Mel French Krawl: I ordered online and ahead to pick up my order. The lobby was closed when I arrived so i had to wait in line with everyone else. Whats the point if ordering online. The items I purchased were great.

Anissia Declerck: I sent my husband there to get me a smoothie so I could drink my veggies instead of eat them. Ever since I’ve been pregnant it’s been hard for me to eat anything except fruit. I thought they closed at 9 turns out on Sundays they close at 8. We both felt terrible but I really wanted it & he was determined. The guy was happy to take his order through the drive through. I’m not saying go there last minute by any means because obviously that’s rude but it was really nice to hear about good customer service. That rarely happens anymore these days. Wish we had his name because he deserves a raise!!

The manager or whatever handling the shift change looked unprofessional. Very Slow even though no customers inside! Requested foam got plastic. They were prioritizing door dash orders over drive thru customers . Will go to the 39th location from now on even though lessconvenient location.. Never had bad service at that one.

susan stribling: OMG I love this place! I'm a creature of habit and always get the same thing, the Angel Food. It's strawberrys and bananas, turbinado with low fat milk. But once I ordered my drink as a slim. This is when they use Stevia instead of turbindo. (Turbinado is a fancy name for sugar. Although its not processed, its raw. Think brown crystals) The woman at the drive through window told me to taste it and if I didn't like it she would make me something else. She also said the options are endless. I could do no Stevia but only half the sugar or no sugar at all. She also told me in the summer the fruit is naturally sweeter so it could taste sweeter. My recent step out of "the box" is I add raspberries. Add in's are extra ($2) but it can be fruit or supplements like protein powder, collagen, vitamins, prebiotic etc. And alot of times if you add 2 then the 3rd one is free. I usually add raspberries, collagen and protein. Smoothie King is as healthy as you want it to be. Just because they serve it doesn't mean it's totally good for you. Most regular flavor combinations have the turbinado sugar unless notated. The sugar in mine equals that of a soft drink. But I'd rather have it in this fruity cold frosty drink. I look at it as it might have the sugar but it also has the fruit and benefits that I really don't get anywhere else. I also usually get it as a meal replacement. They have a rewards program with a kiosk to scan everytime you buy you get points. And they transfer to money off a purchase. Also the have Styrofoam cups, which is a total game changer for me in the hot and humid summer days of the Midwest. So I advise to give it a try. Actually go in to the store and most are glad to help you find something you like.

jackson trejo: As a Independence resident I love to consistently read through reviews of local shops and restaurants and see other peoples inputs. Today I happened to interest myself in a specific review for dragonfly that was left by a Independence center employee about a young worker at the Dragonfly Teazone. I don’t normally invalidate other peoples experiences at dragonfly however I felt this was necessary. The employee that he was talking about in his review, “young asian girl,” is genuinely the hardest and most precise worker at dragonfly and is the one I prefer to make my drinks. Basically, I wanted to say if you saw that review do not let it determine your opinion on Dragonfly nor the employees which work there because both are amazing. Also if you want to tell the owner to be professional don’t spam a single review on three different accounts to bring a local small businesses reviews down. Can’t wait to come back and get my regular made!

S K: Smoothies are fine. Don’t sign up for the App or Text Alerts. You’ll get spammed with tons of ‘offers’ that are very difficult to use. You’ll get a text with an offer, so you order, then the employee will have to send you another text after you get to the window to send you a barcode, that they need to scan in order to redeem the offer. Needs work.This causes huge delays in the drive through.

Today we sat in pick up line for almost 20 minutes past our pick up time. The workers saw us sitting there through the drive- thru window. My daughter walked inside to ask about our drinks. Both workers were on their phones and told her they didn't bring our order to us because of the weather 😒 It was raining. My daughter walked in and out with our drinks and was barely wet.If you offer order ahead pick up your employees should be prepared to walk out no matter what the weather.

The lions mane is better but still tastes more like protein powder than fruit. The orange you lion was really good though probably because it is only fruit and no protein garbage. By the way these smoothies are $10 a piece. Overpriced garbage.

That's not a great customer experience and it also makes me worry they aren't paying staff adequately.

Being from out of town, Google offered an easy 5-minute walk from Raphael Hotel and safety was not a concern. Nekter was impeccably clean, folks were nice, and smoothie was outstanding. I’ll be back!
