Boundless Dance Academy: what do users think?
Aja Fields: Everyone is so nice and welcoming!! It feels like I'm with family when I come in for dance!! Rebecca and Liz are amazing instructors 💜
Marcy Dachs: My daughter has been going here for 3 years & she loves it💛I am so happy to find a place nearby, with affordable pricing, non-competitive & most importantly tasteful outfits for recital. Rebecca, her daughter & her mom have always been so sweet & very helpful, they are wonderful people & you can tell they care so much about each student🤗we won’t go anywhere else! I’m so happy that there is only 1 recital a year, closed in December & again, the tasteful outfits for the recital-none of the girls are in skimpy little costumes. My cousin pulled her daughter out of a dance studio in blue springs because of that but we have never had that issue here, Ty Rebecca & all the Boundless team 🏽
Feddi Around the collar Shirts: The best my daughter liv s it here ,, real fair treatment!!
Robin Davis: Positive:ValueMy daughter went there for years! We loved it. The staff is made up of family and your treated as family as well.
Anna Wilson: Best studio around!!
Brittani Lopez: Love this place! My oldest daughter went here for years and now my youngest just started her first ballet class. I love how small it is and how they pay attention to their students. I also prefer the non-competitive dance stuff.
Malu Holguin: I like you so much os very nice
Amy Green: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Michelle Humphreys: Positive:Quality,Value
Gavett Burch: Covid careful, great teaching, engaging, fun, great exercise.
Crystal Moore: We love coming here, and tonight showed me why! My daughter went 2 years ago, last year she only did half a year and coming back this year everyone still remembered us and was always very friendly!
Laurin Myers: My daughter loves it here. Super welcoming vibes!
Kate A Watkins: We love Boundless! This is our second year here and our daughter has grown so much under their instruction! Ms. Rebecca does an incredible job of building a safe environment and a wonderful community! I can say that during the pandemic they did a fantastic job of keeping in contact with their students and keeping them dancing. I hope BDA continues to grow and offer dance to students for years to come!
Andrea Smith: Super friendly. Well orginzed. Kids and dance groups of all ages and styles. Tons of yearly activites to participate in with the academy. Wonderful parents. So glad I got my daughter involved! We'll never leave!
doug berry: Excellent place my kids love going there and also my wife
M. Andrew Robison: We were blessed to find BDA. As the parent of two sensory sensitive children, who wanted something non-competitive, BDA was the perfect fit. We love the instructor and both Rebecca and Mrs. Linda are great folks to he around. The other parents have been very welcoming and we hope to continue with BDA for many years to come.
Linda Weidner: My granddaughters dance here. One started 5 years ago. We now have 3 in attendance. I love the family friendly atmosphere. It is non-competive. My girls love their their teachers. I think very highly of the owner, Ms Rebecca! I highly recommend this studio! Plus, I started taking a Yoga class, myself!
Jennifer Crow: My daughter just started her 2nd year with BDA. We have been nothing but impressed with the level of professionalism mixed with a family-friendly environment. Miss Rebecca is a gifted teacher, (especially with the younger kiddos who sometimes get a bit distracted). We plan to be here for years to come.
Jordan Hayes: Best studio around! Family friendly, clean, organized! It’s a beautiful place for my kids to grow and blossom into wonderful dancers! Costumes are always age appropriate and tasteful as well as the music!
Dasy Bug: My daughter has been dancing at Boundless since they opened! She started in Ballet! The teachers have taught her to be more confident and she has expanded to Ballet, Modern and Jazz! The teachers and staff have helped shape her into the young lady she is now! We moved to a new home 3 years ago... my daughter, my husband and myself could have moved my daughter to a dance studio closer to our home but we couldn’t imagine not going to BDA! She has taken dance with 4 of the same girls that she started with and they have become more than dance partners, more than friends ... they are family!
Britt Barefield: Looking for a “dance school” where you regret taking your child almost as much as you regret hiking barefoot over hot lava, running a marathon br*aless, or trying to pet a rabid stray dog? Boundless Dance Academy is for you!It checks all the boxes: Disorganization, discourtesy, unprofessionalism, confusion, condescension, overlapping classes, and questionable business practices…because rules are meant to be broken, such as placing large six-year-olds in with classes for 3-5-year-olds—Check! BDA is the bad boy rebel of elementary school level dance studios; the one who smokes because he thinks it makes him look cool. And if the smell of cigarettes makes you crave body odor, you’re going to enjoy the lobby, foyer, and waiting room.A small, crowded waiting room where you can reach an unheard-of intimacy level with total strangers: Check! (Nothing like someone else’s breath fogging up your glasses. It’s a good test to see if your flu shot really works.)Congested hallways and single front entry/exit to the level of a fire hazard: Check!Constant interruptions and distractions by random people lured in by free trial classes who show up late to put their children (wearing inappropriate attire, i.e. athletic-walking-on-the-dirty-street shoes in tap/ballet class): Check! An everlasting open enrollment period to ensure those constant interruptions are endless: Check!A poorly planned schedule where the end of each class and the subsequent student change-over eats into the beginning of the next class like flesh-eating bacteria consumes your appendages: Check!Impolite, inconsiderate owner with bad email etiquette and either dishonest business practices or genuine ignorance on honest behavior: Check!Being billed for things you don’t sign up for even after specifically informing the owner not to bill you for miscellaneous things: Check!Having to contact the disrespectful owner multiple times to have the billing error corrected without receiving an apology and being told they do what’s “convenient” for them: Check!Enrolling your child in a class described as tumbling only to learn it’s just 30 minutes of basic stretching: Check!Discovering a dance class you’re paying for has been subtly combined with a different class: Check! There’s a very nice instructor, although not often punctual due to classes scheduled during evening rush hour. But fear not, the owner’s elderly mother, who has zero dance/teaching experience or tact, will appear like a ghost to monitor the instructors, seemingly to let them know she has no faith in their abilities and to undermine their authority. She then attempts to talk to parents like they’re knuckle-dragging idiots which is hilarious because every person there has had to deal with her technological deficiencies.Discounts are offered for military and those who sign up for autopay, but I’d gladly forfeit any discount in exchange for better treatment and service. Also, be aware the parking lot has more potholes than asphalt.Overall, you need a good sense of humor because BDA is a joke. It’s a revolving door concerned merely with pulling in patrons by any means, one $30 non-refundable enrollment fee at a time, but providing no substance or decorum to keep them there and driving away those who’d been enrolled. There are many other legitimate studios with skilled instructors and owners, and they even offer respect and courtesy for free.*If your bar of standards is so low it’s no longer visible to the n*ked eye, then this place is for you.

EZ Dancing: what do users think?
Zach Prieskorn: Edgar is an amazing dance instructor. If you've ever wanted to learn any of the MANY styles he teaches, he's your guy.
Carla Price: I've been taking dance lessons with Edgar for two years. He is a great instructor. His dance expertise and professionalism is top notch. I appreciate the patience that he shows to his students regardless of skill level. For couples, it's a great date night event. For those who don't have a partner or a partner who doesn't want to dance, don't let that stop you from enjoying this experience. Edgar is so easy to work with, talk to, and (obviously) dance with. You will be completely at ease taking lessons without a partner. You won't regret learning to dance. It's a great way to practice mindfulness as you glide across the dance floor, forgetting the worries of the day as you enjoy the movement of each moment.
Linda Hanson: I had my first class today, and I LOVED it. we worked on the foxtrot and rumba. Edgar was brilliant, so knowledgeable and kind. I signed up for more classes immediately. 10 Stars!.....now 6 months in I am still absolutely loving classes. I am working on waltz, rumba, salsa, foxtrot, swing and cha cha. I look forward every week to my lessons. I still say 10 stars!
Barbara Garman: He is a great teacher. He makes it fun and easy to learn.
Hannah Chow: Edgar makes dancing easy and fun. He is an excellent teacher and his dance studio is beautiful.
Tim Porter: Edgar is the real deal! Patient pleasant and works with you to learn as fast as you are capable. Learn with your spouse or by yourself. He's got it covered!
Tyler Cronin: Great! We learned our dance routine in 8 lessons and we didn't have any dance experience before hand. Would recommend to anyone!
Derek Dobler: My fiancee and I had never have taken dancing lessons before and came here to learn the routine for our wedding dance. The instructor was very helpful and helped us learn in stress free and fun classes. Would highly recommend.

Susan Warner: This dance studio is operated by people with integrity. For the classes I have taken, the quality of instruction is amazing, and completely worth every dime I spend. The instructors believe in you and your ability to learn to dance. Of course, I have to be responsible for my own practice and application of what I have learned. Not only has my experience here been of learning to dance, a very objective and measurable task, but it inspires an inner learning about myself and my potential. Highly recommend this studio.
DR Snyder: On November 24, 2018, the instructors - Priscilla, Jacqueline, Amanda and Melinda led a Women's Wellness Workshop that was Awesome! The workshop was a combination of exercise, education and FUN! I am looking forward to the next workshop in 2019!June, 2017 - Even though it says "Dance" in the name, the Midwest Dance Center is an excellent FITNESS studio in Grain Valley. Pris Young and the other instructors offer a variety of classes that are FUN and CHALLENGING for all fitness levels. I have been attending classes since the studio opened in June 2017 and the results for me have been positive and rewarding.

American Ballroom Dance Studio: what do users think?
Dr. Moriah Renaud: My husband and I went here on our first anniversary- Alfie was amazing and we had a blast and learned so much! We live 3 hours away but will definitely be back!
Ruth Mcbride: Had the best lesson with Alfie. Will be back soon. Amazing
Courtney Boortz: Had a lesson here with my fiance for our first dance and it was wonderful. The instructor was very kind and patient and gave us a great easy to follow routine. We are not dancers in any way, but I feel very confident that we will look great for our first dance.
Magician Hex: Started here a year ago with my wife. I had no dance experience what so ever. The teacher is amazing and very patient. He's pretty much like family at this point. All classes are private, so you don't have to worry about anyone watching you while you dance. Has a social you can attend twice a month if you do want to dance around others and use what you've been practicing. You can learn even if you don't have a dance partner. He also doesn't mind kids which is awesome if you're like me and have nobody to watch yours during class. All in all, it's a really great environment and amazing experience. Teaches both social and competitive.
randomshellness: Alfie is an amazing instructor. He made two beginners feel at home on the dance floor and excited to return to it! My husband and I wanted to start a class together but struggled to figure out how to do it with our young child. Finding a babysitter and working out all the costs is tough. Alfie is okay with us bringing her along for future classes so we can come without the extra worry!Instructor: Alfie teaches private lessons and really made us feel welcome and comfortable on the dance floor. It was my husband's first time on a dance floor, ever, and he was extremely nervous! Now he can't wait to come back. You can also tell from Alfie's poise and the way he teaches that he really is an expert professional. His teaching is easy to follow, makes you feel confident in continuing, and he is very patient.Studio: The studio surprised us! It looks very small on the outside, but when you go down the steps you enter a beautiful classy ballroom wonderland. Absolutely gorgeous!Pricing: The cost for private lessons is extremely reasonable. The owner and instructor teaches himself, and we were the only students there. Plus like I said earlier, we don't have to find a babysitter!Types of classes: This is a studio focused on ballroom dance for sure, which is exactly what we wanted! They offer the standard dances (waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, etc) Latin dances (salsa, cha-cha, etc) and various types of swing dances too!If you're hesitating, don't! Call and set up a lesson! I'm sure you'll end up as excited as we are to return!
Amber Glasgow: My husband suprised me with a dance lesson for my 40th birthday. Alfie was wonderful. He was patient, talented and funny. I really enjoyed it and cant wait to go again!
Marisa Tucker: Thank you to Alfie for being such a great and patient ballroom instructor! My husband and I needed some practice with our first dance and did not know what to expect for one lesson, but Alfie created us a whole combination we were able to practice. Great experience!

Walters Dance Center LLC: what do users think?
Mary Martin: The greatest place to learn about dance.Mark is a very talented man and makes learning dance easy. This place makes my soul smile and forget my troubles.
Jim Degiuli: This was a lot of fun. They taught everyone at a beginner level and worked up.even the experts went slow to let everyone have fun.
Dean Mauldin: I enjoyed class. The instructor was knowledgeable and we went over a lot of material from beginners to more advanced.
Kendal Smith: Love this place, great place to learn!
Debra Bledsoe: It's a gem. Swing to a blues beat on Wednesdays. Waltz in and learn smooth, rythym, or two-step on another day. Classes are a great value, instructors are excellent, and you'll be welcome.
Pat Martin: I had a fantastic time learning to dance a waltz and a rumba in less than an hour lesson (I was tardy) at Walter's lesson!
Jim Oldebeken: It's heaven here. Incredibly awesome people, relaxed and fun group lessons, and one of the best dance floors anywhere!
Tasha Leach: Mary and Mark are wonderful people and beautiful, knowledgeable dancers. A friend recommended them to me, and now that I've started going to Walters, i can't imagine going anywhere else! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and all the people are so friendly!
Garrett Pieper: Friendly environment, large floor, 10 out of 10 would recommend

Best Of All Dance: what do users think?
Jenelle Bigo: Not every class or instructor works for everyone and BOAD did not work for us, but the instruction is not the reason for 2 stars. Some words of advice on the business side: Be sure you want to devote time & money to lessons because changing your mind is met with resistance. Additionally, I suggest a contract upfront outlining what your lesson fees include and the refund policy. Our unused, pre-paid lessons were not fully refunded because of time instructors spent outside of the studio. I suggest you understand those details upfront.
Erica Thumen: Best of All Dance was extremely accommodating and fun to work with! They created a wonderful routine for us on a very short timeline! They worked with our schedules and are great teachers!! We would strongly recommend them to anyone, especially couples looking to have a choreographed first dance. They are genuine and really care about your special day.
Lauren Church: Jim and Miranda were attentive to our vision for our First Dance, and the results of Miranda's song cut, choreography, and our lessons were beautiful and just what we were hoping for!!
W: Best of All Dance is great! Used them for my Thai wedding coming up this August. They created a custom dance routine from scratch for my mom and I to dance too. Highly recommended!
Jonathan Kroll: They were great! They were able to teach us a dance a month before our wedding and were very flexible with our schedule. We were able to do a dance that we liked and were comfortable with. Would recommend!
Katie Regan: My fiance and I started lessons with Miranda three months before our wedding. My fiance was not thrilled about the lessons initially, but she has made this a wonderful experience for both of us! Both Miranda and Jim have been great choreographing our dance and being extremely flexible with our busy schedules. It is clear they both truly care about our experience and our performance on our big day. We highly recommend. Thank you both so much!!
Batdc: My fiancé and I have been taking dance lessons at BOAD for our first wedding dance. We have learned so much in so little time. There is not a wasted minute during our lessons. We love our instructors. They are so personable and truly care about us and our performance. They want to teach us many different styles of dance and then blend the styles into choreography for our wedding dance which we are loving! Can't wait for everyone to see our first dance!! :)
Gavin Taylor: My wife and I took lessons from Best Of All Dance in Kansas City to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. We had very productive sessions with our instructors, and we were given a customized version of our favorite Queen song to do the dance with! We were very happy with the results! I have never danced before in my life, but they were incredibly patient with me as I learned some basic steps, and they eventually helped us choreograph an entire song for our wedding! It couldn't have turned out better. Check this studio out, you won't be disappointed!
Jeff Porter: Best of all Dance exceeded our expectations. We were very nervous about signing up for dance lessons for our upcoming wedding. But we went in for our initial meet and greet lesson and the instructors were very welcoming. We signed up for lessons and they transformed the way we will be dancing on our wedding night! It will be a spectacular first dance many will remember for years to come. We can't thank Best of all Dance enough.
Rachel Correll: My fiancé and I have been going to this studio for the past few months. We have absolutely no dance experience so we signed up for private lessons to work on our first dance. They not only choreographed the perfect routine for us, they also edited down our song to a more manageable length. They are super fun, easy to work with, and have an endless amount of patience with us. We highly recommend Best Of All Dance to anyone considering lessons!
