Sarah Haffecke: I showed up at this location today, drove an hour one way, to get my wedding ring inspected to maintain my warranty. Both google and the zales website shows this location as open. This location is inside a mall and is permanently closed! The storefront had bars over the doors and there is nothing inside the store. We walked the mall to see if it had been moved and could not locate another storefront. We attempted to call the number listed and no answer. Also attempted to call another location and they also did not answer. It would be nice if they would update their website to show correct store information.
idek: We ordered a ring in August 2020 online and chose ship to store to this location. The ring had an estimated delivery date of 10/05/20. The date comes around and I still haven’t received any notification of it being delivered so I called the store number multiple times-no answer. I google the store location and google said it was permanently closed! I called customer service and tell them what is going on. She looks up my order and told me the ring had been shipped back (2 weeks ago!) and I should be receiving a refund in 2 weeks. First of all I was upset that I didn’t even receive an email letting me know what was going on and also that my refund would take another 2 weeks. Two weeks passes by, no refund. I call and they say the refund shows as pending. Two more weeks go by and still no refund! I call and they say my call has been escalated. One week later, still no refund. I call again and all they can say is that my call has already been escalated. Finally, December 1st, 2020, we get our refund! The first time I called the lady gave me a ticket number so I could reorder the ring at the same price. I honestly really like this ring but it’s online only and I’m too scared to reorder!
Brooke H: I ordered a ring online early October 2020 to be shipped to the store. I never got any email and out it being shipped and nothing regarding pick up. I chatted with someone on 10/30 on their website. They said that it was delivered on 10/22 to the store. So I called the store 5 times when I got off work. Rang and rang with bo answer and went to a busy signal before hanging up. I went up to the store and realized it has closed, for good from the looks of it. Completely cleaned out. So I called their customer service and they told me the same thing it had been delivered on 10/22. I told her I’m standing outside the store and it is closed and no way for me to get this ring. She said she would open an investigation. I didn’t hear anything back so I chatted once again on 11/5. Was told it was delivered to the store and the rep Karin G. ended the chat. So I immediately chatted with someone else. She started to do the same thing, I was able to tell her the store was closed and she said it’s not permanent and would have the manager reach out to me. I have a feeling I’m not going to get the ring I spent almost $2,400 on and will never be shopping here again unless they make this right. Why is corporate not aware that this store is closed and still allowing order pick up here when it is a very empty space????
Sydney Aversman: I would give zero stars if I could. I bought a promise ring, diamond necklace, engagement ring, and wedding bands from this store. First, I bought wedding bands of different sizes and someone else bought the corresponding sizes so they switched the rings without asking me. Second, my rings were stolen and now they are refusing to cover even any of the cost because they are saying they have cancelled their theft policy. Oh and when you leave the store the "professional" people behind the counter will stand there and talk about you to other customers when you leave and then when you come back in and hear them talking bad about you, they bold face lie to you and deny it. Lets just say I will NEVER buy any jewelry from this store again.
Marianne Engbarth: Go to any other jewelry store than this one. My fiance ordered an engagement ring and when it came to the day of pick up, it wasn't there. He told me that they said they didn't have that specific ring anymore (although that's what he ordered and already paid for), and until he was upset enough did an employee actually go look for that ring. Then they didn't have the ring until the DAY BEFORE he was going to propose, and when he picked it up it was a size too big. He went ahead and proposed the next day, just for us to turn around and take it back (we live in the country, over an hr away from the city). They told us it would be resized for free and that it would take 2 weeks. I get a call almost 3 weeks later, just for them to tell me that it got resized too small and that they have to send it back; it'll be another week. So here I am, engaged for over a month now, with no announcements to family and friends due to Zales' "awesome" attention to detail and promptness

Phillip Ross: Don’t be FOOLEDDon’t be fooled into thinking you are going to save money with the so called credit card discount after signing up for Zale’s Credit Card. There are so many exclusions and restrictions that the discount only applies to about 10% of their inventory (which is often extremely overpriced). Even though nearly 90% of their inventory is supposedly “marked down” you can often find the exact same item elsewhere for a much better price (if you just take the extra time to look).After I realized that my so called “discount” was nearly worthless, and especially when I discovered that I could get the exact same item for a price that was LOWER than Zale’s, I have decided to rip up my card and cancel my account. Zale’s is NOT the only jewelry store in town!

Kailey Jones: I was just at the Lenexa Jared and walked out (before my rings were cleaned and rodiumed) because of extremely poor customer service. I was on a time crunch (which I made you aware of) and I had to ask you if you could speak to the jewelers on how quickly the rodium and inspection could be completed. I was told to call around 3pm to check on the status before I drove back to Jared. I requested a call and was told they don’t call to tell people when their repairs are complete. I asked for my rings back so I could go to the Independence location because I wasn’t impressed with the customer service and was told a very shallow “I’m sorry.”. No, he wasn’t sorry - that was apparent by his tone. Overall, very poor customer service and experience. I suggest going to another Jared in KC instead of the Lenexa location.I drove straight to the Independence location and am currently having a great experience!

I brought them my grandmothers wedding band in and found out that there was extensive work that needed to be done before I lost diamonds. I was devastated to learn and broke down crying. Ashley told me about some options I had and ultimately after many tears and discussions with my mother I decided to see what redoing the ring completely while keeping as much metal and all of the diamonds her and Teresa sat with me for 2 hours designing the most beautiful ring set. For the first time in 20 years the ring is off my finger and I felt confident in letting them take it for repairs and redo I can not wait to have my grandmother back with me in a few months thank you Ashley and Teresa for all the care and support and understanding the sentimental value this has for me and my family!

It was a chance meeting that he answered my call late one evening as I was in a frantic search for the perfect Rolex for a special anniversary gift for my colleague. While fascinated with Rolex, at the time admittedly was a novice in this search. He quickly captivated my attention with his wit, connection to St. Louis, and time in explaining this crazy phenomenon of purchasing on the spot. He told me it was unlikely but if something became available he would reach back. I was sold instantly on his service and attention to detail. When I arrived a month later to pick up my masterpiece he captivated my attention again. Oh well their loss as I made my purchase elsewhere at a jewelry store that DID want my business and was nice and welcomed me. I will never ever go back to this place as I do not wish to give my business to peoplewho are not respectful and feel they are better than me. I will also never recommend them to anyone else. ALL people are potentially customers and by treating them as if you feel they are beneath you then most will leave never to return. Why spend your hard earned money at a place where people act like your not welcome? Just NOPE!
Andrew Mitchell: Stopped by Drenon Jewlery a few months ago to look at their watch selection and was greeted by Steve. Steve couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the watch brands they represent and he spent nearly 3 hours chatting and helping me understand the specific models and brands. I decided on a particular watch and Steve assured me if I gave him some time he would make it happen. Fast forward less than two months and I received a call from Steve that there was a watch that arrived if I wanted to have a look. He originally said give me a few months but I could not believe he made it happen in less than 2 months. Steve and the staff don’t just treat you like valued customers they treat you like family. scott sweat: I only gave 5 stars because there is not an option for 11! The first time I walked in I met Steve the owner. Steve spent over an hour talking with me about Rolex and the history behind the brand. It gave me excitement for the brand and hope that I would truly have a chance at acquiring my dream watch. I stayed in touch with him, would visit the store and text him from time to time with questions about watches which he was always quick to respond. Today I stopped in for one of my visits to check out his great display only to find out that my watch had just came in! It was still in the box that it and a few others were shipped in. Jose helped me try it on and made sure it fit perfectly while Steve was activating the warranty. From the first day through delivery I could not be happier. The folks at Drenon are kind, professional and now life long friends! This is the only jewelry store I will ever use from this day out!

Quincey Boo: Collin. That’s all you need to know for this location. This man is brilliant as it pertains to piercing and my all time favorite: Customer care. As I’m selecting piercings Collin is assisting a previous customer with an order. I payed attention to how he handled this person who was unfamiliar with the ordering process. Collin was thorough and very helpful especially when asked numerous questions.When it was my turn, he advised which earrings would be suitable for my needs. At first I thought he’d try to up-sale me to the pricier earrings but when I told him I wanted titanium instead of 14K(pricier), he didn’t balk. As I’m waiting for him to prepare, other customers walked up. He acknowledged them politely and in a timely manner. I prefer that so folks don’t feel ignored while waiting. Collin was a stellar piercer and it didn’t hurt a bit. He got them in without incident and I was on my way within 15 minutes from start to finish with a full explanation for after care! Now THAT’S customer care and bravo to Collin! I dig that dude
Jenny Benners: I brought my 6 year old to get her ears pierced today and the guy who did was very polite and friendly. I didn’t catch his name! (Blonde with glasses and tattoos.) He spoke to my daughter, not just to me. He explained things and was patient and included both of us every step of the way. It was a really great experience. She’s thrilled and it only cost me the price of the earrings. She chose a $60 pair but the other places I called in my area (that’s wasn’t a Claire’s), were going to cost $140+ and charged a piercing fee.. The girl I spoke to over the phone the couple times I called was also very friendly and helpful. And we were given the cleaning solution and these cute stickers to countdown the time until she can switch her earrings out.
