Teresa Thomas: It's Sunday and was out celebrating Moma Faye's 81st birthday, her restaurant of choice because baby the manager, round rude gentleman I would have left! The chef & our waiter was the bomb. We even got the drums. If he's this rude on the Lord's day to customers, no wonder he can't open tomorrow because of staffing. He's rude! 4-9 isn't long enough for you to have no customer service with your tone, actions or facial expressions. I will not return.

Frances Meeks: We had reservations for a Birthday celebration at 6:30pm. We were there on time as reflected in a bar bill receipt that read 6:19. We did not leave until 8:45pm. We were sitted at 6:50. We waited 40 minutes before we got our salad. We were serviced our meat before our rice. The food order contained errors. When we complained to the management, they said our party was not there on time. The customer service went down hill from there.

J Bern: I ordered the fried chicken curry and it came out quickly and was very tasty. The waitress was very nice. Their drinks are non refillable and water bottles will cost you $1 each but you are able to bring your own drink! I would recommend this place for smaller groups of 4 or less. It looked like there was a sweets shop in the same building, unfortunately they were closed when we went.

James: This is officially my favorite restaurant in KC! The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, with beautiful art on the walls and lots of natural light. Everything on the menu looks amazing and was obviously curated by the owner with a lot of care. The salmon onigiri was a great starter, the shrimp and calamari were so fresh and cooked perfectly, and the sasadango dessert imported from Japan was light and refreshing. The person who served our food was so nice and gave us recommendations for our food, which I really appreciated. This is a great place to go if you want fairly priced, delicious food that won't make you feel heavy afterwards. I feel very happy knowing I supported a small business and an owner who has very caringly brought fantastic and fresh Japanese cuisine to KC.

Fray Patton: Staff was very upfront that the wait would be long when we got there, and it was well worth the wait. The atmosphere was really lovely, and the food was delicious. I had one of their bento boxes and I enjoyed it immensely. It was very filling and a great place to connect with my friend so close to home.

Blake Photos: At first, I was served the wrong meal. Then they brought me what I ordered. It was terrible. I took one bite and told the waitress I didn't like it. She took it away and never offered me another meal or alternative. I watched the rest of my party eat while I sat there. Got the bill and was charged for my full meal even though I didn't eat it. They had one of their employees bring it to me right away. I really appreciated this as opposed to just being offered a refund for the item. Will definitely be ordering again!
