Bruce Farrand: First of all this shop is a fixture in Independence, so is the man behind the counter. I priced a few different bikes today with no pressure at all. Then spent the next hour just talking about vintage BMX and bicycles in general. The selection has everything you could want.

Joe Dangelo: Rick is very knowledgeable, friendly and did great work on our old bikes. A great selection of new ones too. Answered all our questions and no pressure sales.
Jesse Cox: Love this place. Classic LBS with a fun guy who gets you in and out with whatever you need. I will be back.

Peggy Willman: Great, funny, friendly owner Rick and staff who care about the customer. This is a quaint shop tucked away in Independence. You can tell these guys love what they do for a living. Found the shop as I researched e-bikes. Reasonable prices for bikes both regular and ebike. Was able to take ebike out for a test ride. I was convinced it was for me! I bought a Gazelle Modeo T9 and absolutely love it. Thanks Rick!
Sarah Carey: Superb shop. The owner had been working on bikes since the 1970s and really knows his business. He fitted my son with his new bike, gave him advice about not loaning it out, always keeping it locked up (even for quick breaks), and how to maintain his bike. Also, there is a year of free adjustments/tune-ups. The service here is fantastic - significantly better than any big box or multi-sport store. Even though the prices may seem high, when my son outgrows this bike, it will have higher resale value since the equipment is the best.

Service by an expert in the business, that stands behind his products he sells. When buying a bike here, there are complimentary adjustments made to the bike for up to a year when brought in. Impeccable service!

Tangy Gleets: Really cool trail! It's easy to follow and maintained. A nice parking lot at the trailhead with a porta potty. I'm ready to go back! It's quite enjoyable.
Owen Smith: A very pretty trail. The (limestone?) cliffs on the side of it look amazing, and the trail is well maintained. Lots of good observation points for the lake and bog areas.
frauelephant: Well maintained parking lot. Has gate to block vehicle access to trail. Access may be difficult with a wheelchair(other trailheads to this trail do not have this limitation)
Al Risden: After biking the roads to the north of this trail access area I decided to tour the bike/hiking trail. There are a mix of paved and loose surface trails. Perfect for a mountain bike or hybrid. I'm not a street bike rider but it appears to be smooth enough for those tires too. Great tree leave scenery at this time of year. Parking was easy to see and accessible from the main road.
Tim John: Great trail. Beautiful scenery, wildlife and fairly easy. A few elevation changes and gravel pathway so make sure you wear good shoes.
