Jacob Chappell: I am looking at buying my first home. Justin and Jamie came out to do a full house inspection with termite and sewer additionally added. While doing the inspection they were open to questions and helped guide me with what would be needed, suggested, and things that can be pretty much ignored. I got back the full report in a timely manner and I have contacted them multiple times about it with more questions and they were always quick to answer.

Barbara Frank: Rod at Zone Zero did our house inspection. This is one of the most detailed home inspections I have ever seen. We are now buying this house knowing every little detail of things that should be fixed for the house to be 100% perfect. There were a few big issues that we hadn't realized and these were negotiated with the owners. We knew it was an older home and there would be some things we would need to do after we bought the house and we accepted that. So hubby now has a nice detailed "to do" list of things that he needs to fix (along with detailed images). These are things that definitely would not stop us from buying the house but need to be done and can be done over a period of time. I am impressed with the amount of detail and how extremely professional this inspection report is. Not planning on buying another house in my lifetime but if I did I would definitely use Rod at Zone Zero Home Inspections.

Cathy Belt: Rod Collins has performed two inspections for us. One was when we were getting ready for sell our home of 26 years, and then recently, when we put in an offer of another house. Both inspections were thorough, professional, and in depth inspections of the home. He checks everything, and then makes it easy for the customer to understand. His inspection report is easy to understand, especially putting the picture of the item with the explanation of what needs attention. The report is also timely and the cost very reasonable. I recommend his services to friends, professionals, and anyone needing a good, reliable, and accurate home inspector.

Not only was everything included, but recommendations and ideas for repairs were included as well. He took great pictures and labeled each concern with arrows or whatever was needed to point out the issue. I am a loan officer and review home inspections from all over the country on a daily basis. Khalilah Henderson: The inspector did not seem knowledgeable at all. My family, realtor, and I were pointing out things he didn’t even seem to notice. It also seemed as if he was making things up as we went along. For instance, he first said the water heater had about 5 years left. We noticed that the year on the water heater is 1992. When we brought that up, it the inspector immediately changed what he originally said, and then said that a new water heater is needed. The inspector didn’t mention the roof until we brought it up. In addition, the inspection seemed all over the place. We were talking about the deck while we were in one of the bedrooms. Overall, it seemed a bit shady. I feel like I was scammed. He also had me pay over cash app, which should have been a huge red flag. Overall, I would not recommend.
