Alex Westendorff: They need investigated! The routinely do illegal things. They turned my heat off with 5 kids and a newborn, twice! I was a month back and wife was on forced maternity leave. They do not care at all and will turn them off illegally. In MO when under freezing they can't do that, yet they have and do daily. Also have a power line hanging in my back yard they haven't fixed, and customer service is a minimum 2 hour call to reach someone. You would think scamming people everyday, they would have staff. Terrible.

saiyan warrior: Company is absolute garbage and is stilling from the citizens of Independence. Some how even when you use less electricity that last month you bill still goes up. Less than a 1000 Sq ft house (about the same as my old apartment) and I've got 400 plus electric bills. I never had one over 130 when I was with kcpl/evergy. There is no customer service, they intentionally do not answer the phones when called and when they do they dodge the question and lie to you. I have cameras all over my property and they said they sent a reader out every month. This is not true ive lived here for 2 years and seen 2 meter readers the entire time and both the bills that they sent someone out where cheaper than the bill that had what they call "assumed usage". This company is build to screw you and nothing more.
Luci Lux: Extremely unimpressed. Very unprofessional. Doesn't know what their doing at any given time. And I don't even HAVE power yet and already not impressed.
Aaron Porter: Plan to spend at least 30 minutes on hold every time you call. They admit that their website and system are both incredibly broken.
Timothy Wolff: Power went out last night due to the storm supposedly. The power survived the onslaught of the storm around 615PM and didn't go out till 15 minutes after it had passed. Anyhow, I saw a crew working on it around 2AM and was thinking that it would be restored shortly after. I woke up at 6 AM and the crew was gone and no power restored. Evergy would work throughout the night to restore power to their customers. Still no power before leaving for work at 7AM.

Their pricing is ridiculous and they don’t even produce their own power, they’re just a middle man between you and other providers meaning you pay extra.

Shorty 1994: Store has lots of plant varieties. Although when you ask the workers about plants they are not knowledgeable about plants so usually they can't help you find what your looking for. Customer service depends on who's there really at checkout.

I heard the page go out and I waited then waited then waited. 15 minutes later no one still has not showed up. Asked for another page and waited 5 additional minutes with no hardware associates appearing. I’m trying buy hundreds in power tools. Locked the tools up and no employees to unlock it to make a sale. 🤦

When they arrived they were super professional and they were nice enough to tell me that the fridge I ordered would not fit in my kitchen properly and they were able to take it back for me. I appreciated their honesty rather than they just setting it up and leaving!!

Collin Smith: Audrey helped me load a lot of soil and mulch tonight, she was very helpful and friendly even though it was close to closing time. I appreciate how she did it all, and I would give her a raise, she's worth keeping around. Also the girl at customer service, I didn't catch her name, but she was very kind and even said she'd help load it herself if she could leave her register. 10/10, I will be back, and if I was in charge I'd give both of these kids a raise. They helped me above and beyond what I'd expected or hoped for especially an hour before close. Both of them went above and beyond, if you want to keep them working for you, I'd be giving them raises. I don't work for your company, I don't know what you can do, but PLEASE do the best you can for those girls. Their kindness and help made a world of difference to me, and I hope you use it as grounds to make a difference for them.

Brenda Bigelow: Employees are all pretty friendly. I visit here, 1-2 times a month, they go out of their way to see if you need anything and are good about striking up a conversation. Store is pretty well stocked and clean. I have used the online purchasing, and picked up in store and also had the curbside pick up both went smooth and quick.

I could tell it made his day better to make my day worst. I feel absolutely disgusted.

Brandon Shumaker: I'm doing this review because I feel like Multiple employees were called to the front door immediately like some organized move assuming someone was gonna steal and run out with stuff. I'm the type of shopper that comes in and out for a handful of things and always fast..maybe I scared someone? Because the vibes I got were negative and the old lady cashier acted like she didn't want to talk to me I had to tell her I have a membership! and she was still very nasty. Next time I will be more alert and listen in but I never concern myself but the vibes impacted me enough to write all this even though they probably could've been watching a real thief it still made me very uncomfortable!On top of all that fearing the safety of the stock boys that would be ordered by management to act as security if such incident was to actually happen should be reprimanded.

Brandon Alexander: Bought kitchen appliances here, and every step of the process was painful and frustrating. We were notified of delivery times and they stood us up repeatedly. We would stay home to accept the delivery and NO ONE showed up or called. Each time, we made multiple attempts to speak with someone at the store only to be endlessly transferred, put on hold, and quite frequently hung up on. It was almost impossible to get in touch with someone willing to help.

Kristi S: The employees and managers are so helpful and courteous, even with supply chain issues. They are always ready to help with questions and concerns. The customer service department is great to work with as well as managers.
Joe Oliphant: Terrible experience. I ordered a refrigerator and long story short it took four deliveries before I got one that wasn't dented. I had to drive to the job 20 minutes each way FOUR times on my days off over a three week span. I was told that I would get a little reimbursement for my time and fuel but have been passed around and around when I call to speak with a manager. I would get put on hold until the phone stopped ringing. I will never shop at your lowes again and will tell everyone I can to not shop there as well. Your customer is non existent in store and over the phone.
