Crystal Rice: Staff was incredible. I arrived literally a minute before closing but they were the only place that was open to pick up my dogs food & my dogs had ran out. The closing manager kept the store open so I could quickly get the dogs food. She didn't have to because I know it delayed them getting out by a few minutes at least.

Even was introduced to the cricket keeper to assist with keeping extra little devils on hand for the next feeding. I even found a few treats for my friend that was outside waiting for me but I didn't get my friend a treat just her dog LOL

The girl working the register took the time to find the right size, put it on and adjust it, etc. It was better service than you ever get most places anymore. I wish I had made note of her name. She was very personable and reflected well for Petco.

First thing...When I stepped out of the car sure enough...I couldn't believe my nose!!! then, had to squat!The see through doors opened like magic!When I walked in...omagosh!! the SMELLS!!extremely excited... immediately my nose took to the floor! Every toy, bone, antler, chewie, ball, every corner marked territory by others before me, then I ofcourse marked my own little spots just to be fair! Mom said they were nice enough to leave cleaning supplies all over just for our messes sorry!We miss my Twitchy so mom stopped to look at the cats up for adoption it was really sad, they all looked lonely, we couldn't go in the room mom didn't want to startle them...ONward with the hunt! We walked through so many aisles, looked at steps for my short legs, I got to smell all kinds of bones, chewies, clothes, toys, tried on a funny hat I didn't like so much then looked at birds and fish!! Even annoying crickets live there.It was so much fun to explore but then I saw a hooman with a white coat, they call a vet, he looked scary and I was glad I didn't have to visit him!We got me a new car seat and stuff I needed for my itchy skin and probiotics for my tummyMom says she gives 5 stars NOT ME...I'm giving 2 cause :I ⭐got to pee2⭐⭐ for my favorite duck treatsThanks!

Russell Chirillo: Cashiers and management is rude. Just spent $100 on dog food, and toys for my dogs, cashier didn’t bother to say anything about charging for plastic sack. Was to busy playing on her phone. So I bagged my own stuff just to get scolded by a cashier saying I’m giving you it free this time but the plastic sacks at 10 cents a bag. This store has always been a joke and not organized or ran right, how are you going to tell a customer that just spent $100 in your store they can’t have 1 bag for carry stuff and they need to pay for it.Petco must not being doing well financially if they can’t afford a plastic sack. This company probably pays maybe a cent for a few bags but will charge you 10 cents a bag.Petco corporate office need to let everyone of these employees go including the managers and start over. This place has always been a circus.

Jackson Cain: I recently had a service from the Grooming here at this location. We’ve had issues constantly with trying to call about questions and scheduling, no one ever answers. We have called the store number then further asked to speak someone and the person replied chuckling “yeah we’ve had multiple customers complain”. If it’s an issue, clearly it needs to be fixed. We got to the store on 5/27 @9:15 and one lady was on the phone trying to call someone while she was on Snapchat. When no one answered she was snarky with the voicemail and when she hung up, both her and the other coworker both started laughing one and said “I don’t know what she expects for us to always pickup when people call. I hope she knows I’m not answering when she calls back”. The experience was terrible and the customer service was rude and terrible. Then the one employee that was on her phone while leaving a voicemail, complained how she didn’t want to cut my dogs nails and had the other employee do it for her.

Deana W: This store is large and has few employees. I visited on May 14, and the store was out of live crickets and was not selling fish. I am a fish hobbyist and have visited this pet store often, but I have never purchased fish from them - other than individually-cupped bettas. The selection is subpar compared to other Petco stores in the KC area. I waited for 5 minutes by the fish tank containing the fish I was interested in buying while an associate was helping another customer with fish. That associate never acknowledged me and when they were finished helping that customer they went to help a different customer who had walked into the department well after I did.

Lil Sugars Reborns: This used to be my favorite place to go. I moved away but happened to be in town so I thought I would stop by on a Friday afternoon. The animals were in awful shape! The food was dried up and they were very neglected. The Crested Gecko, which needs 50% -80% humidity was at "Desert" according to the humidity gauge, the habitat needed cleaning. All the others were in bad shape also & needed to be cleaned! The fish department looked awful and needed cleaning. I walked out without buying anything. What happened to the hourly care walks Petco used to do? Does the GM not care anymore???
