Crossfire Recreational Center: what do users think?
Missy Drake: Range time with new gun = one DRT blue guy!!!!!
John Stricklin: I couldn’t be happier, they welcomed us, like old friends, user friendly, clean, and very comfortable atmosphere. Took my kids first time shooters, made good memories. Thank you guys!
Becky Horton: This is a great location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Donald Simkin: I have had great experiences at Crossfire dating all the way back to first meeting Loyd, owner back around 2015.
josh rogers: Friendly experienced very knowledgeable staff
tyler kyle: Love this place! Very friendly staff, great service at a great price!
Eric Webb: Good folks good fun
Molly Chavez: Fantastic range! The lady behind the range counter is fantastic. Kind and knowledgeable! We love this place!
Victor Tran: Favorite gun range to go to. Cool people
Phantom JiuJitsu: Crossfire is a great range that is run by experts who treat you like a friend. 10/10 would recommend!
felicia davis: Everyone was so nice and very pleasant.
Brandon Walker: Very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase but the overall experience is what will make me come back, again and again.
Jerah White: My personal favorite indoor range still to this day. Can't beat the pricing and the ability to get a lane with ease compared to the overpriced fancy places like frontier justice that kick ya out in an hour.
Cara Weese: The guy that helped us check in was super nice and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Jeff Jorgensen: Called to ask a question, and the employee on the phone instantly told me to hurry up there are too many other customers. You would think non essential businesses that were closed for several months wouldnt be rude to customers. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Preston Harbison: Need to go and see what it's about. Like Guns you'll love it..
David Hasemeyer: This is a great little gun store/range! They have a huge inventory of guns for sale, plenty of ammo, and a nice little indoor air-conditioned gun range. Plenty of ammo too. This is a great little gun shop!
john smith: Place is nice employees are friendly but in the summer it's hot in there and some lanes the targets move non stop because of the fans and in the winter it's really cold pretty much best time to shoot here is in the 70-80 degree weather
Mark Stilwell: Went to their range as part of a CCW Class. Ventilation was horrible, air flow had target being blown around. Range out of control.
Matthew Brown: Very friendly and helpful people! Range is good and clean. Some have complained about the range in other reviews. I personally had no problems or complaints with it. Range rate is very fair as well. Will be back again based on the people and range alone.
Matt: Close to home (Independence, MO) Great Prices. Friendly staff. Just a nice indoor family owned range. Wish the lighting was a little better. But that's just me. Inside the back is the Gun Range inside there is a very nice selection of firearms that you can buy or rent.

Lake City Range: what do users think?
Demo demo: Love the place went there first time with my son great experience safe professional we stayed for couple hours only 8$ cheap personal are friendly and helpful with any questions I had definitely is the favorite shooting range from now
Kelley Jenison: Took my 2 sons who are 9 and 14 out to shoot some guns. Started at the skeet/trap area and meet with welcoming supervisor who was also helpful with my oldest who drew a liking to the trap shoot. We later moved to the range to shoot some 22 and pistols. Facility is quite strict and would honestly prefer it this way with multiple people in the range area. I agree with the safety and sticking to the operating procedures. We are not on our own land and don’t know the level or experience and expertise with this close proximity shooting neighbors.
Evan Roach: Just visited for the first time today. Staff and facilities were great. The rifle range is perfect for bench work. The setup and flow is quite smooth and easy to get the hang of. Will most likely be back tomorrow.
clarence morrissey: Clean facilities, Great staff and volunteers
Gilbert Randolph: The only reason I use this range is because it's close. I've had more positive experiences at the skeet and trap section because the volunteers helped me improve my shooting, but the rifle and pistol ranges are very frustrating. The staff is often rude and the overcomplicated range protocols are frustrating and unnecessary. I've been to other ranges without so many arbitrary rules and it's a much better experience and just as safe. Just about every visit has ended up being very frustrating and I'm actively looking for a different range that I can sight my rifle in for 100 yards. Would not recommend this range, especially for new shooters. The only upside is the MDC offers free rifle sighting occasionally.
Mike Brummett: Super clean range that’s ADA accessible with simple rules. Clear signage for instructions plus staff that take pride in their jobs meant I walked away very impressed.
Brian Huston: Safe! Well run.
SanDee Winn: Very helpful volunteers at the skeet range. I am a rookie and a woman. I felt very comfortable with all the help I got. Staff at the office were friendly when I paid. Nice facility.
Matt D: Great range. Staff is very helpful and price is outstanding.
Justin Simmons: Very unsafe on 2 occasions in an hours time the range master told us there was cease fire to proceed to get the targets only to notice other people were still firing down range! I’ll never go bavk
nonya buissness: Bunch of Fudds
Dylan Dear: Helpful and friendly staff. The volunteer on the trap range was particularly knowledgeable and friendly.
Earl Fowler: Very nice clean and organized Range. Staff was nice and the range provided good directions for experienced and novicists at the range. Price is EXCELLENT but may have to drive a bit to get to this location. Big thanks to the staff for sharing there is a sister site closer to me.👍🙂👍Note: No ammo is sold here.
Dale Sorensen: Very nice range. My only wish is that they install voice activated traps.
Reeces Pieces: This range is great if you like over complications of very simple tasks and so many rules/regulations it feels like you're trying to zero a rifle in prison. A nice range to zero if its sprinkling and you brought extra patience in your range bag.
Jared: Horrible place to go. They have very short hours, the staff is often rude, especially the old lady behind the counter, she acts put out by your presence and acts like you owe her a thank you for being there. Since they wont post it on their website or on the door or walls, make sure you are there by 3:30 as they wont take anymore shooters after that time since they close at 4:30. How difficult is that to put on the website so people dont drive all the way out there only to be turned away. I'll be finding another place to shoot, one that understands that customers are what keep them in business and are not a nuisance to them. MDC is your typical government entity, looking down on the very people they rely on for funding. I'll do all I can to give them as little funding of mine as I can.
Puddlemom Pool: Not a friend of the public which they serve. The older woman that works there is rude, arrogant and a bad representation of the MDC. I arrived at 3:35 to shoot some clays and was rudely turned away stating that they dont take any new shooters after 3:30 since they close at 4:30 and "Karen" informs me that its "always" been that way. Says nothing about that on the website, been going out here for decades and never heard a word about that rule before. For an organization that relies on the public to survive you sure treat them like you wish they never showed up. Get some employees and some hours that accommodate the people they serve.
Jacob Bothell: AWESOME public range. They have an eagle eye on the pistol and rifle range and will let you know if your breaking a rule. Great price $4/hour on pistol/rifle and $4 for skeet/trap round (25 birds).
Dee Jay: Went here to range in my rifle, nice clean range, strict but patent staff (which is what you want at a gun range). Will be returning with friends. It was superbly priced! The only down side is it should be open later in the evening people should be able to go put a few rounds down range after work.
Jesse Salazar: Based on the negative comments, I will be going to this range soon. If for no other reason then to experience the Staff and being yelled at.

Target Time Defense: what do users think?
Al Motz: Great place and I thought Dave who helped me while I was there was awesome.
M L (GoofBall): I love this place! It’s not far from Gladstone, the location is at best maybe a mile north off of I-70, so you can get to it in a reasonable amount of time.PROS:- Ammo is cheap and mostly stocked…no limits.- Their range is cheap and decent (seen somebody complain on here about it being an inconvenience because it’s inside, well don’t take your but there then. Seriously, who goes to an indoor range to need a safe space because it’s not an outdoor range). .22 up to .50 BMG.- A wide selection of firearms, and I mean WIDE. Wider than the so-called “communists” who claim we have it bad here.- Usually there is a good Gunsmith onsite: he’s blunt about his points and he’s willing to help others. So, if you’re the type that needs to open up a twitter account for validation like an 8 year old daughter w/o a Dad—then don’t speak to him.- They sell doomsday prep stuff with actual MREs, not just “whole” MREs—actual…MREs.- They do transfers.- They sell suppressors.- They have a dog.- Parking is not a hassle and in a good area.- They buy and trade besides sell.- many more!CONS:- A couple of the weapons are a bit pricey, so it’s meh. Usually the pricey stuff is the C&R type stuff.- The crew size of the store is like four, maybe five employees in total—so if they’re packed expect a slightly longer wait time.- Due to some ree-rees shooting birdshot, if you planning on shooting shotguns, you have to buy the shells there. Black Ace 00 for 25 shells at $32. Be mad at your fellow idiot(s) on that one.
MC R: Not just a gun range! Plenty of guns and accessories available to feed your addiction and supplies. Staff is straight forward and provides great advice. They even have a gunsmith on site who is currently getting my sons Mosin ready for its inaugural shooting. It’s very much worth the drive from Liberty, MO. Just so you know, you can shoot rifles (with steel ammo) and shotguns along with your pistols. Great vibe going on at this place!
Skife: The only indoor range worth going to in the area. I've been coming up to TTD for years. Staff is great. If you're experienced with firearms or if you're a beginner, this is a nice place to practice. If you shoot often, memberships are worth it. If not, their punchcards for using their range is also worth it if you are the type to go shooting every now and then.
Doc A: "Mr. Wen” (actually Wenhao Ma).. AKA the areas worst gunsmith.Stay away, other legit gunsmith options locally.Charges 4x over other local licensed gunsmiths, makes no commitment on when you work will be completed. If you want quality work, look elsewhere.Unfortunatly the gunsmith tennant will likely cost the fine staff at Target Time customers not knowing Mr. Wen rents his space. To be clear, Gun range is ok, gun sales are also ok here. The Target Time staff is courteous and knowledgable and Selection is great.But.. There are several other gunsmith options in the area you will easily find via google.
Dan Gooden: I went in less than 2 weeks before Christmas and was able to buy a matching pair of AR15's for my sons. It took awhile to look at all of the options, Dave was nothing but patient, informative and enjoyable to work with. This is the cleanest, best stocked, friendliest gun shop I have ever been to. The range is well vented, monitored closely, can't ask for any better. Fo yourself a favor and go check them out.
Jackie Long: Had a party all set up with 6 guys and 3 lanes. They closed early that night and didn’t bother letting us know until we showed up with our party. 4 of the 6 guys came from the Kansas side. I called 3 times in the past week to confirm my reservation.
Linda Zastrow: Everything else about the experience we had at this business deserves five stars except for the interaction we had with the gun smith. My friend just purchased a gun and when we went to try it out with the ammo we had just purchased, the gun misfired. We went to speak to the gunsmith behind the counter and after he helped with the defective ammunition, he informed us that he would be charging a 75 dollar bench fee. It wasn’t just that he was going to charge a fee for something that we already paid for that was defective, he was extremely rude. After asking to talk to the owner, everything was resolved. He was great, fixed the issue and the gun is amazing. But there is no excuse to be as unprofessional and downright rude as this employee was to us and possibly many other paying customers.
Jeff Hyde: I renewed my annual membership today because this is by far the best range in the area. I'm in here weekly and I see how the owner and employees work with and help a broad range of customers from first time shooters to seasoned vets.I think it speaks volumes about the business when you see how welcoming they are to new shooters, making them comfortable in what can be an intimidating environment.Give Target Time Defense a try, you won't be disappointed.
Thomas Taylor: Bought my first rifle at (19) guy who worked behind the counter was very informative and straightforward I respected that nothing was sugarcoated, enjoyed the service the guy that worked there was very humorous- He explained a lot of things about gun laws that I didn’t know as well made sure to let me know how important having my receipt was. I left knowing that I had nothing to worry about and was a lot more informed when I left. appreciated the experience.
Sam Sable: To call this a range is laughable at best. All the inconveniences of shooting outside with all the noise of shooting inside. Large selection of overpriced goods in the shop. Perfect place for new shooters who wouldn't know any better. Not a place for anyone who has been to a legitimate range beforeEdit: Glad to know you're just searching up peoples information cause you got a bad review.
Austin Kocher: I just shot there today. The staff was great, showed me several guns I've been wanting to see that no one else has. The range is nice, the other people shooting we're cool. I'll be back again.
Robert O: Extremely knowledgeable, and so professional. 10 out of 10 customer service. Cannot recommend this place enough! Will continue to go back. They have everything you’ll need.
Chuck Johnson: They totally had the gun range that allows shotguns. Have to have a stock insights which is pretty standard. But then you have to buy their ammo at thirty bucks for 25 rounds. You can go to Walmart and get hundred rounds for 30 bucks. what are their rounds made out of gold?
Jayvone Jones: This is a great range they allow you to shoot any kind of casing. Very friendly. But they won't allow me to shoot my FRT15 trigger.
Jamie Davis: A buddy and myself had business in KCMO. We ended up going to some gun shops while in the area. Hands Down Target Time was the "BEST". Derrick, Scotty and Dalton run a "REAL" firearm shop. No candles, no yeti merch. I went to speak with gun professional's about what they had to sell in firearms and ammo and laser's and equipment. Looking for a Gun Range and Professionals Gun People? Go see these guy's there Awesome. Don't mess with Sherman!!
Steve Sirois SR (Callsign Brewing Company): Awesome place. Great selection on ammo and fire arms. Range is well maintained and what to expect at an indoor rang.
Casey Brown: Great staff super knowledgeable.
George Ramos: Friend called and asked if they allowed shotguns at the range they said yes. We immediately headed over just to find out the range cutoff was 6:45, 7 minutes from our arrival when we had just called twenty minutes prior. Would've been nice to know the range had a cutoff over the phone instead of making the trip down.
Khyler Brown: I went in looking for 300 blk out rounds with a buddy of mine and when he informed me that they didn’t have any I asked was it possible to find some for me and he smirked and asked if I was a prince or something. Lol I had to leave before I got disrespectful but man I don’t appreciate the type of service I received. Definitely don’t recommend going if your younger than 25!
Brian’s Aquatics: Very helpful and easy to talk too

Raytown Indoor Range: what do users think?
DERRICK CLAUSEN: First visit today. Great facility. Amazing staff. Randy the range safety officer is THE BEST.
Chelsie Shepard: Nice little spot that’s open on Mondays which is great because a lot of ranges aren’t. Gary and another man (I didn’t catch his name) were super and helpful. I just bought a new gun and they offered advice and help when they noticed My boyfriend and I were having a little trouble with it. Looking forward to taking a conceal carry course as well as a gun safety class with them and taking advantage of my new membership! I would highly recommend checking this place out.
Mike Post: Gun Sales
Joel Shrader: 1st & last time there. I walked in & immediately noticed 2 customers wearing mask & 2 employees not wearing mask. Turned around & walked out.
Shay Shay: My boyfriend surprised me with a date night at the range. I was super excited to learn how to fire a weapon and eventually purchase a firearm. Google says 7pm.... outside the door indicates 8pm... we arrive at 5pm on the dot. Upon opening the door we see several people in the store and a young gentleman proceeds to look at his wrist, he isn’t wearing a watch, and spin his finger around pointing to the front door and says ‘we closed back open on Tuesday’. It was so abrupt.. we never got a word out. I wanted to ask what the actual hours were... but I feared that my presence at what I assumed to be there closing time was the reason for the abrupt response. Anywho...... down to Frontier Justice. We called ahead and their times actually match google! It’s a little farther but I doubt Ill come back here. Nice store overall. All two feet i was able to see.
Slim Pickens: Sparkle was a wonderful instructor and Gary at the front desk was a great help!!! My son and I are gun rookies and they taught us everything we need to know. Can't wait to go back.
Terrence Lewis: Love the range and instructors are very helpful.
Erica White: Wonderful staff and cool place
Nonya Biniss: Always friendly and willing to help, clean range with out ridiculous rules good functioning equipment...
Bobby Rockittt: I haven't been there in a while (my job makes it hard to) but the last time I was there it was an excellent experience. From sign in till the time I left I had a great time. The R.O. was great the shooting area was very clean, well ventilated, and well lit. My only quarrel was the price of the ammo, a tad bit high priced but that will not stop me from going back when I get the chance.
Erica Grayson: Loved it
Julia Jacobs: Both store sign and online page say they are open until 8 pm. Showed up at 6:58 and the doors were locked. I’ve been here before and had a nice experience but I’m disappointed I drove here just for them to not be open.
steven pinnock: Very nice and helpful staff. I had numerous rounds that had misfired and the staff was watching and replaced all 6 rounds that didn’t fire and complemented me on my groups and love to talk guns. Had a great time and will definitely be going back!
Raymond Parrish: Great staff and knowledgeable but when you go to the range you go to test everything unfortunately you can't here no ar15s or aks sad day when you have to drive out of city limits ):
Zachary Harris: Pretty good range, I'm glad I finally have one close to home. Range fees are pretty standard for an indoor range. Ammo and targets are higher than most places but they have everything you need including eyes and ears.

Frontier Justice: what do users think?
Kelsey Oviedo: Great selection, friendly staff.
B. Williams: The range staff is very helpful and nice. However, as I looked at the firearms, no one greeted or asked me if I needed assistance. Some staff appeared to be taking a break as other customers waited.
Mark Henre: Staff very knowledgeable and courteous. They take time to ask and answer questions.
Linda Williams: Nice store! The employees are very helpful and kind. It’s my husband’s new favorite store.
David Flournoy: Clean, safe, and they have most of what you're looking for. A little pricey though.
Dean Sheppard: My wife and daughter had a great night together on ladies night. Shooting several of my pistols and just having a great time together. The range was clean , easy to use and just a great all around atmosphere.
B F: Purchase a new firearm from them it had a damaged choke tube from the factory and they took care of it
Jerry G: Was there after an email invitation to try a new pistol... ended up leaving after 45 minutes of the worst customer service. This is my second visit and second experience with staff that are just too cool to care.As a "non-member" forget about any acknowledgment or help from the staff. Ended up waiting patiently for 30 minutes while all "members" were acknowledged and served. When finally called to the desk was told to fill out paperwork for the trial only to return to the desk and be told by the same clerk that he just gave the trial pistol out to someone else! After years of being around shooting ranges and gun shops, all I can say is that terrible treatment of customers does not equal safety, it only equals terrible service.I await you dismissive response... as you see to do for all negative reviews. Just accept the fact that you need to improve customer service.
Donald Weaver: The staff at Frontier are awesome. They are friendly, informative, and helpful. Frontier makes you feel like family. Frontier is a MUST visit.
Vickie Walker: Had some great things on sale. Sales girls were professional and helpful. Store was very nice and clean. Great experience!!
Baltis Schuller: No hassle and generally inviting atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff, well trained. Great experience.
Tim McGrail Sr.: Great indoor range. Checking in was easy for non-members. Lanes were clean and well lit. Had an excellent store with cool products. Wife bought a small CC bag. We aren't local, however, when we visit friends in KC we make it an event.
Matthew Mercer: Frontier is great. Incredibly professional atmosphere for a gun shop/range. Does take a while to do the transfer process with their added steps. It is also incredibly expensive to transfer a gun as non-member. Almost $85 dollars after tax. Not that much cheaper if you're a member. That should change. I almost always buy something else when I'm in there. A cheaper transfer fee would go a long way to drive up their foot traffic. I don't know why they don't lower it significantly and do it by appointment since they have couple extra steps outside filling out the 4473 that takes something that should take 15 min up to almost an hour at times.
Carolyn Sanderson: Was a pleasurable trip to Frontier Justice. Knowledgeable, pleasant people to talk with, fast service.
Dot Paradis: Never had a bad experience and have been treated very nice by the employee’s.
Gerald Scanlan: Great place with exceptional service
Russell Kruel: Ok experience, the salesmen weren't real pleasant to talk with.
Chris H: Clean place and friendly staff. I like to use their indoor range from time to time and have always had a good experience.
Rita Kalmus: Great class, very informative and the instructor, Bob, kept the class engaging and is very knowledgeable. Two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽
the KJF: The staff is always friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean. The pistol range offers more than enough distance for any of my shooting. I do miss their restaurant. They have everything I need and much much more.
Patrick Tedesco: Josiah & Scott are awesome to work with and very knowledgeable. Every request I’ve had has been accommodated with a smile. Will do all my future business there. Thanks for the professionalism and great customer service guys!
