Robert Waterworth: I visited this place with my brother during the pandemic. We were told they wouldn't serve is until we put a mask on. So we go get our masks and proceed to order. While waiting for our food a gentleman walked in and they gladly served him without a mask. I was so disappointed and it ruined any appeal the food would have had. The only difference I could see was that the gentleman without a mask could speak Spanish.... Lol update the restaurant has been shut down. I called asking about placing an order. The woman said we've been closed over a year and once again was very rude and hung up on me. Horrible horrible horrible business I wouldn't suggest them for anything other than a public toilet. Horrible horrible business...

Mario Mora: One of the few places I’ll go for Hispanic food. The tacos are amazing, and the staff is really great. I’ve bought a few things from the store attached to it, and there’s a nice variety of things there I can’t get anywhere else.
Jenniffer Lindo: The best baleadas I have had in a long time!! Only giving it a 4 because the sopa marinera con coco was not good at all since they add some other cream stuff to it el pollo dorado was very crispy but really dry inside other than that the salsa is to die for. The staff is so humble and kind. I definitely would recommend eating here if you like different types of Hispanic food!

AR: Pretty good store. There is a lot packed in there for how small it is, so if you are scared of tight squeezes and crowds, I'd probably recommend you steer clear. They tend to have really good deals on limes (12 for $1) and meat is reasonably priced. Bread is always fresh and delicious, though produce can be hot or miss on the freshness scale for some.

Real discount but great quality... unlike some places like... uh hum 🤔 next door where you get cheap prices and the quality of the fruit is low key rotting before you buy it so it literally goes bad in the next 2 days!Nah Torito's produce is top quality for bulk pricing!Like the cabbage for instance be something like 3lbs for $1 as to everywhere else it be almost $1 per pound.They most definitely do be having a plethora of different types of peppers 🌶 here...If a recipe calls for a rarely used pepper, I go str8 here bc I know I will,more than likely find it here!Side note:Great meat for grilled tacos 🌮 😋 The diezmillo be fuego! Ask for it (preparado) prepared and they will season it for you right there, so that way it's ready to go str8 on the grill!They also sell beautifully made piñatas 😍I paid $45 for my niece's Huge Hello Kitty piñata... Alison Barnes: I had been to the one in KCK several times before and loved it, but I had always heard the one on Independence wasn't as good, so I never tried it even though it's 5 min from my house. Well, I sure am glad I was desperate for tacos in a pinch last week, because this San Antonio is exactly as delicious as the other one, and the people who work here are just as nice. Don't knock it just because it's on Independence Ave - you never know what you'll find in the most unlikely of places! There are a lot of other good places around here, too!

El señor que prepara los tacos nos dijo que si eran para llevar si nos los preparaba pero ella muy groseramente le dijo que no que ya no tenian que preparar mas! Visito este lugar muy frecuentemente pero el servicio del personal no es tan agradable.
