Brad Hartmann: This place was amazing! I love italian food and have been to a lot of different places but this is quite possibly my favorite. For one the bread and garlic oil were amazing, they had coke products which is a plus and the alfredo sauce had an amazing taste. Also tried the Manicotti which i never had before and it was also amazing. Also very friendly staff. Highly recommend
Chad Watt: We came in late after a day on the road and found an Italian restaurant that was open late. Everything was great, authentic food, great service and the atmosphere. I was a little apprehensive because there was no one else in the parking lot or inside but it was amazing. The owner served us and was so personable and welcoming. If I lived in this community this would be my favorite local place to eat.
Jay Dailey: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Stefani Sergeant: We ate at Tuscany’s for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. Great service and friendly staff. Our server, Trinity, was efficient in ensuring all of her tables were well taken care of. We started with the memorable Fresh Mozzarella Caprese appetizer; the capers added a special touch. Tuscany’s version of my favorite pasta dish, manicotti, featured a rich and savory red sauce and generous amounts of mozzarella and ricotta. I sampled my husband’s chicken Palermo and was impressed with the flavorful yet light cream sauce. Very enjoyable experience and I look forward to a return visit.

Phillip Green: Wow, just wow. The food was great, very tasty, and a great value. Honestly, the only complaint would be that the soft drink choices are lacking. The bathrooms were clean, as was the restaurant, and the atmosphere was soft and comfortable. Let's talk about the food. Great rich flavors with perfectly textured pasta and the bread. Man, it all was great. So much, we went back two days later. Just stop in and enjoy dinner or lunch. It's a great choice.
Michael Johnson: This is : ( Hands Down, my new spot to eat ). Absolutely loved everything on the menu. I highly recommend the mushrooms in that great wonderful sauce I can’t pronounce. second, I recommend their three past diner ( with two kinds of stuffed ravioli and a meat ball extravaganza ).I’m not Italian, so I don’t know how to describe the dinner without looking at the menu but I guarantee you you’ll love it.It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth every last fork and spoon full.

When I say both orders where so huge that we did not have room to order a main. The shrimp scampi was very different but very good. I would like to really thank Jasiah for being so helpful with menu and explaining the different menu options. He was really polite and everything we asked for he back to check with the kitchen and I must say everything we requested Jasiah made it happen. We will be adding this restaurant to ourA+ List

Ronald Banister Jr: On a little adventure for an item for our new porch led us to Blue Springs, MO area.  My wife located this Italian restaurant and decided to give it a try.  A quaint no frills restaurant from the outside, warm and inviting on the inside.  Being early in the week, it wasn't busy and we were seated immediately.  We ordered the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, our only issue, there were only five succulent mushrooms in a rich cheese sauce.  I guess we needed room for the meal.  :-) We shared an order of Scampi Evola with a side order of Alfredo Linguine and a Caeser salad. Everything was absolutely delicious, the croutons were light in the salad (we felt the salad could have been cooler) but it was good.  It was clear to us the meal was cooked with Love.  Our server, Elizabeth was great, very knowledgeable and courteous.  After the meal, the manager stopped by, we did not get her name (or I forgot it), she explained the restaurant had been owned by the same Italian restaurant (Garazzos) that had closed in Wichita, KS during Covid.  An absolute favorite of my wife when she lived there.  We ordered the Tiramisu to go, they wrapped it up for our long drive back home.  It was a delicate creamy, chocolate and coffee piece of heaven. We will have to do a repeat visit.

Lorie Naylor: Deeann our server did an excellent job, she was waiting on several tables and kept everyone happy. But the entree’s were very bland and overpriced. They didn’t have their everyday menu. There were only a handful of options and they were very expensive. I don’t recommend them.
MFPhoto1: I stopped in for a bite of lunch. I had a nice dinner sized salad. They were quite busy, but the servers and staff did their best to keep up with the lunchtime rush. I was satisfied. Check it out.
Pam Kinnell: We had reservations as recommended by other reviews. The restaurant was not very busy on Friday evening so not sure if reservations are needed. Ordered an appetizer eggplant poppers. Marinara sauce tasted like jar marinara. I ordered the Alfredo. It was not great. The noodles a little on the doughy side and the sauce was extremely thick and gritty. We were celebrating our Anniversary and to say the least I was less than impressed.
Sandra Dempsey: Had an inexperienced waiter. Had a bit of a time with our 100 year old father. He is very self sufficient. but the waiter had a bit of confusion when taking his order. We came here for a family dinner; I had the Gnocchi, my wife had the sausage Pinini, my sister had the chicken parm, and my brother in law had the pasta di mare, my son had the spaghetti, and my niece had the chicken Alfredo. We all picked at each other's plates and it was all really good (especially the Gnocchi)! The calamari and salad with their housemade Italian was also really freaking good. I really feel like we found a hidden gem in Independence. Will 110% be back very soon.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator to get to the second floorDietary restrictions: They had keto and gluten free options

Micheal Salmon: Went to eat at 2:30 so there was no rush. It took 20 minutes for us to get sat although there was no wait. Then it took us 50 minutes to get our food, When I asked for a second order to go that order finished before my main order. Then they placed both into a to go Box and that's how I was served. No adjustments to bill, only blame on the kitchen.
Andrea Scott: We went here for dinner yesterday and had the soup, salad and breadsticks. I had the Chicken & Gnocchi soup. Everything tasted pretty good. However, when I was eating the soup at the bottom of the bowl, I felt something hard in my mouth. I thought it might be a piece of bone that had somehow gotten into the soup. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was shiny. It was a metal shaving that was about an inch long. We informed them of this and they were very nonchalant like it happens every day. The waitress asked me did I think it came off the bag of soup. How would I even know that? The first manager we talked to only said that it wasn't supposed to be in there. Yeah, no s**t. They offered me another bowl like I was supposed to have any confidence eating their soup after that. They did make sure to get rid of the evidence quickly. Due to their lack of true concern, I have no confidence that they got rid of that batch of soup. Needless to say but I was very upset and disappointed in this experience. I will not be going back to this Olive Garden because most of them have no real concern for their customers.

Caramel Cube: UNACCEPTABLE!!! Upon arriving for our reservation, we were not greeted and the restaurant was hot as the ac is down. It took the hostess about 15min to even come back and seat us even though there were only about 7 tables in use and a few people at the bar. Once seated, we were given 2 menus for a reservation of 5, and also noticed most of the empty tables around us had not been bussed in quite some time. After about 10min, our server came by and said she'd bring water; we never saw her again. Another 10min passes and the "manager" brings us bread and water, and said a server would come take our order. It took about 15min for that to even happen. We ordered drinks, which were inconsistent and missing ingredients. After the drinks came we were finally able to order Appetizers and entrees. The Appetizers arrived about 6min before the entrees, so there wasn't much time to enjoy them. Although the Appetizers were on point, the entrees lacked flavor and seemed as though they were just thrown together. Our server was nowhere to be found throughout the meal. Nobody checked on us, refilled our water, asked if everything was good, NOTHING. When the server finally came back we decided to get dessert to go (this was about 9pm). For the next hour our server brought us 8 wrong tickets every 15min or so. I asked for the manager and was told he was "super busy" (there's now about 4 tables in use and 2 people at the bar). After asking for the manager 4 times, he shows up 40min later. Surprisingly it's the guy that brought the bread. I'm not even sure he was really the manager though, as his hygiene was not up to par. He went ahead and comped a couple of the desserts to "make it right". After that, it still took our server 20min to process our check so we could leave. I finally made it home to try and enjoy my tiramisu, however; it wasn't even prepared with lady fingers! Whatever type of sheet cake they used was over soaked which led the dessert to have zero integrity... All in all, THIS RESTAURANT RUINED MY BIRTHDAY and I will NEVER return!.
Cait B: The pasta had zero flavor, had to ask for seasonings. The lunch service also took two hours when there was hardly anyone there. I would not recommend.

Bretfan 33: The food was ok, and the server was friendly. I found the Gorgonzola in my dish to be a bit too overpowering, but ither than that it was good
Bee P: Katrina gave us excellent service. We chose Brio just to dine outside and were told patios were closed so we were disappointed but stayed anyway. Food was delicious.
Colby White: What a cluster. First mistake, we made reservations on Mothers Day. We arrive and the AC is broken. Ok, these things happen, not really the restaurants' fault. The lobby was packed with about 50 p*ssed off people. No control over the situation. Customers going through and manipulating the hostess's terminal. We wait at the bar for our reservation time. Bartender is having an extremely bad shift and it's obvious because it shows and he is complaining and p*ssed off. We are amazingly seated not long after our reservation time. Restaurant is very dirty, is hot and muggy. Extremely understaffed. We order 2 appetizers, first one comes out right away, the second comes out at the same time as our dinner. Wife never got her salad that was supposed to come prior to dinner. Waitress was unaware, probably because she had a section way too big for a single server. The food was actually decent. This is our second time coming, and our second bad experience. No reason to go back. Management - If your establishment is short staffed, you should 1) book accordingly, not fill it up and let the staff deal with the fall-out to make a short term profit. 2) Make it a competitive place to work with proper pay/benefits so you're not short-staffed. The industry has changed. Adapt or go extinct.
Orion Bashkiroff: Went for Mothers Day, had a reservation, but that didn't matter, well over 50 people waiting to be seated. AC didn't work, way understaffed, and my Chicken Limone was far from that, it was breaded so heavy with egg that it was more an omelet than anything else...Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Liz Reyes: I made reservations for 3 at 1pm today Mother’s Day we left at 1:40 pm because we still had not been seated! I asked how long it would be at 1:30pm and the hostess could not tell me, she only said you have all these people ahead of you. The air conditioning was not working and the poor bartender was about to pass out! Why provide reservations if you cannot provide the service. We will not return.Dietary restrictions: Wouldn’t know didn’t get served.
Jeff Hunter: Don't go on mother's day, no help at front desk, air-conditioning is out, we 5:45 reservation, were told it may be 2 hours???? After waiting 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Really disappointed!

Roula Khawam: I was skeptical when a relative wanted to take us out to Tusconos. With so many Italian restaurants, not many usually stand out. And with Kansas City not far, I wasn't expecting to find top notch food in Buckner, MO. Well, Tusconos pleasantly surprised us! Exceptionally pleasant staff; beautiful venue, including their charming patio; and from the bread they bring out with oil and spices to dip in, to their pizzas, and then dessert, it all tasted just so good! I would go back without a doubt!
Stacy Lewallen: This place is awesome. It's a short drive east of Independence, Missouri, and worth the drive. You get a lot of food for the money which is always very good. It's an Italian pasta and pizza place. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Always had a smile on his face. Kept our glasses fool at all times. Regina Uptegrove: This is always a go to place for Italian for us. It is Fabulous, never been disappointed in anything we've ordered. It is a must to get dessert, the triple chocolate cake is Heavenly, it is to die for. The employee's are extremely polite and respectful. Also the Owners even takes the time to come around to the customers to make sure they have been taken care of. You won't be disappointed👍

Garrett Smith: I live in the same town as this place. Been here several times. They have some good dishes. I think the standards have dropped. Mainly I speak of any noodles that have chicken added. The chicken is rubbery and tasteless. I think it's an issue of prep. As if they cook it first of the day and reheat it later overcooking it. You could brine the chicken breast over night and slice it up about pinky size in the morning and cook it fresh for each dish. The small slices wouldn't take long to cook and would be tender and flavorful. You could cook it in the pan with any mushroom, onion or garlic that goes with it first creating a glaze on the bottom of the pan before adding the noodles and sauce. The chicken flavor would be enhanced incredibly and the chicken itself would be tender. I've heard others complain about the chicken. They just don't want to tell you to your face in fear of hurting your feelings. You're going to pay $20 per person if you eat here so I won't be ordering anything with chicken until I hear it's improved by a staff member or another customer. It's quite disappointing when you spend hard earned money on a meal you are unsatisfied with. Also the booth where the staff enter and exit the kitchen is the worst booth I've ever sat in. Every staff member that walks by who stomps their feet the whole table and booth shakes. It really takes away from the peace of eating out comfortably. I understand this review is a bit dark but it's simply the worst I've experienced here. The bar is excellent and any dish without chicken is very good. Id recommend anyone to come to tuscanos and give it a try. The complementary bread has a good chew to it and the spiced olive oil to dip it in is good. The staff are friendly albeit sometimes quite slow. I'll be back. Maybe for spaghetti carbonara or Greek pasta.
