Crossfire Recreational Center: what do users think?
Missy Drake: Range time with new gun = one DRT blue guy!!!!!
John Stricklin: I couldn’t be happier, they welcomed us, like old friends, user friendly, clean, and very comfortable atmosphere. Took my kids first time shooters, made good memories. Thank you guys!
Becky Horton: This is a great location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Donald Simkin: I have had great experiences at Crossfire dating all the way back to first meeting Loyd, owner back around 2015.
josh rogers: Friendly experienced very knowledgeable staff
tyler kyle: Love this place! Very friendly staff, great service at a great price!
Eric Webb: Good folks good fun
Molly Chavez: Fantastic range! The lady behind the range counter is fantastic. Kind and knowledgeable! We love this place!
Victor Tran: Favorite gun range to go to. Cool people
Phantom JiuJitsu: Crossfire is a great range that is run by experts who treat you like a friend. 10/10 would recommend!
felicia davis: Everyone was so nice and very pleasant.
Brandon Walker: Very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase but the overall experience is what will make me come back, again and again.
Jerah White: My personal favorite indoor range still to this day. Can't beat the pricing and the ability to get a lane with ease compared to the overpriced fancy places like frontier justice that kick ya out in an hour.
Cara Weese: The guy that helped us check in was super nice and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Jeff Jorgensen: Called to ask a question, and the employee on the phone instantly told me to hurry up there are too many other customers. You would think non essential businesses that were closed for several months wouldnt be rude to customers. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Preston Harbison: Need to go and see what it's about. Like Guns you'll love it..
David Hasemeyer: This is a great little gun store/range! They have a huge inventory of guns for sale, plenty of ammo, and a nice little indoor air-conditioned gun range. Plenty of ammo too. This is a great little gun shop!
john smith: Place is nice employees are friendly but in the summer it's hot in there and some lanes the targets move non stop because of the fans and in the winter it's really cold pretty much best time to shoot here is in the 70-80 degree weather
Mark Stilwell: Went to their range as part of a CCW Class. Ventilation was horrible, air flow had target being blown around. Range out of control.
Matthew Brown: Very friendly and helpful people! Range is good and clean. Some have complained about the range in other reviews. I personally had no problems or complaints with it. Range rate is very fair as well. Will be back again based on the people and range alone.
Matt: Close to home (Independence, MO) Great Prices. Friendly staff. Just a nice indoor family owned range. Wish the lighting was a little better. But that's just me. Inside the back is the Gun Range inside there is a very nice selection of firearms that you can buy or rent.

Powder Creek Shooting Park: what do users think?
Trickshot club: Powder creek is a great sporting clay course along with trap, skeet, cowboy action. The facilities are well maintained. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping in to shoot!
CHRISTIAAN LEYVA-SHAGOVAC: Cool place!! Then again, I've spent my whole life trying to live in a neighborhood where I don't have to hear gunshots.....if the wind is blowing southwest, all I hear is gunshots! What can you do. 3 more years and I'm out of this place.
Alex Rodriguez: Fun and welcoming place to shoot shotgun outdoors, skeet, trap and archery too!
Joel Espinoza: Great place. We took a group of 6 to shoot trap and enjoyed it. Would have liked a little guidance as it was our first time but we got it figured out
Thomas Slocum: Always a good time!!
Armen Budagov: Always a great time! Love sporting clays.
Eric Ortega: Went out for the first time yesterday. Great place to shoot. plenty of shooting areas and choices. Pricing seems good to me and I can't wait to come back.
Brandon Shaw: Wow! Have never been here until today, this place is amazing, staff friendly, prices honest, course is clean. We will be back it’s a hour from home and I like that I can shoot a different course then my wife yet still shoot together, my daughter loves 5 stand and this place has it all… trap and skeet are next on our list. I’ll be back to try these.. awesome place with a awesome crew to help you along the course and in the club house..
Alec Antrim: I absolutely love this place. I just wish it was more affordable… So I could come back more often… and especially the course. If that was more affordable I’d be back weekly!
Quinn Koehn: Terrific range with an excellent sporting clays range that has several levels of difficulty. Course is very scenic and winds through trees and creeks with no backtracking. Also a great 5-stand range as well as plenty of skeet and trap options. I travel 6 1/2 hours from western Kansas to get to this place and it’s worth the drive.
Shmeng Lor: Decided to take my brother's out for some 5 stand shooting on Saturday. Usually a pretty friendly place but not that day. Older receptionist lady didn't even greet us, passed us to a different person, and was simply rude. I understand if you're having a bad day, but don't take it out on people who spend their hard earned money on your facility.
Conrad Bradley: Clean facility and nicley up kept. Only thing that is holding this review back from a 5 star is Tonya at the front desk. Horrible attitude and extremely short. Very little guidance for a first time experience. She doesn't like her job and it shows badly. Tonya's representation had me double question if I wanted to go buy another round to be honest. Flat out Tonya sucks!
dev ch: A bit pricey, $25 for 50 clay, $10-$12 for box of shells and if you want a cart $30. It’s easily $100 day for 2 ppl. Love the place but dread going to the office. Seems like we’re bothering them by just being there. Never friendly, no thanks, no have a nice day…just unfriendly dry attitude. I’m being very nice here! Customer service is key.If you can overlook all that…it’s very nice and all the other staff are friendly.
Dalton Sivils: Great place to get tuned up before the hunting season. Clean facility and friendly staff.
William Anastasio: Range fudds are rude and told me they hoped the ATF would kill my dog.
Jeremy Gresham: Ownership doesn’t believe in the right to bear arms. Disappointing that we allow people like this to own and operate a range.
Kaushik Dandlamudi: Great place to spend some time. The trainer was very knowledgeable and friendly. He constantly observed the stands and corrected them as that’s the main thing beginners fail at.
Jacob Hass: One of the better sporting clay ranges I've been too.
Andrew Scianna: Great club! Highly recommend going
K. S.: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This place is a joke. Waste of money, overpriced, unprofessional, dirty. Better off driving into a field somewhere with a pumpkin.
blake sanders: The sporting clay course is a lot of fun.

Pioneer Gun Club: what do users think?
Chris Wiley: Great range
Allen Gentry: Great place
Alex F: You have to be an NRA member to join. Not every gun owner supports the NRA.
Ty: I could be partial but I'm pretty fond of it.
Sharon Dickerson: I have been going to Pioneer since I was a kid. Great place, wonderful atmosphere. I've been a member myself the last 2 years.
Park A Wood: Yes, you do have to be a member to use the range on your own. However, the club has many active competitions divisions that are open to the public and members. Check the club's website and for descriptions, contacts and a calendar of these events. Started shooting as a non-member then joined the club. Highly recommend this club for the people, value and competition.
Ty Markle: Been around a long long time!! Open 24/7/365 You have to join but this just makes it a safer place. They also have an outdoor facility with a ton of ranges that are top notch!!!
Matt Davis: Members are kind and helpful. Range isn't state the art but is a great indoor range for a club. .22 Games held in the Fall / Winter are great fun.
Adam Nichols: You have to become a member.

Target Time Defense: what do users think?
Al Motz: Great place and I thought Dave who helped me while I was there was awesome.
M L (GoofBall): I love this place! It’s not far from Gladstone, the location is at best maybe a mile north off of I-70, so you can get to it in a reasonable amount of time.PROS:- Ammo is cheap and mostly stocked…no limits.- Their range is cheap and decent (seen somebody complain on here about it being an inconvenience because it’s inside, well don’t take your but there then. Seriously, who goes to an indoor range to need a safe space because it’s not an outdoor range). .22 up to .50 BMG.- A wide selection of firearms, and I mean WIDE. Wider than the so-called “communists” who claim we have it bad here.- Usually there is a good Gunsmith onsite: he’s blunt about his points and he’s willing to help others. So, if you’re the type that needs to open up a twitter account for validation like an 8 year old daughter w/o a Dad—then don’t speak to him.- They sell doomsday prep stuff with actual MREs, not just “whole” MREs—actual…MREs.- They do transfers.- They sell suppressors.- They have a dog.- Parking is not a hassle and in a good area.- They buy and trade besides sell.- many more!CONS:- A couple of the weapons are a bit pricey, so it’s meh. Usually the pricey stuff is the C&R type stuff.- The crew size of the store is like four, maybe five employees in total—so if they’re packed expect a slightly longer wait time.- Due to some ree-rees shooting birdshot, if you planning on shooting shotguns, you have to buy the shells there. Black Ace 00 for 25 shells at $32. Be mad at your fellow idiot(s) on that one.
MC R: Not just a gun range! Plenty of guns and accessories available to feed your addiction and supplies. Staff is straight forward and provides great advice. They even have a gunsmith on site who is currently getting my sons Mosin ready for its inaugural shooting. It’s very much worth the drive from Liberty, MO. Just so you know, you can shoot rifles (with steel ammo) and shotguns along with your pistols. Great vibe going on at this place!
Skife: The only indoor range worth going to in the area. I've been coming up to TTD for years. Staff is great. If you're experienced with firearms or if you're a beginner, this is a nice place to practice. If you shoot often, memberships are worth it. If not, their punchcards for using their range is also worth it if you are the type to go shooting every now and then.
Doc A: "Mr. Wen” (actually Wenhao Ma).. AKA the areas worst gunsmith.Stay away, other legit gunsmith options locally.Charges 4x over other local licensed gunsmiths, makes no commitment on when you work will be completed. If you want quality work, look elsewhere.Unfortunatly the gunsmith tennant will likely cost the fine staff at Target Time customers not knowing Mr. Wen rents his space. To be clear, Gun range is ok, gun sales are also ok here. The Target Time staff is courteous and knowledgable and Selection is great.But.. There are several other gunsmith options in the area you will easily find via google.
Dan Gooden: I went in less than 2 weeks before Christmas and was able to buy a matching pair of AR15's for my sons. It took awhile to look at all of the options, Dave was nothing but patient, informative and enjoyable to work with. This is the cleanest, best stocked, friendliest gun shop I have ever been to. The range is well vented, monitored closely, can't ask for any better. Fo yourself a favor and go check them out.
Jackie Long: Had a party all set up with 6 guys and 3 lanes. They closed early that night and didn’t bother letting us know until we showed up with our party. 4 of the 6 guys came from the Kansas side. I called 3 times in the past week to confirm my reservation.
Linda Zastrow: Everything else about the experience we had at this business deserves five stars except for the interaction we had with the gun smith. My friend just purchased a gun and when we went to try it out with the ammo we had just purchased, the gun misfired. We went to speak to the gunsmith behind the counter and after he helped with the defective ammunition, he informed us that he would be charging a 75 dollar bench fee. It wasn’t just that he was going to charge a fee for something that we already paid for that was defective, he was extremely rude. After asking to talk to the owner, everything was resolved. He was great, fixed the issue and the gun is amazing. But there is no excuse to be as unprofessional and downright rude as this employee was to us and possibly many other paying customers.
Jeff Hyde: I renewed my annual membership today because this is by far the best range in the area. I'm in here weekly and I see how the owner and employees work with and help a broad range of customers from first time shooters to seasoned vets.I think it speaks volumes about the business when you see how welcoming they are to new shooters, making them comfortable in what can be an intimidating environment.Give Target Time Defense a try, you won't be disappointed.
Thomas Taylor: Bought my first rifle at (19) guy who worked behind the counter was very informative and straightforward I respected that nothing was sugarcoated, enjoyed the service the guy that worked there was very humorous- He explained a lot of things about gun laws that I didn’t know as well made sure to let me know how important having my receipt was. I left knowing that I had nothing to worry about and was a lot more informed when I left. appreciated the experience.
Sam Sable: To call this a range is laughable at best. All the inconveniences of shooting outside with all the noise of shooting inside. Large selection of overpriced goods in the shop. Perfect place for new shooters who wouldn't know any better. Not a place for anyone who has been to a legitimate range beforeEdit: Glad to know you're just searching up peoples information cause you got a bad review.
Austin Kocher: I just shot there today. The staff was great, showed me several guns I've been wanting to see that no one else has. The range is nice, the other people shooting we're cool. I'll be back again.
Robert O: Extremely knowledgeable, and so professional. 10 out of 10 customer service. Cannot recommend this place enough! Will continue to go back. They have everything you’ll need.
Chuck Johnson: They totally had the gun range that allows shotguns. Have to have a stock insights which is pretty standard. But then you have to buy their ammo at thirty bucks for 25 rounds. You can go to Walmart and get hundred rounds for 30 bucks. what are their rounds made out of gold?
Jayvone Jones: This is a great range they allow you to shoot any kind of casing. Very friendly. But they won't allow me to shoot my FRT15 trigger.
Jamie Davis: A buddy and myself had business in KCMO. We ended up going to some gun shops while in the area. Hands Down Target Time was the "BEST". Derrick, Scotty and Dalton run a "REAL" firearm shop. No candles, no yeti merch. I went to speak with gun professional's about what they had to sell in firearms and ammo and laser's and equipment. Looking for a Gun Range and Professionals Gun People? Go see these guy's there Awesome. Don't mess with Sherman!!
Steve Sirois SR (Callsign Brewing Company): Awesome place. Great selection on ammo and fire arms. Range is well maintained and what to expect at an indoor rang.
Casey Brown: Great staff super knowledgeable.
George Ramos: Friend called and asked if they allowed shotguns at the range they said yes. We immediately headed over just to find out the range cutoff was 6:45, 7 minutes from our arrival when we had just called twenty minutes prior. Would've been nice to know the range had a cutoff over the phone instead of making the trip down.
Khyler Brown: I went in looking for 300 blk out rounds with a buddy of mine and when he informed me that they didn’t have any I asked was it possible to find some for me and he smirked and asked if I was a prince or something. Lol I had to leave before I got disrespectful but man I don’t appreciate the type of service I received. Definitely don’t recommend going if your younger than 25!
Brian’s Aquatics: Very helpful and easy to talk too

Spam Man: If you are new or even experienced in shotgun trap/skeet/clay pigeon shooting, this is a great place to go. Bring your own shotgun and enjoy the surroundings! According to the online store, which we didn't ask about when we visited, you can rent/use shotguns they already have. You can buy shells at great prices. They provide ear and eye protection at no cost. Dave is the manager and he's got some awesome stories and a very solid owner. The prices are totally fair and the scenery is serene. Several different trap spots to shoot on. Highly recommend and will be returning soon!

They were nice enough to let us set up the day before, and it came out to be perfect. The space was big enough for a kiddy bounce house and all. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
