Kirandeep Bajaj: A blend of very good flavors and cooking technique with sub-par ingredient quality. The Gong-Bao has a great depth of flavor with smoky peppers and crunchy peanuts working together but the chicken was either old or over cooked. The soups were great and I'd recommend egg rolls over the crab rangoons (they're really cream cheese, not crab). This was for lunch, maybe dinner will be better

Perhaps it was an off day for them - not sure. We had to add a lot of soy sauce to each dish to taste anything.I can respect that a lot of the previous reviews indicate this is a favorite for a few others I doubt that we'll be returning. This place definitely didn't leave a lasting first impression.

Jesse Rowe: One of the best Asian buffets I've ever had usually not huge on Asian food, but all the food is fresh and constantly being changed. You literally want to try everything that they have. We always try local cuisines when out of town and this is top 5 when visiting kc area. Staff is prompt and friendly as well. No complaints at all. All Things Bre: I've visited this restaurant about 4 times total. Each time I'm greeted by the lady at the front counter in a less than pleasant unenthused manner. I brushed it off because they are literally located 4 minutes from me and the food started out "ok."During my last two visits, when I asked to substitute one item for another(gladly offering to pay the upcharge) I was met with a roll of the eyes and a heavy sigh. I explained that each time I make this request it's usually fulfilled by HER! She proceeds to go to the kitchen then come back and charge me more than usual on this occasion. After looking at the receipt and noticing this I decided to bite my tongue, and hold my composure as I knew I would not be returning. Got home only to notice that my food was very overcooked. Waste of time and money. Threw it away. Won't be returning or recommending this place! Gave two stars because my first 2 visits were ok.
Derek Carter: Been coming here for years. Some of the best crab Rangoons I've ever had. I do miss living close by for the delivery but we still make it there from time to time. It's a small hole in the wall joint, but the people are friendly and the food has always been fresh. They package it well so it stays hot when you do takeout and it is usually packed well enough that everything is intact once you get home.

Matt Jeffers: I ate at this building quite a bit as a kid in the 90s. I don't know if it is same name/restaurant as it now but it's definitely the same building. The food was great back then and I returned to it about 20 years later and the food is still great! The food was cooked well and very flavorful. It wasn't dried up or luke warm like other Chinese buffets. My only complaint is the obvious roof leaks they have as the ceiling tiles are bubbly and stained.

Could not find the white rice until after. I didn't know where to look. FYI, Some regular clientele told me. It was in a rice cooker away from the rest of the food.Average food. I told him of the terrible sauce and he admitted that it was salty but refused to fix the problem. It would have been solved with a simple replacement. I don't care how many good reviews are here, but this experience, I would never spend a dime with this restaurant again. 1st and last trip here. Don't go late around close because you may get the last and it may be bad and you have no way of letting them know until the next day. My wife loves chinese food, but we'll just wait until my regular restaurant reopens.

Shari Cherri: This was the worst Chinese I've had in years. Everything was kind of gray and soggy and tasted of food that's been in the refrigerator for way too long. The beef on a stick didn't taste anything like it's supposed to. It was like they slapped a couple of strips of beef in the microwave then stuck them on a stick. The dumplings were for sure frozen. The chicken wings also frozen. The general Tso's was unlike any I've ever had before. The sauce was so dark it was nearly black. I think it's been just reducing in a steam table for weeks. Everything was hot yet nothing tasted fresh or even homemade. We were so disappointed in what we did try that we didn't even try everything. Definitely won't be ordering from here again

bob joe: Me and my boyfriend tony just got back from Texas and we wanted to try our favorite restaurant again. its been 2 years and we got the same thing-Egg rolls, orange chicken, and hsiang beef with white rice. In a couple of hours, we had to vomit our stomach still hurts from yesterday. The chicken was rubbery and some still frozen. The rice was soft but hard at the same time. The beef was rubbery and tasted like mildew. The lady at the front was very rude. We will never eat here again.
Tehe: My dad took me here after work, we got a large general tso's chicken with white. The reason why I rate this 1 star was because it gave us food poisoning. The chicken was still frozen and it tasted funny.. I had to vomit and had to use the restroom so many times. My dad complained of stomach cramps and said he couldn't eat food cuz he was sick.

guardian g: By far the worst Chinese buffet I've had to date. Service wasn't great. We walked in they handed us silver ware, said you can get your own drinks and had us seat our self. The selection of food was slim to none and what they did have looked like it had been sitting out for a while. The lou mein noodles tasted like cigarettes and most of the food was barely edible. Overall we had to leave early and get pizza on the way home.

I specifically told him that I cannot have anything to do with fish or seafood because I am Allergiic. He did not separate the. Therefore I. I could not eat any of the food they were closed and would not answer the phone The last time I've been to this place was 5 years ago. I thought I would give it a try again and a severely messed up. I paid for food that I could not eat and they did not care. They only want your money and they don't care about the customers.
