Malik Rob: The food here is delicious. I loved the chicken shawarma and lamb gyro. The service was just ok. I went there about 3 weeks ago order Dolmas but never received them in my bag. When I went back I still didn't receive them when I asked. Prat Kale: This place went from good to worst after pandemic. They used to serve salad with shwarma rice bowl which they don't anymore. Prices went up almost 20%-30% on every item. Quanty of bowl they served shwarma was considerably smaller size than they used to. Chicken was extemely dry. Rice tasted like Mexican rice instead of nice long grain fluffy mildly flavored rice. Falafel wrap was ok. Total disappointment.

Jean Goss: Edit in response to owner: There may be a sign on the register but I placed my card in a free standing square not attached to the register. 4% also seems higher than the standard charge of 1 to 3.5% for using a card. The food I ordered was tasty and the only employee I saw was very nice. However, there will be 4% upcharge on your bill when using your debit card. More reasons to go back to cash.

Lee Running: Update: 5/17/23. Ate here for the 1st time since last year and the new ownership appaears to be failing badly. I gave it a 5 last time, now it is a 1 ( or less). I've never seen a restaurant's quality deteriorate so greatly after a change of ownership. The gyros I got today was god awful. Less than half the meat as under the old ownership, terrible tzatziki sauce and tiny tomatos slices (slices!). Beware: this not the old Gyros Grill.Best gyros I've found in Kansas City and at a very reasonable price. Only place I go now for gyros. And quite friendly staff.

Jim Beach: Absolutely great food! We had the Dolmades, Greek Gyro and Quesadilla. #YUM 😋 Elaine helped us go over the menu after a pleasant welcome and greeting! She went over the details of particular items that we were not familiar with, the quesadilla for example, and politely helped us pronounce items after we butchered the name. Elaine was very sweet! I was in a rush as I was trying to get to work and didn't have time to finish the meal so I asked a woman, whom I thought worked there, if she could get us a couple boxes. She obliged and was very friendly. I found out, later, that she was the owner's mother. The food was incredible and I cannot wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

Behnaz n: Just to respond back, the food was ordered at your restaurant IN PERSON and I live only 5 minutes away from your restaurant.The food simply isn’t the same anymore since the original owners of this place and never will be. Quality, portion and taste wise also over priced. Ordered about $45 worth of food for two people and very disappointed. One of the orders was the Philly Gyro which was very soggy/oily and the pit bread was all wet falling apart by the time I got home and nothing close to the original Philly gyro I used to get. Portion of the food on both orders was very poor for the price charged and the rice was super dry and disgusting. Don’t even get me started on the sambusa’s that costs $10 for 4 very small pieces. Won’t be coming back for sure.

The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was exceptional and THE STAFF—Polite, friendly, and extremely helpful.We ordered the Original Gyros (Beef & Lamb) with Cajun Fries and Yellow Saffron Rice, and the Grilled Kabob Sandwich (Beef Kifta) with Greek Salad and Lentil Soup. Phenomenal, all of it! As well, we ordered the Famous Falafel, some Spanakopita, and their delicious Famous Lemonade (Blueberry & Mint). Nothing we ordered was a let down and, in fact, exceeded every expectation we had. While I cannot speak to the authenticity of the food, as I know very little, I will say again, the food was PHENOMENAL!Restrooms were clean and well maintained. The dining area clean, well organized, and fashioned in very appealing and fun decorative style.We live about 6 minutes away from Jerusalem Cafe and I can say without a single doubt in my mind, we will be returning on a regular basis. D L: HORRIBLE! Wasted $50. Kabobs were tough and mostly gristle. Kid’s chicken strips had two pieces that were raw, they put spicy sauce on kids rice and the taziki was watery. Independence location is not worth your time

Portions are filling.Gyro meat was delicious on both the sandwiches and salad. Greek salad dressing was unusual and more orange citrus flavored than typical Greek dressing, but was delicious - would definately eat again. Fries were tasty. Pita had great flavor, but was a bit dry (especially on the edges) - almost like it had been warmed for too long.Deserts were also delicious: Baklava was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. Halvah was a delight, with flavors like a plain crunchy meringue, rice crispy treat, and peanut butter combined - the light chocolate syrup drizzle was an added plus.Definately Recommend.

marcus green: I am done with this location. A couple weeks ago, I left the drive, thinking they had given me back my debit card. Not only did they NOT, but it was used to pay for the order behind me in line. The money was, however, returned a few days later.Fast forward to today. Used the app to place an order at the same location. When I went inside to pick up my order, the floor was disgusting. It was like they mopped it with supper glue it was so sticky. Although they were not busy at all, they were out of what I ordered, and somehow couldn't be issued a refund in store. I would have to call the regional office. In lieu of that, I was allowed to replace the item with another. The replacement sandwich was cold shriveled. This location is giving Arby's a bad name.

Tangy Gleets: I was never going to any Arby's again and from years ago. I was starving and I decided to take a chance.....For quick service, it was really good and served hot. Dining room was a little weird with sweatshirts on tables. I miss the pickle and peppers you could get on the side, but they did offer sauces and such. I left full and I was satisfied. Good job!

You can order online and pick up, or order at the food truck window (parked all the time at the corner of 133rd & State Line, in the BP gas station parking lot). Sharon Kennedy: Lesson learned...always check your to go order before you leave the truck. Sadly, the quality and service have gone down since my first few orders. I ordered a salad to go online and selected "no veggies" (having learned this meant "pickled" veggies, which I don't care for). When I picked up my gyro "salad," it came with no veggies whatsoever - no lettuce, no tomatoes; just a pile of meat! The next salad order was correctly made, but soggy. This time, I ordered in person, requesting a beef gyro but when I got home it was chicken. Also, I had ordered the lunch special, which comes with a drink. The server never asked which drink I wanted. I had to ask for a beverage. Her response, a curt "you need to tell me what kind you want." Not sure I will ever return.
