I Am Remnant: So glad my child will not be attending this school next year. From the things I'm hearing from my child some of the employees might be a bit racist. The schools liaison acts like a stalker. Referred us to the courts because my daughter has missed some days. My child told me that some others kids that don't come to school hardly ever and they are Caucasian. But if she misses days from being sick or doctors appts it's a problem! Police shows up etc. My daughter has bad knees. And no one would listen to her until I took her to the hospital and she has a syndrome that affects her knees. She's still getting F's in gym. And then they claim she missed a whole month of school, how is that?! If that was true. How is it that it took the whole school year just about to report it. Smh. And also instead of the schools liaison calling me about absences that's occurring because of her appts because she sees an occupational therapist every week she calls my housing manager which stated if my daughter doesn't attend school then we can get kicked out. Good job Bingham! GOD bless as well! Prayer changes a lot trust me!

chloe williams: Nowlin is the worst school in independence I would advice you not to let your children go to this school.They take your hoodies from you and you have to wait till the end of the day to get it and sit in a freezing cold room all day.There are also cockroaches everywhere it’s nasty. The school food is nasty, they don’t let you go to the bathroom most days.the students are disrespectful and bully people. Too many fights at the school. Inappropriate language and behavior. The teachers and staff are rude and are not fair to others they favor and are rude to most kids. Mrs. j Miller is a horrible teacher. DONT let your CHILD GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Minney Family: The staff is horrible in regards to bullying. I withdrew my daughter out of Nowlin at the beginning of last week and the counselor just called today. She left a message stating she couldn't understand what my message said but I left more than 1 message. I didn't bother calling back as that message was left over a week ago. Most of my daughters teachers were great though. She had 1 teacher that I won't name that wouldn't even let her leave the class to use the restroom which made me angry as all her other teachers complimented her behavior. My daughter will not go back to Nowlin, she will be homeschooled from now on. I hope the staff learns to handle bullying better than they do now and to return calls in a timely manner. It's ridiculous that I didn't get a call back until after I withdrew her. Good luck to any parents that have students in this school or will be in this school for 6th grade.
e: I would say that my experience here has not been great. I recently witnessed some safety issues that need to be fixed. This school does not handle bullying very well. The teachers are OK, but overall could be better.

Kathy Chambers: Amazing school and the teachersbare great
Zach Batzold: When I went here I loved 5th grade (5-1 classes) but 6th grade was really rough I didn't like most of my teachers except ms.short she was awesome and I got picked on because I wasn't outgoing and I was overweight. The worst part the dental check up people pulled all of my PERFECTLY HEALTHY baby teeth.
