Mill Creek Park Tennis Courts: what do users think?
Jacob Miller: So nice
jose mendoza: They should make this tennis court a basketball court
Lupe Moe: l
Curtis Jewett: Best thing here is the bathroom 3 had to poo
ObsidianJaxx: Great area to play just wish the courts were kept better.
Joseph McQuillan: Alot of courts out of the way quit
Dan-O The Mad Scientist: It was good, but the trash cans were over flowing, there was a junk bicycle by the bathroom and new graffiti on the out building...if you can ignore that....it was a great place!
Kimberly Matlock: Quiet place
Kent Medina: I’ve never played tennis here, but the city did replace these courts a few years ago. Other than that, nice looking little park and nice little trail to run or bike that goes down to McCoy. These courts aren’t directly connected to the main park.

Mill Creek Park: what do users think?
Donna Bixler: It's a very nice ballpark with concessions. Restrooms eye clean and the kids had a great time on the playground equipment!Playground: Plenty to do and benches to sit with the kiddos.Restrooms: Clean.
Kenneth Figgins: Great Park for trails and sports plenty of fields. Not much for the smaller kids but there is a little obstacle course/playground the boys enjoyed.
Hannah Collison: I love this park. Off in a neighborhood so it tends to be quieter and not as crowded. One playground feels perfect for my 2 year old to play. Plenty of space if you have a nature kid and there are picnic tables to use as well. Nearby bathrooms are a plus too! My girls love this playground.
John Miller: This park is a hidden jewel
Debbie Daniels: I love going up here but people are so nice friendly and very helpful and they call you by name they know
David Mascho: Bathrooms are closed for the winter and all the shelters were packed with homeless
Heather Cooley: One of the better parks in Independence
Charlene Jameson: Lovely park- we were there for a bday party will definitely visit again.
Daryl Jone s: Fun place to take the kids.
mario angel Barreras: Excelente...increible
Ny. Walker: This is a nice park...it is not used enough... Great shady🌳area for the kids to play.... or if you prefer fun in the sun...🌞.....there is also a nearby play area where you get full 🌞..
Frank Galvan: Very well maintained. Awesome shelter house. Plenty of space for my large family gathering. Will definitely use again for having family gatherings.
Bill 816 Magnet Fishing and Urban Exploring: A very nice park for a family reunion or a graduation party etc nice playground could do a little better on the nasty restroom though
Edwin Reece: The area is nicely kept up. There are shelter houses to rent. There are multiple ball fields. There is also tennis courts. Plenty of parking.Playground: They have a really nice playground. Lots of activities.Dog-friendliness: While there may not be a specific area for dogs, we went into one of the ball fields that wasn't in use and was able to close the gates and let the dogs run free.
Robin Reece: Enough space that even a super loud group at the shelter didn't annoy:)
Greg Beatty: Easy access to all fields. Concessions are not consistently available.
Stephanie Duffey: Mill Creek Park is a not so hidden gem. It's usually clean but bathroom are locked.
James Poli: No lights at night
Janice Fortney: Nice neighborhood park. Friend and I socially distanced on a park bench and had a good chat after out walk.
Nina Porter: Great place for kids to play! Just wished the bathrooms were open in more than just the summer.
Shelby Vermillion: When calling independence public works to rent a shelter I was told the park was right next to shelter 2 (which was the only shelter they had available. The park is 150 yards away... when we arrived there was a strong smell of urine and a wet spot in the parking lot. Someone had taken a pee right there, couldn't even go in the grass. The shelter was a good size with plenty of room and tables I cannot complain about that. But the shelter was also very dirty. Trash was everywhere and the structure itself was disgusting. After the birthday party we walked the 150 yards away to the park. Which is small but has a jungle gym, slides, and swings. It seemed decently clean but the swings had such deep rivets from kids playing that my tall 5 year old couldn't even get on by themselves.

Metro East Tennis Center: what do users think?
Ernesto Cortissoz: I have been a member about a 7 years. I am very happy with the facilities, the staff, and the other members.I use the courts about 3 times a week for doubles, as well as practice drills.I recommend METC to all tennis players, regardless of the level. If you enjoy a friendly, professional environment, this is the club to join.
Kali Mabrey: I cannot say enough good things about METC. Mason and the other coaches are incredible teachers, super patient while coaching and continue to instill confidence. My son has found a lifelong love of tennis and has become quite competitive thanks to METC.
Dave Caldwell: Nice facility that I'll join in the near future. Friendly staff and the Monday drills were well done.
Brandon Shanks: Very nice place. Well-maintained, clean, with friendly staff. Mason is a great instructor and the adult drills were fun.
Jack Martell: Came from out of town and was welcomed with open arms. Courts are well maintained and the owners are very professional. I would love to bring this place back to Florida with me!
pg loomis: Great play to play tennis year round. Lots of activities for kids and adults.
Stefanie M: Coach JT is a young coach who seems to be able handle a range of ages with alot of maturity and patience.
Sherry Holt: I enjoy playing tennis and this is a very nice tennis club
Tam Nguyen: The membership fee is higher than most of the tennis clubs in town, but the hours are very limited. There is no real program for kids.
Arnaud Lejeune: Having a blast with the staff and the members! It's really a great club to be part of...
Crystal Frederick: Nice tennis courts.
Kristen Whitt: My daughter LOVES her coach and wants to go more then her scheduled class. Everyone is so nice and wonderful to all these starting kids!
Davida Brown: It's a very nice establishment. Ran by sweet employees.
Nicholas Hays: Metro East is one of the nicest clubs in the KC area. The courts are always in great shape and the staff go out of their way to ensure your experience at METC is a positive one. Memberships are a great value and it is always easy to find a match or hitting partner. I would encourage anyone to give this club a go, you won't be disappointed.
Nathan Mooney: Courts are great and so is the atmosphere. The owners and the people that work at Metro work hard to make it a great place for players and their families. Have 5 indoor courts and they work hard to make sure you are able to get playing time whether it's league play or you are just going up to hit around with a buddy.
Preston Land: Just joined METC and couldn't be happier... Very affordable, great courts, and very flexible leagues and match play!
