Mason Murphy: I used R Mech last year when my water sourced heat pump was acting up. Though R Mech is a self-described expert in heat pumps, the first technician said my thermostat just needed replaced, so I was disappointed when it proved to be a misdiagnosis after purchasing and installing a new one with same issue. When they came back out to try again, it was obvious the new technician did not have experience with this type of heat pump and was struggling to interpret his own diagnostic codes, so all in all I paid $99 for no accurate diagnosis, and wasted time. Thankfully a family friend found a patch fix, but now needing my system serviced again and I don’t think I’ll be using R Mech because if they do have experts, it certainly wasn’t the people they dispatched to me last year.Service:A/C system repair

They blew some insulation in our attic, put some framing around our doors and installed a new bathroom fan. They looked around for possible issues and then tighten stuff up as they repaired other things. I have not made a comment since then because I’ve been waiting to see what happened. Well in the past two weeks we’ve only had to use our air conditioner maybe two or three times and not even for a 24 hour. Probably not even for a 12 hour. That’s how well our house is now insulated. They were incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and went out of their way to explain everything and help in other areas that they did not have to. I cannot thank these guys enough. David Rodick: If you have a gas leak, they will provide neither an ETA nor a call-ahead. Will it be minutes? Hours? You won't know. If you miss them, they will simply turn off your gas and make you schedule a time for them to turn the gas back on and investigate at their convenience.

I did not have the bill, so when the system was giving my acct #, the voice spoke so ridiculously fast, I had to call back 2 addl times to get it all! Secondly, when I finally got the acct #, and was attempting to pay by credit card, the system "talked over me", thereby misunderstanding what I was trying to say, and I was automatically transferred to a human. And last, but certainly not least, the human I talked with was rude. There must be a contest going on at his call center to see how many calls a rep handles in a given period of time, because he talked so fast it was unreal! First, he got upset when I asked him to repeat his name. (I keep a record of everyone I talk with when transacting business online.) It sounded like Janeer. When the call was ending, he, again, flew thru the confirmation #. Even tho there is a convenience fee involved, it is nice that you are able to pay your bill from the comfort of your home. HOWEVER, it would be nice if automated system worked properly, and enough time was allowed for a caller to answer questions. AND when a human element (cust serv rep) becomes involved, it would be nice if they were more considerate of the caller, and spoke clearly, distinctly, and slowly.

Skip to my last paragraph for the short version.I purposely waited a year to write this review so I could give a complete review of the wood burning stove and Leisure World’s workmanship, after using it for a full season.First the stove review: Brian was incredibly patient in answering all my questions and helping me find the right stove for my home. When he didn’t know the answer, he went back to his distributor to get answers, so I could make an informed decision. He never rushed me in making a decision and always provided answers quickly and thoroughly, which I appreciated. I purchased a Pacific Energy Zero Clearance FP25 which has proven to be the perfect fit for providing about 90% of my heating needs this past winter. Given the layout and size of my house, it has worked exactly as Brian said it would.Now the workmanship: Probably like you, I’ve had many projects done on my homes throughout the years that I am unable or unwilling to tackle (roofs, driveways, wood stove installations, etc.). Some go well, some not so well. This one went exceptionally well! My chimney required an extensive amount of work as I was replacing an old gas fireplace with the wood burning unit. Justin and Eliseo were absolutely amazing in the work they did. Detailed, clean, reliable, and concerned about getting so many details right to meet performance and safety requirements was impressive. If these guys did any other home remodel work, I would hire them; they are that good.Kiah was so helpful in getting me updates while we were waiting for a final part from the manufacturer. She would follow up with me on a certain date as promised, even when there was no update yet on its arrival. It’s currently 11:15 pm on March 6, 2023.As a home owner, we all have that small little fear of the day when sewage water back flows into your basement, bathtub and out of your toilet. Ugh, that was me this past weekend! After waiting a few days for my homeowners warranty to assign me a plumber. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Better Services Inc was handling my nightmare of a plumbing problem. I had called them first thing in the morning. Mainly because, they had me scheduled to wait another day for services. I was informed that they were booked solid but would see what they could do to get me faster service. I can honestly say, I waited with fingers crossed hoping I would be able to take a decent shower by the end of the day. And sure enough, my phone was ringing a few hours later. Dan was an hour away and hand been working on a current job, he assured me with such a professional and confident tone that he would be able to solve my plumbing issue.When he arrived, I was surprised to see a smiling, business button down shirt, with jeans and boots on a PLUMBER who had been working all day. Dan came in, introduced himself and went right to work. He analyzed where and how the pipes were running through my walls to determine where the clog could be causing the back flow. Once determined with constant communication and clarity. He went right to work. He worked very thoroughly. He was completely friendly and made sure to communicate and double check the plumbing lines in my four story three full bathroom house. Within the hour……water was flowing, toilets were flushing and no BACK FLOW was flowing back into the tub or toilet. He also cleaned what ever it was he accidentally dirty.Long story short……..I am a happy home owner again with no fear of an un-welcomed sewage problem re-entering my home.Thank you Dan for keeping your word and for being so proficient.
