When I called The Neighborhood Handyman I was pleasantly surprised when Colin told me he could help with all of this, he even price matched for me. Jessica Sanford: Well, I wanted to use this business because I had read all the good reviews, but Jason was a no show after he had told me he would stop by to give an estimate at the end of his workday. I have been trying to find someone who can do home repairs and it is really hard to find someone reliable. I guess I’ll add him to that list. It’s a shame.

Ed Kovac: I have gone through close to 5 contractors since moving to Overland Park. Then my neighbor referred me to Carpenter's Hand Man Services after she had a massive water claim with a lot of interior damage to all levels of her home. I have since used them about a half dozen times and LOVE them. They show up when they say they say they are going to show up. Will first provide a quote for the work and what that entails. Best part - the workmanship! A+! I have had wood rot, gutter issues, drainage issues from a window well, mailbox post install, interior renovations and the list goes on.The second best part is they are extremely reasonable when it comes to pricing! I have since referred them to two co-worker's who both used them and LOVED them! Finding a reliable, affordable and honest contractor was hard for me and I am forever grateful for my neighbors recommendation as I love Carpenter's Hand Man Services!

C&S Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair: We had these men come & complete SEVERAL repairs of our home that we are in the processing of selling.Repairs Made: Fixed the rotted wood around our columns in the front of the home, replaced several holes in the sheet rock & painted, replaced baseboard & painted in our kitchen, stained interior doors, replaced rotted wood trim around our garage door & painted, replaced quarter round in bathroom, & installed transition piece from tile to our walk-out basement french door. They completed other miscellaneous jobs as asked, and without hesitation.Not only did they offer a wonderful estimate, they completed the work exactly when they said they would. They worked around people coming to view our home, which was multiple times & interruptions to their work. They were extremely well-mannered, kind, and adapted as we continued asking them to complete multiple projects that were not on the original estimate. Jeremy Coonts: Jason and his professional crew have been completing projects for me for years now. Most recently they removed flooring, installed a new front door, and gutted a bathroom in preparation for a remodel. Jason always communicates and shows up for the job. His crew is always professional and pays attention to detail. His quoting process is clear and detailed with no surprises in the end. I don’t believe there is any job they can’t complete or that I wouldn’t trust them with!

Zeus Radcliff: I worked for this man for 2 days in which I was not paid because I disagreed with his unethical, and decietful business practices. I went on several jobs including one at home depot where I unclogged a toilet and was told to keep the out of service sign on the door so he could charge to replace parts and labor for work that was not necessary and work he never intended on doing instead he waited a week then came back and took the sign down and charged over 2000.00 dollars to do. Emera Sullivan: After attempting to contact several plumbers to repair our tub faucet and replace our kitchen faucet, we decided to reach out to a handyman instead. We got a response very quickly and we were able to schedule the work we needed right away. The faucet we provided was defective, which we didn't discover until it was 90% installed, but we were able to go right out and buy a new one and have it installed the same day which was amazing - we had a similar issue in the past with a different company and had to reschedule, and we were so grateful that was not the case this time.
