Patrick Boatner: Cedar Built is an owner-operated shed builder, which is really a breath of fresh air after talking with other companies that just point and click on a website. Gary was pulling out his calculator and thinking about the cost of 2x4s when I asked about modifying our shed. He worked with every customization I could ask for, because they build the shed. Their prices are competitive, and the construction was generally very good.I'd be happy to do business with them again, but I'd make sure to get the specs drawn up in advance. In a few areas, it looks like they cut some corners to get things done faster. Some of the interior stud walls they added for us (a nice customization) had joints that other contractors scoffed at. The deck they built on our cabin wasn't built to code in a few ways (missing joist hangers, joists that weren't thick enough). I would suggest customers do some basic reading about building codes and ask for detailed specs, study their floor model, etc. if you're interested in getting something built to really last.I really think they're an honest company, they're just taking small shortcuts and passing some savings on to you. Any time there was a mishap, they made it right. They showed a great deal of care for my property. They also offered me lots of helpful tips for finishing the rest of my project, like where to caulk.

Paula Stevens: A memorial Day weekend I called at night and spoke with Ron about a lawn mower and items on sale for the lawn and he was so nice and went through everything for me. he told me to come in real early and I did and Mark was there and he helped me I told him everything wrong said and that he wouldn't be there but you know Mark or a couple other gentleman he named would be so just tell him everything. When everything didn't really go the way Ron said Mark went and spoke with someone and he got my order filled the way it was supposed to be and he helped me not only with that but also with plants and just all kinds of things and was very informative and helpful and I couldn't have appreciate it a sales representative any better than that I'm not sure if I've ever had one as good as this young man was because not only was the knowledgeable he cared.

Brandon Alexander: Bought kitchen appliances here, and every step of the process was painful and frustrating. We were notified of delivery times and they stood us up repeatedly. We would stay home to accept the delivery and NO ONE showed up or called. Each time, we made multiple attempts to speak with someone at the store only to be endlessly transferred, put on hold, and quite frequently hung up on. It was almost impossible to get in touch with someone willing to help.

Joe Oliphant: Terrible experience. I ordered a refrigerator and long story short it took four deliveries before I got one that wasn't dented. I had to drive to the job 20 minutes each way FOUR times on my days off over a three week span. I was told that I would get a little reimbursement for my time and fuel but have been passed around and around when I call to speak with a manager. I would get put on hold until the phone stopped ringing. I will never shop at your lowes again and will tell everyone I can to not shop there as well. Your customer is non existent in store and over the phone.

Brenda Bigelow: Employees are all pretty friendly. I visit here, 1-2 times a month, they go out of their way to see if you need anything and are good about striking up a conversation. Store is pretty well stocked and clean. I have used the online purchasing, and picked up in store and also had the curbside pick up both went smooth and quick.

I'm the type of shopper that comes in and out for a handful of things and always fast..maybe I scared someone? Because the vibes I got were negative and the old lady cashier acted like she didn't want to talk to me I had to tell her I have a membership! and she was still very nasty. Next time I will be more alert and listen in but I never concern myself but the vibes impacted me enough to write all this even though they probably could've been watching a real thief it still made me very uncomfortable!On top of all that fearing the safety of the stock boys that would be ordered by management to act as security if such incident was to actually happen should be reprimanded.

Decided on the product and went with 2 chairs, 3 chaise, 4 tables, and 1 3 seater glider.We chose cedar for the main color with chocolate for base.Turned out great, and delivery was earlier than expected.I'd buy from there again.

Olivia: This menards has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The lady straight lied and couldn't be bothered to move away from what she was doing. Expensive one!!! 2 DIFFERENT repair companies and the brand spanking new washing machine still takes ALL DAY to wash one simple load. It’s unbelievable that Menards/Whirlpool refuse to exchange this for something that works! Customer service has been a nightmare with the 2 companies. The one star is only so I could warn you all to do your research carefully because they will not back their washer.

Christi Hodill: I like shopping here whether I know what I'm after or poking around, I like the prices, and the staff are much more eager to help than the other big box stores. It is cleaner better organized than the other stores as wellI recently did a special order on interior stone and tile and was helped out by the manager. I have also returned a number of items and am impressed with how quickly they process it. Checkouts... again, are done properly and quickly, and call me crazy, almost cheerfully. Hard to imagine, but true. (they seem to have a younger and not so jaded crew)One quirk of the store to just look out for is the guards at the special order and bulk delivery gate entrance are very good at their job. When you exit, it feels like you are getting out on bond from a jail.
