Janna Bram: I highly recommend Shatto Home Delivery. I received a mailer in the mail for their services and signed up. I ordered a weekly staples bundle and a couple additional items. I was contacted by phone to thank me for my business and they explained the delivery process.I am not big into recurring deliveries like most subscription services. That is not the case with Shatto Home Delivery. I spoke with Operation Manager Scott and he explained they do not operate that way, you are not stuck in recurring deliveries (Say what?!). You have the flexibility to order how often and how much you'd like. That's a huge perk for me and our family!On the day of delivery they couldn't deliver because of an error I made when signing up. I transposed a number in our house address and they were unable to deliver because of my oversight. Scott called me the morning after the night delivery and confirmed the address, which was my error. He went above and beyond to make sure my order was redelivered the SAME day. It was delivered with a letter thanking me again for my business and a brochure on holiday products. Way to go Shatto, you have a customer for life!

If you can't beat their prices there's something definitely wrong. You have aged buildings, less costly employees and less selection so it's not like you're over your head in overhead. Drop your prices and watch the average middle class families struggling to get by spend their food dollars at your stores instead of SkyHyVee.I like Mckeever's Price Chopper but I think you need to sharpen the edge of that Chopper before those prices get out of hand.

Boo Boo: Don't go to this store. They have super long self checkout lines and need to open more self checkouts. Also, their main aisle is too crowded with bakery tables. It's too exhausting shopping there anymore. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, but keep going there if you love super long self checkout lanes and a crowded main aisle to even get to the long checkout lines. Some rude employees too. This store isn't worth it. Also higher prices than other stores, even with the cost of goods and inflation. Go buy your grocery list at another store this week and you will see the difference in your grocery bill. Hyvee is called Hy (high) vee for a reason!!

Stephanie Smith: I had a large delivery order misdelivered. Received someone else's large order, they received mine I am assuming. I asked the employee over the phone if they delivered the order that was sitting on my porch for near an hour to the other customer, and she told me Don't worry, they checked through the order and replaced anything that felt warm. I talked to a manager about this, and was completely disregarded. This is unsafe food handling, and is very concerning. Both orders should have been reshopped. I don't trust food that has been in another customers care. And I don't want my groceries sitting out that long.Called corporate, they said they would find out what happened and get back to me with a solution in 24 to 48 hours. It has been almost a week and I have heard nothing. This was a $170 order, and the other customers order was even larger.This entire situation is very disappointing. I will not shop there again.

Either they don't have enough product to restock or don't have employees doing the restocking on sale items. They are running a Fri-Sun sale, went shopping at 6:30 this morning and majority of sale items were out of stock! Should just call it a Friday half day sale! The quality of their produce has been declining while their prices are going up. Just not seeing the benefits of shopping here much anymore. And I don't see the point in having several self checkout lanes if only one out of 5 or 6 is available. Either put more than one cashier at the registers or make more than one self checkout available.

Solid Pollywog: Unforgivably unsafe from ice. This company has it’s forgivable issues. The one I say is unforgivable is the conditions after it snows. If it snows on a Sunday there will be nothing but ice everywhere until it melts naturally by Friday. I’ve seen this place be a total ice rink for a week after it has snowed on occasions. They send snow plows in and push piles of snow around and completely ignore the ice. They don’t plow between the trucks so climbing in or out of one is super risky. I’m surprised no one has been hospitalized because it really is that dangerous. Can’t say how many times I’ve fallen or seen someone fall. People are too afraid to speak up. Management typically doesn’t walk the yard otherwise they’d see how bad it really is just after a few inches. It’s not the first time I’ve seen safety coming LAST in a work place but I’ve never seen such a dangerous issue be so blatantly ignored. The safety of the people should come first. As it stands with the ice issue it’s been a problem for a very long time and no one here looks forward to the winter months because of it. Would it kill them to spread ice melt and scrape up until it’s gone? There’s just no excuse other than being cheap or lazy. I’d love to give a better review but because of the constant ignoring of the issue every snow fall, even one star is being generous. Honestly if the owners see this review SHAME ON YOU. Someone who does the absolute minimum for safety doesn’t deserve to stay in charge. If you’d change this one issue it would be a safe work environment, rather then the least safe place to work I’ve seen. It isn’t too much to ask that there be a safe pathway for employees to get to where they need. PERIOD!
