: what do users think?
Kit Waltz: Great pool area and love the water yoga class!
Morgan B: Staff is friendly, facility is clean.
Antonio Rodriguez: The customer service is unreal. One day I can have fantastic customer service.Another day, like today, I can be trying to get a copy of a Member ID Card at 7:54pm but they say they can’t cause their systems are shut down?
Cate Evans: It's a good faculty, but special treatment is given to low income people over paying members. Like, having special hours on the pool. The pool is closed to paying members between 1 and 3, during COVID and still remains in effect in all Kansas City YMCAs. I also use the Y in Platte City and can't use the pool between 1 and 3 for no good reason. Why is this still operating under COVID hours?
Jerry Place: Friendly atmosphere. Not too crowded and not too intense. No judgement and plenty of help if needed. Great place to workout.
Richard Stevens: Nice. Clean. Not crowded
Jim Conway: Clean environment, exercise equipment in good condition, friendly staff.
Amanda Boyers: Best Y for open swim in Kansas City. First, the open swim hours are better. Second, it’s got more amenities than most. Lazy river, hot tub, wet sauna, dry sauna, slides (limited hours), splash park/climbing thing (limited hours). Best place to go with kids of multiple ages. The swim club for kids is great.
Frank Dolci: great facility
Johnny B Goode Music: Today was Absolutely Horrible. A 24 hr Turn around from Super nice to a Horrible Disgrace. Staff could not figure out how to adjust a stable bicycle. Amazing Horrible.
Danielle Gilpin: I love how they are inclusive in hiring special needs adults!
Atlana Johnson: Wonderful place for all ages !
Loraine Castorena: It could be a 5 except the moldy, stank, steam room. I've been wanting to go in since I became a member but I keep waiting for them to clean the mold out of it before I can consider getting in. I joined in December. It's nearly April. It hasn’t been cleaned once during this time.
Mary Hibbard: A life long friend had a birthday party!!Was a nice place to meet..nice and clean, ladies room could of use attention. Over all great place!!
Daniel Bethe: This is the best YMCA of my life. It has a huge open floor plan that’s very inspiring when you see all the possibilities. You see lots of activities and people are spread out with plenty of room. A variety of personal trainers can make long term appointment plans or do a quick orientation tour. Check the website for photos of the amazing pool and river and hot tub. There are activity labs, video games (PS4 and more), 3D printers, computers, and a music recording studio, all maintained by volunteer kids and overseen by staff. Best Buy donated $20,000 of gear so 3D printing is all free even without a membership. There’s a daily food bank because these people all have hearts of gold.
Addyson Trowbridge: Ok
Linda Currid: I love the NKC Y but wish the pool was open later on Saturday (only open until 2!), They would play overhead music and their class schedule was correct. I got up super early to go to a specific class this morning at 5:30 a.m. and it wasn't that class
William Gonzalez: I really love this ymca
Andrew Jensen: Would help if persons answering the phones could answer simple questions rather than hang up on you. Very politely asked if they would ever be going back to pre covid hours as closing at 8 is difficult for people who work late. "No extended hours" was the response and when I rephrase my question I was hung up on. Calling back did no good and there is no place to leave a message. At this point it's absolutely ridiculous to pay as much as we do for such limited hours well beyond any excuse of covid policy.
Sheri Finley: Everyone I have come in contact with has been super friendly. I am working with a personal trainer and I have also participated in a group exercise class. I love it!
Kevin Cronk: Took my two boys here to swim, the schedule said the kid zone was open 9:30-1pm. Showed up at 11am and the kid zone and the slide were closed. We had to swim in a small area next to the hot tub. Then, knowing the kid zone was closed, they wanted to yell at my 4 yr old for wanting to jump off the stairs into the deeper water. 3 more kids showed up to swim while we were there and yet they still refused to open the kid area. Pretty disappointing to say the least. They should stop mentioning the kid area or the slide when they are giving you a tour trying to get your membership since it’s never open or operational.

Alexis Donnelly: Food was okish. Place was clean. Also, when they clean they should be putting wet floor signs down. Got lost looking for the bathroom and went to a section nobody was in and it was wet. One of the games stole some money from us. The staff was really good though. Staff was great. Kitchen needs to use less oil. You can taste it in everything.
Ms. Jennifer: We visited late in the evening and our service was fantastic. Our food came out hot and fresh. Creamy Italian dressing was oil based vs. dairy, but I can live with that. Probably not even worth mentioning.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Eric Linette: We have an American legion team gathering here and Molly our server was nothing less than fantastic. We would come back again just for the service she gave us. They also handled our group great from Molly to management and other workers. By far one of the best experiences we’ve had as a team. Thank you Molly and minskys pizzaFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chris Schwerin: I was a frequent patron at Minskys Pizza until just now. I came in with a 15 person party for my Mother in Laws Birthday and the food that was delivered was BURNT. I let the server know and she replaced it. However they only took it into the back for awhile and then brought it right back out. I spoke to the Manager on Duty (Trent McClelland) and he was rude. Asked for the General Managers contact info and was told his name was Jason but would need to just call the location and hope he was there. I used to eat here once a week and I will now never return. Many Business Meals here and now will not return. 1 bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. This manager need to go.

Jeff Lynn: Been coming here since the 90s and the food and service is always great however something has to be done with the Draft beer system. Every time i get a draft beer its flat and has a foul after taste. Doesnt matter which beer. To the point where i can only order bottles here which is a shame because i love a great draft beer.
