The crew showed up exactly as scheduled and installed the countertop and backsplash and cleaned up before they left.

The 20-30% over budget everyone’s home building or home project goes starts right here, at a place like this. Two stars is pretty generous.

I immediately stopped the install. We talked to the owners and now we are out 6k. I would not do business with them and advise everyone not too as well.

B P: Only interested in whales. They did a big job ( 5 countertops) for me and did a fine job. As a returning customer with a smaller job, they refused to even offer a quote or return phone calls. They will only work with you if it is lucrative for them. Past relationships mean nothing, customer care is based on how much you are willing to spend. If you are looking for reliable value, then Global Stone is not for you.

I heard the page go out and I waited then waited then waited. 15 minutes later no one still has not showed up. Asked for another page and waited 5 additional minutes with no hardware associates appearing. I’m trying buy hundreds in power tools. Locked the tools up and no employees to unlock it to make a sale. 🤦

Also the girl at customer service, I didn't catch her name, but she was very kind and even said she'd help load it herself if she could leave her register. 10/10, I will be back, and if I was in charge I'd give both of these kids a raise. They helped me above and beyond what I'd expected or hoped for especially an hour before close. Both of them went above and beyond, if you want to keep them working for you, I'd be giving them raises. I don't work for your company, I don't know what you can do, but PLEASE do the best you can for those girls. Their kindness and help made a world of difference to me, and I hope you use it as grounds to make a difference for them.

Customer service told cart collector guy to help, he told me to hold on he's collecting carts..after 20mins and he's still collecting carts..I decided to return this big order and get my big refund, so I can go to Home Depot where the customers that spend thousands of dollars are more important than a few stray carts.On the other hand, if you don't need staff assistance with anything but checkout, then there is an abundance of carts, thanks to Menards putting shopping carts as a priority.Thank you, Menards. I found the same items at Home Depot for $1,300 cheaper. Without your horrible service, I wouldn't have saved money with a company that knows the customers keep the lights on..not a few shopping carts in the parking lot.

So even if they look up the stock and claim they have plenty of what you need, after you pay and go out back to get it, you'll find out they don't have it. And BEWARE when going back in for a refund because they'll try to refund you for only 1 of the item instead of the 100 you paid for and didn't get.

Janet Moore: I’m super disappointed in the quality of washing machines that Menards is not backing and just putting it off on the manufacturer. Expensive one!!! 2 DIFFERENT repair companies and the brand spanking new washing machine still takes ALL DAY to wash one simple load. It’s unbelievable that Menards/Whirlpool refuse to exchange this for something that works! Customer service has been a nightmare with the 2 companies. The one star is only so I could warn you all to do your research carefully because they will not back their washer.

Christi Hodill: I like shopping here whether I know what I'm after or poking around, I like the prices, and the staff are much more eager to help than the other big box stores. It is cleaner better organized than the other stores as wellI recently did a special order on interior stone and tile and was helped out by the manager. I have also returned a number of items and am impressed with how quickly they process it. Checkouts... again, are done properly and quickly, and call me crazy, almost cheerfully. Hard to imagine, but true. (they seem to have a younger and not so jaded crew)One quirk of the store to just look out for is the guards at the special order and bulk delivery gate entrance are very good at their job. When you exit, it feels like you are getting out on bond from a jail.

Joe Oliphant: Terrible experience. I ordered a refrigerator and long story short it took four deliveries before I got one that wasn't dented. I had to drive to the job 20 minutes each way FOUR times on my days off over a three week span. I was told that I would get a little reimbursement for my time and fuel but have been passed around and around when I call to speak with a manager. I would get put on hold until the phone stopped ringing. I will never shop at your lowes again and will tell everyone I can to not shop there as well. Your customer is non existent in store and over the phone.

Ken was amazing in meeting all of our needs for our kitchen renovation and recently our guest bathroom renovation which we just completed about two weeks ago. We described our design and vision and he came up with the right solution for our backsplashes.This is the third time that we used this store for our renovation projects and Ken and the rest of the team at the store has never let us down. This is the reason that we have continued to return to them for all of our projects in our home. Great selection, excellent staff and they truly care about getting it right and taking care of their customers.

Dusty Hammond was wonderful in helping us select tile for each bathroom that was attractive and safe for my husband. He suggested a stone work like tile that complemented the main tile and was safe for the shower and a beautiful marble mosaic that was perfect for the more magical powder room. His unfailingly good eye, close attention to our wishes and our budget and easy accessibility made him indispensable for our project's success.

When I got back home, I went to the Shawnee location and was helped by Chazz. He was knowledgeable, quick and efficient. I had not done DIY tile before and he told me about everything I would need. I live an hour north of KC. He went above and beyond by meeting me when he was going to be in the northland to help shorten my drive. I can't remember the last time I had such good customer service. Then I stopped in The Tile Shop and found just what I was looking for. Beautiful tile, but what will have me coming back for our next project is the customer service. I regret not remembering the name of the first gentleman who got me started. He was so friendly and helpful and I was immediately glad I'd stopped in. He said that Dusty would be great help for what I needed and he was certainly correct.I didn't have the biggest budget, yet they took plenty of time helping me to look at different options and ways we could try to fit the tile I really liked into my budget as an accent. The first day I took home some samples and when I went back to finalize the sale they remembered me and were just as friendly and helpful as the day prior. Some of what I wanted had to be ordered in, so a week and a half later I went back to pick up my order--and everyone was just as friendly and helpful as before I spent any money.Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, but I can't say enough about how pleasant and helpful Dusty was. I'm so appreciative of the time he took to help me with the layout of the tile in order to make it all work. Not sure when I'll have another tiling project, but I will definitely be heading straight back to The Tile Shop when I do!

Falisha Hy (Foodie Fantastic): I really really hate when a store like this with no traffic has horrible customer service at 5pm. I walk in with my 2 children and not one single sales associate greets me nor acknowledges my presence. They all make eye contact though. smh After about 20 min walking around I leave. The entire point for a store like this is to sale the merchandise which involves actually speaking to customers no matter what they look like. Its not like I can just grab boxes off the shelves. I wanted a sample but since I have a toddler in one are, my purse and a 5 yr old I just said forget it. oh well.
