Toni Chiesi: The lady who works here is RUDE. The dryers are extremely old and eat the quarters often or get stuck. The machine ate 3 of my quarters and I just asked for them back and she took my last quarter and placed it in the machine and refused to give me the others for the time I needed. Needless to say, I had to go to an atm to get out more cash. This has happened once prior and the GUY who works here, just opened the machine and handed me those quarters that were sitting there stuck. He's nice but she's rude. I come here weekly for two years and only have a problem with her. I will NOT be back after today. Ridiculous

The people who own it are an older couple whom I do believe are Chinese and they're always SUPER nice, sweet and extremely helpful.... The only thing that sux and it's not even their fault, is that I've gotta walk to them lol so once I get another vehicle, even if I move away from the area I'll be coming here to do all my laundry needs.... That's unless of course I move into a place that's got a washer and dryer connection lol
Tink Schrock: It's not that bad of a laundromat, especially for the location. The washing machines work good and are fairly cheap compared to the other laundromat I used to go to before I moved. I'm sad that they don't offer free dryers if you wash your clothes at their location, but I suppose $0.25 for 7 mins isn't too bad whenever they're washing machines are cheaper. So I suppose it evens out

M B: Today was my first visit to ST Coin Laundry in Independence MO. I had some heavier/thicker clothing items to wash so I decided to give it a try. The mature Asian lady who works there politely greeted me with a friendly smile and asked me if I needed help. She pointed quickly at several empty washers that were available. She also made sure I did not overspend my money on a washer that was indeed too large for my items. Once my clothes finished drying the mature Asian man who works there saw me preparing to use two of the dryers and he kindly handed me a basket so none of my clothes would fall on the floor. Next, he explained the price of the dryers and showed me how to use them as well. The dryers get extremely HOT and are well worth their 25 cents per 7 minutes price! I really like this laundromat A LOT. It is a super convenient because there's an Aldi grocery store right across the street from it! I feel it is a very affordably priced and clean laundromat. I definitely would use this laundromat again to do my laundry.

Instead of threatening to throw us out while our belongings are in her machines, she could have created a better environment.She could have chosen to be a more refined, educated, personable, professional, kind person many years ago.Bait and Switch......misleading advertising. We went to this location because they show top loading washers online. They don't have top loading washers.Front loading washers smell like a fungal mildew sewer.Rely on other rewiews for information concerning the machines, lighting, cleanliness, hours and so on.Honestly, I wanted to call the police, but my spouse & I don't need more stress. We are seniors visiting Kansas.AVOID THIS PLACE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.Pray for this creature.But, do business elsewhere.
harmony tyndall: Does exactly what you need it to do. I have never had a problem with doing my laundry there. I have even washed my clothes and brought them there to dry when my dryer was broken and nobody said anything about it.
M K Platt: Excellent experience here, all relatively new equipment that worked so much better than other places I've visited. Washers that really work to get your clothes clean and driers that actually dry a load of towels or jeans in under an hour, almost makes laundry fun. A clean restroom for customers' that need it, arcade games and pop/snacks vending, even an ATM for those that may need just a few more quarters. And a very friendly and helpful attendant to help you should the need arise. About the only thing it needs is a bar serving ice cold beer while watching the game on the big screen TV. Nine out of 10 in my book. When I need to do laundry, this is my choice to get the job done.

Dryers left my clothes all smelling a little musty...I don't normally need to use the laundromat...but when I do next time, I know I'll be going somewhere else.

Jeff Eakins: This place deserves zero stars or negative Stars me like a lot of other people have a problem with their dryer, when I came to dry my clothes she would not allow me to do so. I will never come back to this place I will never recommend this place I will tell people to avoid this place at all costs. Weirdest person I've ever met in my life
Amanda Jarvis: Attended was horrifically rude for no reason. The coin machine was broken so I asked her if she had change. Instead of answering me she yelled at me that she’s closing in 45 minutes (two whole hours before the posted hours on the door). I politely said that’s fine I just need to dry, my dryer just broke. She immediately starts yelling asking if I can read. I did indeed seen signs but to be honest they weren’t clear and I chocked it up to both English not being the writers first language and shortening phrases to fit the sign. I’ve never heard of a laundromat WITH dryers not allowing customers to use said dryers unless they also use the washer. Ridiculous.
Trevor Bies: The lady who owns this place really brings out that old stereotype, an angry Asian lady. I don't know why she is the way she is but she tries to correct me everytime I am doing something. She also yells lol. For no reason when explaining things, it's actually amusing to me. But she is very rude as the other reviews say. Today, her dollar/coin machine was broken(it probably always is) so I asked her if she had any change and all I got was her rolling her eyes and answering my like I'm stupid. She also yelled at me because my soap exploded onto my hand while loading a washer lmaoo. That didn't affect anything at all besides get my hand sticky and she momentarily freaked out. Alot of the machines are broken here all. She has stickers on everything saying "don't use" or "don't slam, fragile" or "light soap". It is a bit ridiculous that she hasn't repaired the machines or replaced them.
Jill Solomon: My differently-abled son and I were using the equipment one afternoon. There were perhaps two additional customers there.We were polite, quiet and respectful of the establishment. At 6:15 when we were almost finished folding our garments, the attendant/owner came over and said, “People are just texting on their phones! I have to get home, too!” I was surprised because it was obvious we were almost finished and it was only 6:15. I asked when they closed. She said they closed at 7:00. Itold her we would most definitely be done by then. We finished up and carried laundry out to the car. It was 6:20. I let her know we were leaving and would not be returning. She replied, “Good”. I felt she was not happy I had my son with me who was perfectly behaved and assisting me as best he could.This owner is rude, disrespectful and in my opinion, in great need of a training in Customer Service and compassion training. She evidently does not want the differently- abled in her shop. People should avoid this business for that alone. Shame on her! We will go elsewhere when necessary and we highly encourage you to do so, as well.
Lyric Harper: Extremely rude and hateful owner who likes to dictate how you do your laundry and fall you around until you can’t wait to leave. My advice is to go to someone who actually values having you as a customer.

Sure the dryers aren’t free, but I’ve been to places where the dryers are free and they barely dry. The lady is very helpful and keeps this establishment clean and all the machines work great! She is “no nonsense” but that’s the main reason her place is so clean! I would recommend anyone to come here if you are interested in some good straight to the point service!! :) She has always been very helpful. She even offers the service of cashing your clothes for $1.20 per lbs.

I was able to get all the things washed that I needed in one larger washer machine and dryer. And thanks to you for offering wifi, I was able to get all this done, while still working and not calling out. Your employee, Thasiah, was an ABSOLUTE pleasure. she a sweetheart and so so so so helpful with all the questions I had on where to go, what to use and how things worked. She was very patient with me and definitely helped turn my stressful start to the day into a positive happy one.This place is extremely clean and you can tell they take pride in their facilities and how they help their customers! Melissa Neustifter: So I went here for the first time this morning. Long story short I have been dealing with some medical issues and I had gotten behind on my laundry. I was having a good day and decided to come here and knock it all out at one time. The lady that was working here today went over and above to be friendly and helpful to every single person that walked in. She was a blessing to me just being able to experience her positive attitude, her warmth and kindness. I made sure to tell her how she helped make my day. 💜 I don’t know who owns this place but you have an Angel working for you!!

Cody Davis: Black shirts have soap spots from not washing all the way. Used a big enough washer and same amount of soap as I do at my normal laundry mat. Wow, no public restrooms? Laundry can easily take over 2 hours so access to a restroom seems like a no brainer'. Also no sink to wash your hands, rinsing out your detergent cup etc.

Stop pulling one item at a time folding and hogging the carts. This review isn't about the company but the people. Even in the other reviews people are saying they spent hours there...taking up space.
Gina Brown: The plus side is that there was plenty of machines to use. I didn't have to wait. The negative side is NO attendant, The bathroom is locked,all I wanted to do was wash my hands. And people aren't picking up their own trash.

Crystal Brown: This place is very up-to date. You can download an app to add money and control ALL the machines. You are able to use coins but the app is very nice. The laundry mat is clean and does have someone on site. It does get busy so try not to go very late. Doors close at 10 P.M.
Kylie Beeley: Terrible service !! Machines weren’t working when they should have had a “out of service signs” the worker aksed my 4 year old nephew if he was raised in a barn because he was holding the door open and she didn’t like cold air coming in for a SECOND !! She gave off racist vibes !!

Shorti: I have to say, this place has dilapidated substantially for only being in business around 10 years. Sure the price for using the washing machines is reasonable, (if you are able to find one in working order) but the peutrid stench of stagnant water that has been standing in at least 2 of these machines, for God only knows how long, is almost unbearable. I am hesitant to use any of these machines to clean or dry my clothes, as I am almost certain by looking at this rotting, thick, bubbly-water in these washing machines, that neither of the other machines in this facility can be clean enough to wash someone's clothes properly. I would strongly advise going somewhere else and possibly spending an extra $.50 to wash if you actually go to the laundromat to wash your clothes. I feel like instead of cleaning your clothes here, you would contaminate them.

The prices are great and the have a nicely stocked store attached to the laundromat. I was worried by reading previous reviews but I'm glad I stopped in and tried them out. They are making tons of changes to the place. Stop in and support.

I dropped off $17 worth of my laundry and got a call from Christy that black bail polish was in my wash and had ruined most of my clothes. I have NEVER purchased black nail polish nor do I ever use any kind of nail polish. This bottle was NOT in my laundry when I dropped it off.The owner had no remorse, not an offer to refund my $17 or pay for damages.DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDRY!!!!
