Boundless Dance Academy: what do users think?
Aja Fields: Everyone is so nice and welcoming!! It feels like I'm with family when I come in for dance!! Rebecca and Liz are amazing instructors 💜
Marcy Dachs: My daughter has been going here for 3 years & she loves it💛I am so happy to find a place nearby, with affordable pricing, non-competitive & most importantly tasteful outfits for recital. Rebecca, her daughter & her mom have always been so sweet & very helpful, they are wonderful people & you can tell they care so much about each student🤗we won’t go anywhere else! I’m so happy that there is only 1 recital a year, closed in December & again, the tasteful outfits for the recital-none of the girls are in skimpy little costumes. My cousin pulled her daughter out of a dance studio in blue springs because of that but we have never had that issue here, Ty Rebecca & all the Boundless team 🏽
Feddi Around the collar Shirts: The best my daughter liv s it here ,, real fair treatment!!
Robin Davis: Positive:ValueMy daughter went there for years! We loved it. The staff is made up of family and your treated as family as well.
Anna Wilson: Best studio around!!
Brittani Lopez: Love this place! My oldest daughter went here for years and now my youngest just started her first ballet class. I love how small it is and how they pay attention to their students. I also prefer the non-competitive dance stuff.
Malu Holguin: I like you so much os very nice
Amy Green: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Michelle Humphreys: Positive:Quality,Value
Gavett Burch: Covid careful, great teaching, engaging, fun, great exercise.
Crystal Moore: We love coming here, and tonight showed me why! My daughter went 2 years ago, last year she only did half a year and coming back this year everyone still remembered us and was always very friendly!
Laurin Myers: My daughter loves it here. Super welcoming vibes!
Kate A Watkins: We love Boundless! This is our second year here and our daughter has grown so much under their instruction! Ms. Rebecca does an incredible job of building a safe environment and a wonderful community! I can say that during the pandemic they did a fantastic job of keeping in contact with their students and keeping them dancing. I hope BDA continues to grow and offer dance to students for years to come!
Andrea Smith: Super friendly. Well orginzed. Kids and dance groups of all ages and styles. Tons of yearly activites to participate in with the academy. Wonderful parents. So glad I got my daughter involved! We'll never leave!
doug berry: Excellent place my kids love going there and also my wife
M. Andrew Robison: We were blessed to find BDA. As the parent of two sensory sensitive children, who wanted something non-competitive, BDA was the perfect fit. We love the instructor and both Rebecca and Mrs. Linda are great folks to he around. The other parents have been very welcoming and we hope to continue with BDA for many years to come.
Linda Weidner: My granddaughters dance here. One started 5 years ago. We now have 3 in attendance. I love the family friendly atmosphere. It is non-competive. My girls love their their teachers. I think very highly of the owner, Ms Rebecca! I highly recommend this studio! Plus, I started taking a Yoga class, myself!
Jennifer Crow: My daughter just started her 2nd year with BDA. We have been nothing but impressed with the level of professionalism mixed with a family-friendly environment. Miss Rebecca is a gifted teacher, (especially with the younger kiddos who sometimes get a bit distracted). We plan to be here for years to come.
Jordan Hayes: Best studio around! Family friendly, clean, organized! It’s a beautiful place for my kids to grow and blossom into wonderful dancers! Costumes are always age appropriate and tasteful as well as the music!
Dasy Bug: My daughter has been dancing at Boundless since they opened! She started in Ballet! The teachers have taught her to be more confident and she has expanded to Ballet, Modern and Jazz! The teachers and staff have helped shape her into the young lady she is now! We moved to a new home 3 years ago... my daughter, my husband and myself could have moved my daughter to a dance studio closer to our home but we couldn’t imagine not going to BDA! She has taken dance with 4 of the same girls that she started with and they have become more than dance partners, more than friends ... they are family!
Britt Barefield: Looking for a “dance school” where you regret taking your child almost as much as you regret hiking barefoot over hot lava, running a marathon br*aless, or trying to pet a rabid stray dog? Boundless Dance Academy is for you!It checks all the boxes: Disorganization, discourtesy, unprofessionalism, confusion, condescension, overlapping classes, and questionable business practices…because rules are meant to be broken, such as placing large six-year-olds in with classes for 3-5-year-olds—Check! BDA is the bad boy rebel of elementary school level dance studios; the one who smokes because he thinks it makes him look cool. And if the smell of cigarettes makes you crave body odor, you’re going to enjoy the lobby, foyer, and waiting room.A small, crowded waiting room where you can reach an unheard-of intimacy level with total strangers: Check! (Nothing like someone else’s breath fogging up your glasses. It’s a good test to see if your flu shot really works.)Congested hallways and single front entry/exit to the level of a fire hazard: Check!Constant interruptions and distractions by random people lured in by free trial classes who show up late to put their children (wearing inappropriate attire, i.e. athletic-walking-on-the-dirty-street shoes in tap/ballet class): Check! An everlasting open enrollment period to ensure those constant interruptions are endless: Check!A poorly planned schedule where the end of each class and the subsequent student change-over eats into the beginning of the next class like flesh-eating bacteria consumes your appendages: Check!Impolite, inconsiderate owner with bad email etiquette and either dishonest business practices or genuine ignorance on honest behavior: Check!Being billed for things you don’t sign up for even after specifically informing the owner not to bill you for miscellaneous things: Check!Having to contact the disrespectful owner multiple times to have the billing error corrected without receiving an apology and being told they do what’s “convenient” for them: Check!Enrolling your child in a class described as tumbling only to learn it’s just 30 minutes of basic stretching: Check!Discovering a dance class you’re paying for has been subtly combined with a different class: Check! There’s a very nice instructor, although not often punctual due to classes scheduled during evening rush hour. But fear not, the owner’s elderly mother, who has zero dance/teaching experience or tact, will appear like a ghost to monitor the instructors, seemingly to let them know she has no faith in their abilities and to undermine their authority. She then attempts to talk to parents like they’re knuckle-dragging idiots which is hilarious because every person there has had to deal with her technological deficiencies.Discounts are offered for military and those who sign up for autopay, but I’d gladly forfeit any discount in exchange for better treatment and service. Also, be aware the parking lot has more potholes than asphalt.Overall, you need a good sense of humor because BDA is a joke. It’s a revolving door concerned merely with pulling in patrons by any means, one $30 non-refundable enrollment fee at a time, but providing no substance or decorum to keep them there and driving away those who’d been enrolled. There are many other legitimate studios with skilled instructors and owners, and they even offer respect and courtesy for free.*If your bar of standards is so low it’s no longer visible to the n*ked eye, then this place is for you.

Cathy's Creative Dance School: what do users think?
Breann Kelley: I do not have any personal history in dance, but my daughter has been dancing here for a little over a year and the changes in her her physical strength and confidence are amazing. The staff at Cathy’s are focused on helping my child develop as a person and a dancer. There is a focus on proper technique. The cost is very reasonably - especially compared to other studios.
Gracie Durham: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueI’ve gone to this studio my whole life, this is like my second home, it’s a place I can go to and forget everything and just have the time of my life. I absolutely love the teachers, and the people here are my closest friends.I owe so much to this studio, and all it has done for me💕
Paiton Brandt: Great studio full of great opportunities! Such a amazing dance family.
Shaun Bruce (Master Bruce): I was invited to this studio to attend a stretch class and it was great! Miss Cathy, Melissa, and the teachers made me feel right at home. The students were respectful and the studio was well kept. Honestly, if they offered adult dance classes, I would sign up! Overall I was impressed and the fact masks were worn was a plus! If I had children, I would not hesitate to have them enrolled.
Rhonda Free: I danced with Miss Cathy as a child and was ecstatic when my own daughter decided to attend this dance school about 12 years ago. Miss Cathy cares deeply for all of her students and takes pride in teaching skills and technique. This studio is like a second home to many and very affordable.
Leah Nicholson: Cathy’s creative dance is a wonderful dance school that teaches children technique while having fun. The teachers here have so much knowledge and are truly invested in the kids learning and well being. This place is wonderful.
Britt Barefield: Cathy’s Creative Dance Studio is one of the best studios in Independence. (Others like BDA are terrible.) But at Cathy’s, all of the teachers are experienced, educated, and amazing, especially Ms. Sarah—because my kids had her most often. They’ve learned so much and had so much fun! The owner is also so kind and friendly, as is the staff. They’re great with communication, instruction, and encouraging all the dancers. I was also very grateful for their mask policy since my daughter is too young to be vaccinated against Covid. She was able to dance in a safe environment without missing a beat. I highly recommend Cathy’s Creative Dance Studio!
Tim Mayer: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat dance studio. Our kids absolutely love this place. The owner, Cathy, is always out and about talking to the students and parents. I highly recommend this place for everyone!
Andrea Flowers: Requires masks for preschoolers. I don't recommend this school at all.
Amber Lynn: Positive:Quality,ValueMy daughter has danced at this studio for 9 years and it has become a second home for her. Great dance teachers and great atmosphere!
Shelby Ralls: This dance studio has been my second home since I was 3 years old. I've accomplished so many new things here and I'm very proud to say I dance here with all of the amazing students and teachers. The girls in the age group I dance with have become my family, they are my sisters and I have a very close bond with all of them. Teachers are incredibly kind and are so supportive.
Erica L Elefson: Cathy's Creative Dance school is a place where I can go to see my friends and have fun. I have learned a lot from taking class from all of our teachers and I appreciate all of the wonderful relationships and bonds I have created while taking dance here.
Kelli Guy: We had a great experience until we didn't do not expect to take your child to this dance school and have them fit in they worry only about there special students and nothing about the others. They are very money orientated with outrageous fees that come from no where they also have terrible business ethics needless to sat I'm amazed they stay in business if I were you I would stay away !

Toniette Davis: My granddaughter has a real love of dance she really enjoys going.
Daniel Jumper: Great facility, warm staff, the kids love it!
Sheri Agee: We have been here 8 months and I can't say enough things about this studio. Everyone is so nice and you don't feel like a burden by asking too many questions, they're truly like a second family. We have tried other studios and none compare to monarch. My daughter has the privilege to learn from the BEST!!
Donetta Head: We started at this studio a little more than a year ago. They welcome everyone with loving open arms. They've helped my little one grow in so many more ways than just as a dancer. They're nothing shy of amazing with the absolute best staff EVER as they took a young lady that had never danced in her life and turned her into a competition loving glittery flipping turning spinning full on dancer. They really have really turned into the best second family anyone could ever want.
J Bopp: A wonderful place for children to learn and grow in all aspects of the performing arts. The staff is so dedicated to the kids and are passionate about what they do. My child loves being a part of this studio! It honestly feels like a second family to us.
Michael Smith: A fabulous experience. Education by professionals, in an inviting atmosphere. We love Monarch!

CODE - Conservatory Of Dance Education, Dance Studio: what do users think?
Brynn McCan: Code Dance Studio is the BEST!!! We sign our children up for extra curricular activities with the goal of teaching discipline, work ethic, providing community, friends and instilling confidence. Code has provided my daughter all of these things far beyond my original expectation. They invest in her wellbeing both personally and as a dancer. Beyond the family/community environment, Code produces incredible dancers. The technique and talent is evident in the awards they receive. I have nothing but great things to say about Code!!!!
Brent Bonham: I love this studio!!!!!!
Ella Castilleja: The owner of code is never there the studio is basically ran by teachers that haven’t danced since college. He wasn’t even there for nationals. This is why I am never seeding my daughter back to code
marisol valencia: Best Dance Studio

There is theater, dance, music and art offered for ages and levels of interest. The nurturing environment created by the staff truly brings the BEST out of every student. The Culture House should be called the "Magic House" because it unlocks the MAGIC inside each child. The staff is PHENOMENAL! They are creative, talented, and CALM. My son loves to perform; but he loves even more the relationships he has established at the Culture House. His favorite part of any day is time spent at the Culture House with his friends. It has become for us a home away from home. I would highly recommend letting the Culture House unlock the "Magic "inside of your family.
