Matt Jeffers: I ate at this building quite a bit as a kid in the 90s. I don't know if it is same name/restaurant as it now but it's definitely the same building. The food was great back then and I returned to it about 20 years later and the food is still great! The food was cooked well and very flavorful. It wasn't dried up or luke warm like other Chinese buffets. My only complaint is the obvious roof leaks they have as the ceiling tiles are bubbly and stained.
Trig Stewart: We ate at the Buffet on a Wednesday. So I understand the small variety. The food that was there seemed pretty fresh albeit in small quantities. Soups were not fresh. Could not find the white rice until after. I didn't know where to look. FYI, Some regular clientele told me. It was in a rice cooker away from the rest of the food.Average food. Sub average atmosphere. I can understand a restaurant start up. But they've been here for a while yet the look is a run down diner.

Alice Porter: I use to love this place there food had always been good granted I haven’t been there for awhile and times have changed but still don’t know what happened but after today I won’t be back extremely disappointed I’d rather go hungry than eat there. It was bad enough we didn’t even want a replacement order it’s So sad to see a place that was once really good to go downhill.
All Things Bre: I've visited this restaurant about 4 times total. Each time I'm greeted by the lady at the front counter in a less than pleasant unenthused manner. I brushed it off because they are literally located 4 minutes from me and the food started out "ok."During my last two visits, when I asked to substitute one item for another(gladly offering to pay the upcharge) I was met with a roll of the eyes and a heavy sigh. I explained that each time I make this request it's usually fulfilled by HER! She proceeds to go to the kitchen then come back and charge me more than usual on this occasion. After looking at the receipt and noticing this I decided to bite my tongue, and hold my composure as I knew I would not be returning. Got home only to notice that my food was very overcooked. Waste of time and money. Threw it away. Won't be returning or recommending this place! Gave two stars because my first 2 visits were ok.
Derek Carter: Been coming here for years. Some of the best crab Rangoons I've ever had. I do miss living close by for the delivery but we still make it there from time to time. It's a small hole in the wall joint, but the people are friendly and the food has always been fresh. They package it well so it stays hot when you do takeout and it is usually packed well enough that everything is intact once you get home.

Then I moved and didn't eat it for years.Just moved back into the area and decided to see if it was still good. Y'all, it's better than I remembered. I think just because I've had so many subpar Chinese places that I wasn't expecting it to be great but it really is so good. I ordered last night and it was here in under 30 minutes, super hot, too delicious, delivery driver was nice. 10/10 I love this place and I'm glad to be back

Samuel Washington: Great initial experience, lady was nice. Ordered egg foo young. Problem started after I got home to add sauce. EXTRA SALTY....went back and this is where my experience went down. I told him of the terrible sauce and he admitted that it was salty but refused to fix the problem. It would have been solved with a simple replacement. I don't care how many good reviews are here, but this experience, I would never spend a dime with this restaurant again. 1st and last trip here. Don't go late around close because you may get the last and it may be bad and you have no way of letting them know until the next day. My wife loves chinese food, but we'll just wait until my regular restaurant reopens.

Gold Lion Chinese Restaurant worker claimed customers could not wash their hands as no customer facilities were offered. We decided not to patronize such a poorly conceived establishment.Luckily we found a full service Chinese restaurant with great food and polite waitstaff only a few miles away.

Decent size portions and quality is above average. I paid $12:00 for the meal and a bottle of water .Because the fountain drinks were out! I tried getting hot sauce from a container by the register and it was a nasty sticky mess! Corey Dye: Grill "has been broken", nothing but fried chicken. I asked to get one of the only non fried items at the regular cost since they didn't have any sort of grilled chicken. I was denied the cost reduction of $1.25 so I left without buying anything. If you don't want to make up for your shortcomings and make a good customer experience you should just close the location. I will avoid this location in the future and let everyone I know that enjoys panda to also avoid this location. ZERO STARS. ZERO STARS. ZERO STARS.
Tracy Renay: I have tried 6 different Panda Expresses. THIS PLACE GETS ADDED TO THE VERY LONG LIST OF PANDA EXPRESSES TO AVOID. What a shame, as this location WAS the absolute only one who’s food tasted good. I no longer live in the area but was passing through and decided to stop since I have yet to find any other Panda Express who’s food tastes even half way decent. Well...fair warning to all...they no longer offer most food options. They said they no longer have the “capability” to cook most of the Panda Express food options, because they no longer have the equipment needed. WHAT? Seriously? Evidently, the owner has decided to no longer provide the essential cooking implements needed in order to cook the food.

Jesse Rowe: One of the best Asian buffets I've ever had usually not huge on Asian food, but all the food is fresh and constantly being changed. You literally want to try everything that they have. We always try local cuisines when out of town and this is top 5 when visiting kc area. Staff is prompt and friendly as well. No complaints at all.
