Peddlers Bicycle Shop: what do users think?
Bruce Farrand: First of all this shop is a fixture in Independence, so is the man behind the counter. I priced a few different bikes today with no pressure at all. Then spent the next hour just talking about vintage BMX and bicycles in general. The selection has everything you could want.
Nicholas Flanigan: Great service, definitely coming back.
Joe Dangelo: Rick is very knowledgeable, friendly and did great work on our old bikes. A great selection of new ones too. Answered all our questions and no pressure sales.
Jesse Cox: Love this place. Classic LBS with a fun guy who gets you in and out with whatever you need. I will be back.
Joe Smith: Rob was great. Got a new bike and had some issues with a tire and assembly and he had us back and going in an hour.
Lisa Langdon: Rick was super awesome and informative! Great bikes at reasonable price. Absolutely love my new bike! Also invited me on they're sleezy ride 😄 Definitely will go back!
Peggy Willman: Great, funny, friendly owner Rick and staff who care about the customer. This is a quaint shop tucked away in Independence. You can tell these guys love what they do for a living. Found the shop as I researched e-bikes. Reasonable prices for bikes both regular and ebike. Was able to take ebike out for a test ride. I was convinced it was for me! I bought a Gazelle Modeo T9 and absolutely love it. Thanks Rick!
Sarah Carey: Superb shop. The owner had been working on bikes since the 1970s and really knows his business. He fitted my son with his new bike, gave him advice about not loaning it out, always keeping it locked up (even for quick breaks), and how to maintain his bike. Also, there is a year of free adjustments/tune-ups. The service here is fantastic - significantly better than any big box or multi-sport store. Even though the prices may seem high, when my son outgrows this bike, it will have higher resale value since the equipment is the best.
Teresa Janc: I take my bike here every spring for a tune up. Great place!
Kat: Customer service as it should be! This place has quality bikes and supplies to go w it. Price is just the same as bikes I found for sale on the internet. Service by an expert in the business, that stands behind his products he sells. When buying a bike here, there are complimentary adjustments made to the bike for up to a year when brought in. Impeccable service!
Chris: The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Dan-O The Mad Scientist: This is a great local shop! The owner is super cool and very knowledgeable! He has an awesome selection of bikes and gear...also repairs and adjustments! Support local!!!
Al Sample: Excellent service!
Becca Boo: They were very friendly and knew exactly what I needed
Mark Willis: Great local bike shop! Rick is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He is reasonably priced and does quality work. Highly recommend Peddlers for all your biking needs and service. They also sponsor a weekly ride around Independence!
Tony Singer: I had major brake failure while visiting family. I called and dropped my bike off on Tuesday and picked it up on Thursday all fixed up. Reasonable prices and very friendly service. He even invited me to join them for their weekly ride.
Jennifer LaNier: Fixed my bike quickly and cheap. Thank you!
Linda OBrien: Had my tubes and tires replaced. Wonderful and friendly service!
Jared V: I was in the market for either a good cleaning and maintenance for my old bike or pulling the trigger on a brand-new bike replacement. Rick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about his products and answered all of my multitude of questions. I ended up buying a new one after considering cost of fixing up my old bike and I couldn't be happier with my new Trek and the service from Rick. I definitely recommend Peddler's for all your bike needs.
Brooke Peer: Very nice service. I had some minor issues with my brakes and he helped me out (no charge) and I checked out some prices while I was there. Very reasonable prices.
Peter Rodriguez: I like the owner there He's very honest with you a sense of humor he's also got very reasonable prices whatever it may be.

Pace Bicycle Haven: what do users think?
H Smith: Mark Pace truly has a Bicycle Heaven.I bought a TridentTrikes Spike 380 Tadpole style Recumbent from him. He'd custom laced the Enviolo hub on a better than stock wheel. He put an Efneo GTRO Gearbox in for the crankset replacement. With no derailleurs, I have a chain line with single cogs on the front and back. No thrown chains, cross chaining or jammed gears etc, it's all internal gearing. My selection of shifting methods was seen to, ring twist on the Envolio 380 and click buttons on the Efneo. Crank length as I prefer it at 170 mm.All in all, he took the excellent entry level Tadpole and made me a wonderful starter Trike. Even with the customizations, I have quality at a much lower price than some other brands would cost.Three cheers for Pace Bicycle Heaven.
Mike Groves: There are places that sell bikes, repair bike and maintain bikes. With Mark, he brings to the table a knowledge and understanding that only with experience and challenging convention. He has the ability to see possibility and improvements were others would say it can't be done. For all my projects, Mark is only person that I trust regarding can it be done questions or would it be possible.
Karen Rodriguez: Coolest people around!!!
Keri Shoff: Took my bike in for some new tires and a tune up. Again received the best friendly service. Also learned more about different kinds of bikes. Just a great place and a great guy. Thank you!
Geoffrey Jay: Very helpful and will work with you on what you need.
Mac Chastain: Great custom bicycle shop. Friendly and knowledgeable.
Dale Vits: Mark (the owner) is very knowledgeable about bicycles of all types vintage and current trends and an expert bicycle mechanic. Prices are very fair and service is very friendly. The best home town bicycle shop in Independence Missouri just off the square.
Ron Harmon: Mark really knows his stuff. He can see what needs to be done and with precision make the bike even better than it was new. He is always looking for how to improve your riding experience. He is responsive, always takes the time to talk with you and I feel reasonably priced for the value he provides. He also has some amazing bikes he buys and then enhances.
Jesse Hart: AWESOME people and AWESOME store! Highly recommend!
Ian Hardin: Mark is an absolute genius. ZERO bike shop "attitude,"Just a desire to solve problems and get you riding!
Travis Ethridge: Awesome Bicycle Shop with some neat classic bikes and things I've never seen. Mark, the owner was super friendly, knowledgeable, and had a story for just about anything bike related. Do call before going because, as Mark stated, his hours of operation are "sketchy". Loved the vibe and feel of shop, Thanks Mark!
justin jones: Super friendly owner, quality work.
Robert James: Enjoyed the owner thoroughly
Kyle P.: Phenomenal place to do business, Mark was very knowledgeable & professional. Superb transaction!
Angela Rouviere: Great service!
Bob Olwig: Great service! Thanks Mark!
Mike and Karen Wright: Mark is a mechanical genius and can perform any bike repair, build any custom bike or set of wheels. He's the best mechanic in Kansas City by far.
Michael Elliott: I would rate this shop a 5 star the owner is an amazing guy he will work with u he give fair and honest prices and he can give u a esimate on how much itwould cost to fix repair etc on your bike

Bike Stop Bicycle Store: what do users think?
Aaron WALKER: AMAZING SERVICE, have stopped in a few time for some purchase and just to shop around, always friendly staff, even if you have no idea about bikes, they are there to help with any question. Great prices. Loyal customer for life.
Thomas Yeoman: Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. They have a great inventory of bicycle related items, parts and gear.
William Mort: Love this store. Bought my bike a year ago and will buy more from them again. Extremely knowledgeable & friendly. Came in today shopping for some advice. Very helpful.
Custom Connections Stewart: These guys are always friendly and great. Wednesday night I called them at 4:45 about getting a new chain put on my mountain bike, they told to bring it up and would have it ready the next day. So I drove up there and they changed it immediately, allowing me to be back on jacomo mountain bike trail by 5:40. Service just doesn't get any better they are awesome.P.s.They are always willing to talk about cool bike trails and experiences around the city to.
Candie Sinnott: I didn't catch the ladies name who sold me my Specialized Women's Comfort Step In Bike, but she was great. She helped me pick the bike of my choice along with the color I wanted.I just gave birth to a baby girl who has since passed on, and the color I chose was to represent my baby girl. That way when I go ride, she will always be with me! Thank y'all!
T Borden: How do they stay in business. Bought a tool from and it broke the first time used and my new chain made useless in the process. Got a "sorry" we don't replace tools. Neither did they replace chain. Had to purchase another chain and another tool. Really poor didn't even offer a discount for "my" problem. Will never be back.
clarence morrissey: Just purchased our 4th bike from this business. Customer service at it's best, quality products!!
Derek Johnson: The only place to get a bike in KC.
Ashton West: A friendly reminder of what customer service is in 2022. Thanks for all your help guys.
matt crowe: Friendly and very helpful. Very knowledgeable.
Ross Bryson: These guys are awesome! Super friendly, very knowledgeable, and they step right up to help you out.
Michael Hiebert: This is a great bike store. My wife found herself a st bike. Thank you for service
Remy Turpin: This is by far the best bike shop in the Kansas City area, they have the best prices and the staff knows anything and everything you want to ask them!
Scott Goodman: I have now purchased three bikes from the Bike Stop in Blue Springs and it has always been a great experience. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. When I have needed repairs, they take the time to listen, answer my questions, and talk trails. They seem to be as excited about my riding as I am! Go see them today!!
KH Lim: Great service. The guys treat people right from the moment you step in the store. Prices aren't bad either.
evan bateman: Great service. Fella stayed late to build the bike. Picked it up Saturday night after closing time.
Jon Dilley: The Bike Stop in Blue Springs isn't your average LBS (local bike shop). Every single Bike Stop team member I've interacted with has gone beyond being just "happy to help" and takes personal responsibility for my bicycle-related happiness. Whether I am just randomly shopping after a trail ride or coming in with specific questions about their large selection of available products, I have always felt understood; I know that I am getting individual advice, not a sales pitch. We have all been to shops that cater to a specific kind of rider: the roadie, the commuter, the trail boss, but at Bike Stop Blue Springs, they fluently speak the language of every customer that comes in because they listen to the person and their needs. I have been a customer since 2009 and am happy that I can still count on Ryan, Chris, Renee, and the rest of the Bike Stop Blue Springs crew.
Hannah Noel: I’m so impressed by the quality of people at both this location and the one in LS. They went so above and beyond for me by staying after hours and even driving a part from LS to Blue Springs so that I could have my shoes assembled and ride that day. Highly highly highly recommend.
Rafael Escobar: Gr8 place, well stocked and friendly helpful people
Matthew Sexter: After searching high and low for a Medium mountain bike, this store miraculously had one! Ryan talked to me on the phone and it was honestly a breath of fresh air to hear someone is still passionate about bicycles during this shortage. Highly recommend this store!
Kyle Elliott: Awesome customer service!!!!!

Cycle City: what do users think?
Mauricio Gris: Has a lot of great bike stuff
Mark Mcmahan: Great people
Gary Wright: The young man who helped me today was very knowledgeable. Thank you for your help
Justin Tanner: Best shop around to snag a bike! Joe and his crew have helped us with so many bikes over the years and every time the experience has been exactly what we hoped for. They have helped us with a few adult bikes as well as smaller setups for our little ones! Amazing store with a couple locations filled with inventory to choose from and an awesome staff!
Paul Anderson: I took my bike in after trying to work on it myself and failing. I couldn't have asked for a better shop to fix up my bike. Very friendly and very reasonable!
Kendra Harris: So I am not a cyclist. I really know nothing about bikes, but when I went to this shop to get a bike I felt like I was part of the club. Ryan helped us out! I said I just needed a bike that will work for rides I want to do with my kids and this is my price point. He was great explaining what matters in a bike and what the differences are. I test drove a few and then was out the door with the bike I liked best and a whole lot more knowledge on the subject. Totally worth it, amazing service, thanks Ryan!
Stephen Walker: Great bike shop that carries high quality bikes and accessories. I appreciated the opportunity to test ride some bikes without being pressured to make an immediate decision. Staff is exceptionally friendly and concentrates on the cycling community. Great shop!
Steven Ricketts: Louise worked on my bike, he gave me great advice, he helped me learn more about my bike. Awesome job! I just got off of my bike and it feels awesome.
Eric McCollom: Great service and buying experiences here.
Brian: They repaired my tire for free. They have a great selection of bikes and accessories for bikes. Great customer service. Go here for all need for your bike or to buy a new bikeTony had a great deal of knowledge about bikes and have fair price.
chad albus: Great guys willing to be helpful which means a lot.
John Swafford: Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
John Nickell: I've been coming back to the shop for almost 16 years. Between my wife and I we've bought 6 bikes over the years. Through it all we've had great service from everyone on the team, and always feel welcome when we arrive.Everyone that asks, I will refer to Cycle City. They've never been pushy, and they understand that everyone's not looking for the same kind of bike. They've been patient when I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong, or didn't know exactly what I wanted.
Cooper Harris: been here before for mtb and is good, but do you guys sell bmx and if so what brands
Craig Finley: Just bought my first road bike in years, awesome place first of all and extremely patient and helpful!! Thanks, looking forward to warmer weather and putting miles on my new Felt!
Dan Powell: Went there, look at a bike and found one I really liked. Left and check out a few other stores but ended up going back to cycle City. Very very friendly and helpful. Great people who love biking
Matthew Perry: I know nothing about riding with regards to racing on a bike. That said, I’ve decided to train for an Ironman this year. I went to Cycle City and Ryan not only helped me to find the right bike and equipment for training but was super patient, and took the time to answer every question without me feeling like an idiot.Excellent service, great quality products, and competitive prices. A quality store with not only the products, but the knowledge to back it up.
Josh Murphy: Cycle City was great to work with! I reached out to them after hours on Facebook Messenger with a question and they replied quickly. I came into their shop and everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. Ultimately I didn't end up buying a bike from them, but that can be chalked up to pandemic supply chain issues (I wanted an alloy frame and they had carbon in my size). Highly recommended.
Joe Denison: These place is GREAT! They’ve taken care of all my needs: helping me think through what bike would be best for me, making the purchase easy and making sure that everything was correctly assembled/adjusted, and gave endless encouragement and advice on nearby trails and where to start. I’ve been back several times to get accessories and they always take the time to explain and help me find what I need. I really appreciate the personal attention they give and the passion they have for what they do.
Marcus Wirsig: Joe and the Cycle City team are pretty awesome. The wife and I have purchased multiple bikes from CC at a fair price and they were very helpful when I converted one of my wife’s bikes to a 1x.
Steven McAllister: My favorite go-to bike shop. Love that they aren't trying to upsell you. Bought shoes, trailer and had repairs done here. Love it!

Waldo Bikes: what do users think?
Garrett Spruiel: Terrible over the phone customer service, shop isn’t open so it’s the only way to communicate. Older guy sticking to his old ways of maintenance.
C: Dave is eccentric, knows the history of the brands of bicycles in the world. He is efficient, offers good prices, excellent repair turnaround and bike tune ups. No upselling or unnecessary repairs. Because of Covid and Covid variants, his business model is changed to appointment only. This information is posted on the back door entrance. Call ahead for an appointment for repairs. No new bikes are for sale presently.
Joshua Concannon: Poor customer service
Diogo Roldão: Great guy. He know his stuffs. He is there for many decades. One of the few remaining small owner-ran bike stores in town
Jordan Wilson: Was looking to buy a bike from a local business, but the guy just standing behind the counter, didn't seem to keen on selling to me let alone even coming in to look at a bike [yes I had a mask for building entry]. I guess it's just easier going to a big chain store like Walmart or Target 🤷🏿‍♀️
Waleed Mubark: Very bad store, it's closed and shows it's open. Very bad avey bad.
C Allen: Dave is awesome. Experience and honesty. Prices are good, too.
Ellen S: We found this place on line and hoped to find a couple of used bikes. We went last week to check them out, only to find a sign on the door saying they were not doing in store shopping, only repairs. I understand why, but a statement on their website would have been nice which is why I'm posting this here, as I know bikes are a hot commodity right now.
Cooper Brown: Friendly, fast, affordable service
Ming Zhong: I took my $1500 scott MTB in this location 2 years ago for tune up, I rode bike first time last week since it was tuned up, then I found my front brake didn't work at all, I suddenly recalled that he said hydraulic fluid leaking a lot during tune up, I was wondering why... this is why, not quite experienced service, it was cheap through, only cost me $40, then this is what I got... If you got an expensive MTB like I do, use certified dealership for tune up.
Bob C: Closed to public. By appointment only. So it was a wasted trip
Dan Quarles: Extremely fair pricing and quality service. All other bike places were 30-45 days out for a tune up. Dave was able to get my bike in the shop that day. Very affordable tune up and he even diagnosed my shifting issue (busted front derailleur), and held onto my bike until I ordered and received a new one that Dave suggested. He could have ordered it and charged a markup, but he didn't. Dave then included the derailleur installation as a part of a tune up with no extra charge. I had my bike tuned up with a new derailleur in less than 10 total days, for 50% of what it would have costed elsewhere in KC. I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else.
Jeff Shipman: No water bottles that double as kickstands
Boz Morrow: In and out with a fix.
Adam Blinn: Terrible customer service. If you're not a bike expert, I don't recommend going here.
Susan Shank: Stopped by Waldo Bikes today to purchase a set of foot pedal cages for my husband's bike. The young guy working there was very helpful, explained all my options, and in the end offered me a pair of used foot straps that worked perfectly. It was a GREAT experience from a local business that's trying to make improvements in customer service and deserves a chance.
Cheryl Burbach: They are always so helpful and never make me feel bad for my lack of knowledge. Great service. My daughter wants me to emphasize that they are kind. Lol
Angela Shae: The owner was so nice to myself and my 11 year old son when we took our bike in for repair. I wouldn't go anyplace else. He tells it like it is and does great quick work! Some people don't like his straight forwardness but that's what was so endearing to us.
Laura Howard: Dave (the owner) is a super nice guy and has been in business in Waldo forever. I got good service, good tune-ups, good rates and a good chat with him. I'm happy to patronize this shop because it's locally owned and old-school. He's there because he wants to be there and will give you a fair price and honest service.
Angela Mary: Got a nice fitting helmet for a decent price.
Joe Hendrickson: I have been doing business with Dave for over 20 years. He always treats me fair and services my bikes as needed. His employees are always friendly and helpful.
