Michael Flynn: Never been here, but I didn’t realize that the KC metro has the first Christian Church ever! So exciting and such an under appreciated establishment of KC!

Margo Willy: The sign out front, say it all!!!
Jenna Remack: Very nice congregation and pastor. Wasn't the right place for us to call home but we were warmly welcomed. Women wore mostly dresses and pant suits. Men wore slacks and button down most with ties. Conservative, traditional church service and worship but very friendly people.

Kathleen Steenhusen: IBCC are a remarkable Church. They truly care about it's members. My name Kathleen (Kathy) Steenhusen. My husband, Kirk passed away on October, 4, 2022. Pastor Mindy and Diana Graham have been their in my need or sorrow. The congregation of IBCC sent me a beautiful flower bouquet and are serving refreshments proceeding the funeral service. I want to thank them my church family. In Jesus name ! Kathy Steenhusen.

Now don't get me started on the meatloaf.....soo good!!!!!! I've laughed , prayed and spent time with my loved ones under this roof . Its a place that warms the soul ! Gina Love: I used to like going to this church to eat. Being my family and I were homeless for almost two years. Thank GOD for that! But I signed up my daughter up for gifts just like everyone else. I have other kids as well that didn't get signed up because they are older. Her stepdad took her to pick up her gifts and they said her name was not on the list. Wow! I know she was very disappointed seeing kids leave with bags full of gifts but I guess that's how life goes. I just don't want to go to this church anymore whether it be that I'm hungry or whatever it may be. I would just go hungry. So disappointed. Will not be celebration Christmas anymore either.

Kathryn Lowry: We love St. Luke’s. Ten years ago, my then fiancé and I were looking for a church. St. Luke’s was the only church where not only did the parishioners greet and welcome us but the pastor called us by name as we were leaving. We were married in this church and became members. Skip forward a few years, my husband and I took in a special needs young lady. Our church family immediately welcomed her and took her under their wing.We love our church family and Pastor Paul. Pastor and several different members have worked really hard to keep us connected during this quarantine time. Our musical duo have done a phenomenal job with the music during our services. Thank you to all who contribute to keeping us connected.
Sandra Sadler: I have enjoyed listening to Pastor Paul and hearing the music. It's a very difficult time that we live in. Things will never be the same but we will survive and we will be better. My God is a forgiving and has a plan. We must have faith and come together as people he wants us to be.
Julie Sehrt: It's so nice to be home! After 10 years living if different states it is wonderful to be back with my church family. While many things have grown and changed over the years, the joy, passion and faith remain. It is exciting to see the new families and children and young adults learning and growing. Jackie Holmes: I love St. Luke’s! The parishioners are all friendly, there is a growing group of young people as well as various groups for grownups. Pastor Paul is warm, funny, and smart. I’m really in love with the new musicians. If you haven’t had a chance to visit, consider doing so.

karly ck: My mom and father in law are members of this church for years, i like to go there but i only can't understand why they celebrate Halloween, i can't explain that to my 15 years all son, he asked me that yesterday, i just told him that all i know is God took us from the Dark to the light that is Jesus, and we are supposed to walk in that light and not go back to de dark or what the world do, sorry if i made someone uncomfortable, is only what i think, i know we are not perfect but i know we have the Bible to find all the answers
Ginni Elmore: they really have a great food pantry to help the needy, they're always welcoming and serve a dinner beforehand. And generously give a lot of food for your family! I would attend regularly on Sundays but I work but they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. All down to earth not hoity toity I'm a mighty Christian, attitude just hey I'm here you're here we're all equal.

I was the 2nd person in line and was the very last one to get served. . There are 2adults and 2 children in our home. The. Very 1st lady had a grocery cart full to the top. and while visiting with her upstairs. i learned she lived alone.. I was givein 4 bags of nothing that I even requested. . . The young lady running the pantry told me she put me last inline because of the confusion.. There was no confusion. She should be ashamed of herself.. She is far from a christian.. God help her. I AM VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN THIS CHURCH AND IM VERY HURT ON HOW I WAS TREATED.
