Tim Roche: First I was told my credit card was not accepted even though it was a Chase credit card. Then I was told about charges that were not specified on the website. Then to make matters worse the associate talking to me treated me like I was beneath him. To make matters worse the associate refused to help find a solution to the problem. Last time I ever try to rent from Avis.
Ruie Pritchard: Don't get a Chevy spark. I couldn't adjust neck rest on seat back & it pushed my head forward. Seat belt was tight around my throat. Barely enough space to get my thighs between steering wheel & seat. Steering wheel blocked view of any mph reading beyond 40 mph, so I had to squish down in seat to read mph. Some functions--even for operating radio and headlights -- weren't intuitive so I had to read manual. Agent was not helpful.

Karen Rebecchi Harmon: Customer service was great and they had a vehicle available within an hour of me calling when everyone else in the area had a 2-4 day wait… however, the vehicle was older and stained and had trash left in it… I had just been rear-ended and my car wasn’t drivable so I had to have something immediately… fine for my last-minute desperation, but not for the 6-8 weeks it’s going to take for my vehicle to be repaired…
And Thaoyong: As a business rental company, I do not understand why Avis cannot provide the ordered car as shown online. I ordered a Toyota Camry; instead, the vehicle provided was a used car Chrysler Touring Sedan. The back wheel spun on itself, which caused me to drive slowly during the trip to Minnesota. My wife and I almost died with this rental car during a storm on the road in Iowa; the vehicle spun on itself and did not maintain the road. No more renting this type of vehicle in the future. I will give Avis another chance to be a faithful customer. Next time, I hope to receive the car that I have ordered.

They had only one agent working and so the care was not given as it should have been as he was suppose to wash, vacuum, and detail cars, plus answer phones and take care of customers. Tim Precht: I asked that the power steering pump get checked out and was assured it would be. I was told a new rack and pinion was installed and irmt was breaking in. Well, the reservoir went dry on the pump and the day after I bought it too. Not happy about that and I drive OTR and can't get back to have it repaired ASAP. Hopefully they will correct this for my daughter and not make me come back to fix something that should have been handled before I bought it

Richard Pitts: I purchased a used KIA with very low mileage and have been taking it to the service department here ever since. Taking a car to a shop, even if for just routine maintenance, has never been a pleasant experience. I'm no car professional (obviously) so there is always that looming thought of people trying to sell you stuff you just don't need.Not here though. The more expensive maintenance is usually something I'm warned about in advance so I have time to plan for it, which is great. The service people aren't pushy and they listen to what I have to say. I hope the service here never changes because I certainly do not want to have to worry about finding a trustworthy place to take my car.

Tim Merson: I was helping my significant other in her search for a new vehicle, and Matt the internet sales guy was great to work with. Ultimately we ended up deciding not to make a purchase at this time, but Matt was straight forward and helped us every step of the way without making us feel pressured. He did his job by informing us of various options, but was never pushy. I've personally purchased close to a dozen cars from dealerships alone, and almost every time feel like far to much of my time was wasted. Matt is a great asset to this dealership, and the entire dealership process would be significantly improved if there were more like him.Also the dealership in general had straight forward pricing without the various nonsense addendums regarding trade in and financing so many places attempt to charge. There are many dealerships I simply will not do business with due to their practices, I can say I wouldn't hesitate to return to Bob Sight.
Liane Vieira: Car sold smelling of smoke!!I recently purchased a car from Bob Sight Kia and would not recommend. My “new” car was delivered with an awful cigarette smell, completely dusty on the inside despite being told it was detailed, and with zero windshield wiper fluid. The sales associates were difficult to get a hold of and the management could care less about their customers. After spending thousands of dollars on a car all we asked is that we were reimbursed for the cost of a new detail and odor remover treatment but the company refused to do even that. They clearly only care about the money here and I wish we had purchased elsewhere.I also emailed the manager as they suggested in the comment below to resolve the issue and never heard back so that is clearly a ruse as well. Don’t do business here.

jcott: Have you ever heard, “Sales gets the first, service gets the rest” (or in this case, doesn’t)?I had a great buying experience but the service department has been gone downhill for the past three years. They are too busy for the size of their facility and they are under staffed. I just spent 20 minutes on hold before I hung up. That isn’t the first time it has happened and in they have hung up on my before. (Not while speaking with me - while on hold, someone disconnected the call.) Simple service requests (oil change) take forever to schedule. God help you if you have a hybrid because there is only one guy who can do that part and he isn’t very good - plan on renting a vehicle if you need repairs. Not only did my husband get a new car at a different dealership, but the whole experience has turned us off of the Kia brand and I will never make a purchase from any Bob Sight dealership again.

Todd S. and Bob both tricked me into signing a contract that included a “Forced Warranty Scam”. Google it - there are articles online all about it. Todd is a sleazy conman (aren’t most salesmen?).Todd had me sign paperwork and said things like “we’re going to throw in oil changes, tire rotations, car maintenance, GAP coverage, etc.” Leaving the impression that these things were going to be covered by Kia, not added as an additional price to the total amount of my car.The funny thing is that people think they get away with being scamming thieves, but they’re going to wish they wouldn’t have messed with a Child of God! There is no rest for the wicked and what you do to others will always come back to you. I have peace knowing that God will handle the both of you.They’re not even worth it. I’m going to report them to the BBB and seek a lawyer to see what my options are. God is going to have the last laugh with these two. Read your contract and don’t let them rush you into signing anything! Stay away from these frauds, especially if you’re black.
Someguy Somewhere: I cannot even begin to explain how disappointed I am with Bob Sight Kia. We have a 2016 Kia soul with 66,000 miles on it that needs the catalytic converter replaced for a third time.66k miles and catalytic converter number 3...We need to now have it towed from Bob Sight to a small mechanic shop in order to save as much money as we can because we simply cannot even afford this repair. We have spent hours on the phone with Kia and with Jeff the service manager and we have given up. The big guys win and the little guys lose.However, we need a car, and unfortunately it looks like it will be about $2400 just to have it running again.66k miles, catalytic converter #3, and somehow this is ok with Bob Sight Kia and with Kia in general.

Matthew Redinger: Everything was fine until my final bill came through. I took the vehicle back a whole day early and the guy at the counter said I’d get back my deposit PLUS money for bringing it back early. It never happened and when I called customer service they said the manager from the local store I went to would be calling me. THAT never happened. So I called the local store myself and the guy I talked to basically was no help. I finally got frustrated and ended the call with him. So basically I paid the same amount for 4 days as the amount they told me for 5 days. Guess I should’ve just kept it the extra day.

Mary Meador: I will never use Hertz again in my life! I rented a car to pick up on May 14th 2023. We had to wait an hour to talk to someone cause they only had 2 employees in the building. 1 I’m back cleaning cars or whatever and 1 very slow lady up front. The place was packed with people picking up reserved cars so I don’t understand why they didn’t have better staffing. With a room full of waiting customers the 1 lady to help customers was texting on her personal phone and accepted a call from what sounded like her daughter. After waiting an hour we were told that they would not rent us a car due to the pin on the credit card changing already. They already took our money and made us wait an hour but would not give us a car. The lady was rude and unprofessional telling us we had to call Hertz corporate ourselves cause they are closing in 5 mins (we got there an hour before they closed) she had no cares about the issues this caused us for our trip. It’s now been 1 1/2 weeks are we are still waiting for our refund. Avis was more then happy to get us into a car that same day and it didn’t even take 15 mins. They will have my car rental business moving forward and I am letting as many people as possible know about the HORRIBLE service at this location from Hertz!

I told them that this vehicle smells of Marijuana... the helper stated that she only could smell the cleaner used to sanitize vehicle. Shar-Ronn Carter: I put my car in the shop to have some work done, my warranty paid for the rental car and the repairs, but Metro Ford only worked with Hertz which is not my first choice. The first representative was rude and condescending and did not give me an option to pick my own car , I ended up having to take a small Kia which made me feel like I was riding in a tuna can. When I returned the car the representative then was very nice he asked me how was my experience I told him about the first representative he apologized and even gave me a ride back to the dealership to pick up my car. With the bad publicity surrounding Hertz, I was uncomfortable renting from them in the first place. The Barney Fife of Customer Service Representatives, only made my anxiety worse.

Tim Roche: Aubree was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and took care of us. Even after being berated by a customer who jumped in front of us. Held her composure perfectly and did what she had to do. I will definitely return because of how well Aubree took care of us.
Kyle Jungbauer: From pickup to drop-off, this location provided the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at literally any business I've ever worked with. Retail, food, construction, sales, anything.The employee that "helped" with my original reservation was condescending and had the attitude of someone whose parents spent their entire life coddling them. So much so, it wouldn't surprise me, if their father owned this specific location and that's how they had gotten this job.My reservation was for a "Ford Focus or similar." I got forced into a Dodge Ram 1500 Bighorn. BIG DIFFERENCE. My trip was for a total mileage around 1000 miles. I burned through quite a bit of gas with the "upgraded package."I was told a debit card with a $0.00 balance due on two utility statements would suffice for payment method rather than a credit card. Wrong.I will take full responsibility for the vehicle being returned with less than a full tank of gas. (as I stated, I burned through some gas) But to have the employee be so INCOMPETENT as to say the gas gauge is at 3/4 of a tank rather than 7/8th and REFUSE to acknowledge they had incorrectly read the fuel level when provided proof of their mistake, was the last straw.I will never again use Budget rentals for any of my needs. Any business I can prevent from using your service will be considered a success I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Adam Naliwajko: Scheduled a truck rental at this location for the day of my move. Got there early and sat around for 20 minutes waiting to be assisted, before being told that their truck system had been down for 4 days and that they could not fulfill my scheduled rental despite having a parking lot full of trucks. They did not inform me prior, despite apparently having this information for days. They delayed my move on a day with an already tight schedule and forced my family to scramble to find a truck in time to complete everything in one day. I tried to take a chance on this location despite the bad reviews and totally shot myself in the foot for not heeding to the warning signs.
Adrianna Burks: We normally rent our cars through a different company but they were sold out so we went through Budget Independence… the price was a little higher but COMPLETELY worth it! I was so concerned with the vehicle I would be given so I called Aubreè and told her my concerns as we were using the car for travel and she was like “I got you” and let me tell you from pick up to drop off she took care of us! we will be using them for all future rental thanks the Aubreè! They made the trip for our wedding so enjoyable in a car that was perfect for our needs.
Tara Jenesse: Picked up a Kia Carnival in Melbourne, FL airport without a agent, it was dirty with damage that hadn’t been marked. I documented the damage with my phone. I reserved online, prepaid for my rental to drop off within a reasonable distance from my house, instead of returning to MCI, for the same rate. Bindy was great checking in my rental and confirming my photos of the preexisting damage I had some anxiety would be a problem. She took care of me!

Allison Swank: The woman working there this morning was an absolute nightmare. She told me because I don't have a paper contract (was never given one) that the car needed to be returned to Avis. I took the car down the road to Avis and they said Budget would need to receive the car and close the contract. I took it back to Budget and she threatened that because I hadn't closed the contract at Avis, I would be charged for every moment that the car sat on her lot at Budget. I tried to get the keys back from her and she wouldn't give them back, she even closed the sliding door on my face when I insisted she give me back the keys.Completely unprovoked, she escalated our exchange to an aggressive state that I haven't experienced before with a person in a customer service position. I even considered calling the police because she withheld a key for a vehicle she said was still in my possession.It resolved with her doing her job and accepting the car and closing the contract - but this was after an hour of driving back and forth between Budget and Avis on Noland Rd. It was so unnecessary. I hope no one else has to go through the same. Her employment there is a very bad look for Budget.

Joshua Breeden Jr: Aubreá was fantastic helping me with my problems on a truck rented out of Arizona; they rented me a truck that did not lock and my wallet was stolen.Upon the return at their location, she immediately called the previous location to acknowledge my dissatisfaction. Even when they weren’t helping me, she went further to call her district manager to figure out a solution. I appreciate all her help!
Jesse Hodge: I have rented from budget many times but this time they have really messed up. I paid the $300+ online to reserve a vehicle for a trip and I even received a phone call the day before confirming my reservation. 5 MINUTES BEFORE I AM SUPPOSE TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE I GET A CALL SAYUNG THEY HAD TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION BECAUSE ANOTHER LOCATION HAD 100 OR SO RENTALS AND THEY NEEDED THEIR VEHICLES MORE THEN ANYONE ELSE I GUESS. I will NEVER rent from budget or Avus since they are the same company. I would rather spend double the price at enterprise knowing I will have a vehicle when I reserve a vehicle because that's how reservations work.
Lasonja Thomas: I rented a car in i called the number on the reciept but was redirected to the call center in which they said they did my extension only to find out they were not surposed to do it that way. Now i get a call today from the Independence location saying that there putting something out on the car because i have not returned it back to there location. I thought the they call center told ther i have extened the rental for a few days. Now the lady is saying all this crazy stuff to me and i'm very upset. I have never rented here before aand stepping outside of Enterprise rental after 10 plus years renting from them never had an issuse with customer service or them following up asking me about there rental car. This issue i have to say i made the wrong decision buy trying Budget has not been a great experience for me. She sadi they do thing differently and i told her that i should have been explained that way and she told me they don't do all of that.. What kind of Customer Service is this we don't explain or contact throughly after hearing that.I am a very upset customer

To say I could not rent a car bc I had just moved into my place and don’t have 2 months of utility bills. Just very disturbing, disrespectful and not trustworthy at all! They also mess with prices when you get the car too, just overall not a good place to rent a car. All of the bad reviews speak for themselves, save yourself trouble just don’t book with them.

(Eventually)Not ONCE was I informed that if I didn't extend, then I would be charged a $75 a day fee for not returning it (or extending, whatever)I will never NEVER EVER rent from this place again!This is highly unacceptable, very rude and VERY unprofessional!

Monica Sanchez: I rented a new Dodge Challenger for 2 wks starting Sept 3 - Sept 17. Car had just over 9k miles. Well my husband and I went on oir roadtrip to Colorado and Nevada. Returning from Nevada driving through Utah on I-15 North just outside of nowhere Beaver, UT all of a sudden the car lost speed and so we had pull over to shoulder. This happened shortly after 12noon. I called ERS and they stated they needed my Rental Agreement number, well I didnt have one because this location is an Independent location therefore it does not assigned a RA# until you return the vehicle. Well long story short, my husband and I were stranded on the side of the highway for 10 hrs!!!! After arguing with customer service and ERS for 6hrs they finally got a replacement car out to me just before 10pm. I have sent several emails and left multiple message for management to call me back and I have yet to get a response or call back. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! They do not take accountability nor do they care about your situation or what you had to endure. Do the right thing Budget and call me back!!!!
Jessie Epperson: I had an awesome experience with this office. I was not only called two days early to ensure I still needed my rental, I was also reminded I was in need of a major credit card (as most rental companies require). I was able to have my dad help me and was told if I bring the truck back early my bill would be adjusted and it was. My truck ran great (actually my dream truck). I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you!
