Alyssa Lin: I went in with my large family and had the worst experience. I knew it would be a massive order as my family has 12 people so I called in the morning to see if I should place an order first. The lady was curt and basically said no just come in. I was rushed and stressed at the register because of their disorganization and as my family was trying to find a seat the hostess was pushy and rude. She interrupted my family members multiple times to “shush” them or tell them flat out no about trying to understand her seating arrangement. Then tried to put the responsibility of the busser on us. Saying multiple times “you guys are a big party and it’s usually mandatory to tip the busser”. I had already tipped at the register, 35 dollars as my order was over 200. So I was not thinking to also tip in cash as I already tipped. We decided to leave a dollar as it was the only cash we had on hand. As we were leaving she proceeded to wave and hand the dollar back to my underaged daughter after we all had left the building and say “you can keep it” and saying “we don’t get the tip from the front.” Well why did I tip then? I have never had any issues with any other gates in Kansas City and only this one. I would not recommend going based on the service and that you will likely leave with a bad taste in your mouth due to yeh customer service.

Highly Favored: Went in with my 2 kids. When they asked our order, my kids hadn't decided on what to order. I asked for a moment. I also let a man cut in line so I wouldn't hold up the line. When I was ready. The fat white chick was on her phone. The black chick was standing, then everyone decided to talk to the men in the kitchen (not work related). I waited patiently, so i decided to leave. I called to speak to a manager and was hung up on. At that moment I realised why I can count on 1 hand how many times I have ate gates. It's entirely too ghetto the customer service is horrible.

Sunshine Bee: Bimbim pap's the word! I've always wanted to try a little taste of Seoul and I found it in Kobi Q. I was taken by this little resto with very nice ambiance and the food is just SUPERB! I'll be coming back for dinner and the ambiance sometime soon. I highly recommend it for couples who are in for comfort food! Highly, highly, Highly recommended!

kayla nguyen: I wish I saw the previous review of someone having a cockroach in their water before coming.. but my personal experience I think the tofu stew (S5) was really good but I asked for the beef option and there was barely any pieces of meat, maybe it’s supposed to come like that but most of my bites were just the tofu. Service was average, they did what they had to (bringing in food and drink we ordered) but nothing extra like filling up our waters, or asking how we are doing. personally, I think this place is better than choga by the quality of the food, but nothing tops kbbq that I experience back home in Dallas.

Cody Sun: I’ve never had a complaint at this place until we went in this past Thursday. According to the Kansas City Star, Chosun had 8 priority healthcode violations as cited by the Kansas Department of Agriculture during a December 8th routine inspection in 2022. As we were being served our waters, one of our friends found a cockroach in their water. We promptly addressed it with our waiter who changed out the cup. Needless to say, this was totally unacceptable for any establishment. I understand mistakes happen with healthcode violations, but one would hope this establishment would have learned something from their previous 8 violations. Cockroaches are notorious for being carriers of bacteria, and the cleanliness and sanitation at this establishment is highly questionable. We will never be coming back.

Coley Mays: I have never had Korean bbq. I also have never cooked my own food at a restaurant. It was such a fun and unique experience. The food was great quality. Got a huge variety platter. The staff was super friendly and if not busy will help you cook your food. I’ll try it again sometime

Once we figured out what we were looking at on the menu , the experience was enjoyable . Service was very good and atteneded to our needs promptly . Rhonda Mattson: I've been there twice, once by myself and once with two other adults, a toddler, and an infant. It is a small place but we got sat immediately. Both times I felt like service was very good with the wait staff being very attentive. When by myself I ordered off the regular menu but with the group we did the BBQ. Portion sizes were large and I took home leftovers the first time after ordering a noodle dish appetizer and an entree. We got a combo meat tray that was supposed to feed 3 to 4 people. The 3 of us were able to finish it off but had leftover appetizer and the salad that came out.The place was clean and they did well with the toddler. They offered to put out diaper bags out of the way so when the food came out there would be room. I saw a lot of kids there as we left so definitely family friendly.Kid-friendliness: It can be loud since it is a small place but the staff was friendly towards the kids and there were a lot of toddler aged kids in there the day we went.

Joomi Bobbett: I like their foods but how they serve is not worth for how much I paid.Also they just added 18% of tips which was almost $60 automatic since we were 11 ppl.They never came and checked on us so we had to go grab one of them and ask for additional orders.And all servers had sad faces and they were grumpy. I wouldn't pay even $1 to their service.The manager need to train them better for customers. Paid over $400 for poor service and I am not a happy customer.

I thought they accidentally bring cold noodle soup and double checked in twice with different servers….. the noodle came out when we were almost done eating, but my purpose was to eat with the meat…————————————————-Also, once if the server asked us if we needed refill and I told requested two dishes to be refilled.. then other server brought us check and never been refilled…All the servers are really nice but it wasn’t flowing… food was okay.. nothing special.

The bills came before the last of our food orders.Wait staff clearly didn't care about his tip as our party size meant it was automatic 20%. Very slow taking orders and was very late at taking drink orders. Ordered 2 appetizer and he got it half right, brought out a seaweed salad instead of the cucumber salad that was ordered. Didn't stay around for us to let him know that wasn't right and it was much later he came back to do any orders. All the food orders came at different times, some were done before others even served.The food - i will say the crab salad was really good. Everything else was not great. Seaweed salad was nasty. Garlic Mama was ok, but really lacked flavor. Spicy bbq pork cakes were spicy and extremely salty. The rolls were ok.Korean bbq is truly delicious, but unless you like horrible service that's very very slow and loads of salt, go elsewhere.
