Jean Schmitt: One of the few places in town I could find moss rose late in the season. I know a lot of their bedding plants were already gone, but it didn't look like they carried as many of my old favorites as they used to.

Purchase 2pack of lettuce for 5.99 each and half of them where dead when I took them out. Called thinking they would exchange the dead ones... nope basically told me your snooze you lose. The nursery has been in operation for over 100 years becauase they consistently exceed expectations. A magical place to visit, the grounds are beautiful and consistently have a wide selection of healthy plants.

This is by far the most inviting, curtious, knowledgeable, equipped shop and is ran by a couple who truly love what they're doing.A lot of these shops I've noticed like to try to make you feel dumb for having questions when you're starting out. They or they like to shove product down your throat immediately.I don't mind spending money on something, especially an investment like this. But the information and explanations to their different recommendations without trying to obviously steer me towards buying something they want me to buy is the exact thing that makes me want to only shop here.Not sure if they're the cheapest, I haven't read kept track. But they are absolutely the best.

Paula Stevens: A memorial Day weekend I called at night and spoke with Ron about a lawn mower and items on sale for the lawn and he was so nice and went through everything for me. he told me to come in real early and I did and Mark was there and he helped me I told him everything wrong said and that he wouldn't be there but you know Mark or a couple other gentleman he named would be so just tell him everything. When everything didn't really go the way Ron said Mark went and spoke with someone and he got my order filled the way it was supposed to be and he helped me not only with that but also with plants and just all kinds of things and was very informative and helpful and I couldn't have appreciate it a sales representative any better than that I'm not sure if I've ever had one as good as this young man was because not only was the knowledgeable he cared.

Brandon Alexander: Bought kitchen appliances here, and every step of the process was painful and frustrating. We were notified of delivery times and they stood us up repeatedly. We would stay home to accept the delivery and NO ONE showed up or called. Each time, we made multiple attempts to speak with someone at the store only to be endlessly transferred, put on hold, and quite frequently hung up on. It was almost impossible to get in touch with someone willing to help.

Joe Oliphant: Terrible experience. I ordered a refrigerator and long story short it took four deliveries before I got one that wasn't dented. I had to drive to the job 20 minutes each way FOUR times on my days off over a three week span. I was told that I would get a little reimbursement for my time and fuel but have been passed around and around when I call to speak with a manager. I would get put on hold until the phone stopped ringing. I will never shop at your lowes again and will tell everyone I can to not shop there as well. Your customer is non existent in store and over the phone.

First Street Software.: A little pricey compared to the big box places. But always a better variety, and the plants themselves are always great. There is actually staff that knows the products as well. They actually have enough staff, that makes a big difference when you need help. 😁
Linda Harris: I bought some pots. I tried to return and was told that I had to have the receipt. I put the pots on my credit card. They were not going to give me my money back, only store credit. They could tell the pots were theirs. Why make me produce a receipt if all I am getting is a store credit???? I came home and was lucky I did find my receipt. I just thought it was poor customer service.

Brandon BoxNinja: They no longer sell any fertilizer treatments for your lawn. Not bad people but very disappointing I can't shop for all of my lawn & garden needs at one location. So I'll be shopping at Menards from now on. And just in my own personal opinion, I don't believe using sarcasm to answer my question about fertilizer products was very kind. In fact I found it rather rude. But then again maybe I just don't have the same sense of humor.
Micael: Have preferred shopping here for gardening and houseplant supplies since moving to Blue Springs a few years ago. Proximity was right, staff have been alright, and plenty of plants during growing season. Stopped in here at the end of the season for potting soil and there was an older man working. Without warning, he launched into a tirade about abortion and “killing little babies.” It was so unexpected and bizarre that my spouse and I just looked at each other like, “Is this really happening?” Regardless of where you stand on the issue, the professionalism was severely lacking. I’m just trying to buy potting soil, man. We’ll take our business elsewhere.

Bryson Cresswell: Went in to get some bulk rock and brought some rock with me to compare with what they had. I talked to one employee telling them what I was doing and he was very nice and knowledgeable. I went to the front to pay for a couple of tons and an older gentleman started yelling at me for taking rock from them and was cursing at me. Very inappropriate and unprofessional, when it was my rock that I brought. Will never go back to this establishment and would not recommend this place at all.

We took her suggestions, added our own ideas, and came up with a design we're really harpy with. Pricing was reasonable too.

R Tc: This place is a hidden gem!!! The owner was SO friendly, I was getting a bunch of veggie plants and he discounted/threw in free ones just for the heck of it. He was so nice and you can tell he does it just for the love of growing. He had his own cuttings in the greenhouses, showing where a lot of the plants came from. Highly recommend this place.

Tatiana: I cannot say enough good things about Larry’s nursery. Not only is the staff helpful and kind, but the shop itself is gorgeous and so relaxing to be in. They have an awesome selection of plants and as a self proclaimed “crazy plant lady” who owns over 20 plants (if I wasn’t in a tiny apartment, I’d have more), I can tell you that where you get your plants from matters!! I’ve been buying plants and have been gifted many plants over the years and I have never had a plant from Larry’s Nursery give me problems- no pests, all plants have survived, etc. I can’t say the same is true about other places. Get your plants from Larry’s Nursery and support a locally owned small business!

They have awesome selection, healthy/large plants, and best prices in the area that I've seen. I see several reviews of rude staff, this has not been my experience at all (and I go on Saturdays which is BUSY). I've interacted with multiple staff, including cashiers, and all have been very nice and helpful. They also have a nursery cat named Janice who is an absolute cutie.
alejandro rivera: As the elderly clerk at the counter rudely responded to my question, even before I finished asking it, about why a purchase plant had died, they do not guarantee their plants or accept returns. Perhaps they get asked that question often. Given their high prices I would expect better quality. I now only buy from nurseries that stand behind their products.
