Prat Kale: This place went from good to worst after pandemic. They used to serve salad with shwarma rice bowl which they don't anymore. Prices went up almost 20%-30% on every item. Quanty of bowl they served shwarma was considerably smaller size than they used to. Chicken was extemely dry. Rice tasted like Mexican rice instead of nice long grain fluffy mildly flavored rice. Falafel wrap was ok. Total disappointment.

Jean Goss: Edit in response to owner: There may be a sign on the register but I placed my card in a free standing square not attached to the register. 4% also seems higher than the standard charge of 1 to 3.5% for using a card. The food I ordered was tasty and the only employee I saw was very nice. However, there will be 4% upcharge on your bill when using your debit card. More reasons to go back to cash.

Lee Running: Update: 5/17/23. Ate here for the 1st time since last year and the new ownership appaears to be failing badly. I gave it a 5 last time, now it is a 1 ( or less). I've never seen a restaurant's quality deteriorate so greatly after a change of ownership. The gyros I got today was god awful. Less than half the meat as under the old ownership, terrible tzatziki sauce and tiny tomatos slices (slices!). Beware: this not the old Gyros Grill.Best gyros I've found in Kansas City and at a very reasonable price. Only place I go now for gyros. And quite friendly staff.

Jim Beach: Absolutely great food! We had the Dolmades, Greek Gyro and Quesadilla. #YUM 😋 Elaine helped us go over the menu after a pleasant welcome and greeting! She went over the details of particular items that we were not familiar with, the quesadilla for example, and politely helped us pronounce items after we butchered the name. Elaine was very sweet! I was in a rush as I was trying to get to work and didn't have time to finish the meal so I asked a woman, whom I thought worked there, if she could get us a couple boxes. She obliged and was very friendly. I found out, later, that she was the owner's mother. The food was incredible and I cannot wait to go back and try other items on the menu!
I Zeilinger: New owners recently who are still friendly and provided a good atmosphere. I went after a rush from the draft so they were out of somethings, but I think onces everything stabilizes and a normal amount of people visit this will be a consistent place to go to.

Behnaz n: Just to respond back, the food was ordered at your restaurant IN PERSON and I live only 5 minutes away from your restaurant.The food simply isn’t the same anymore since the original owners of this place and never will be. Quality, portion and taste wise also over priced. Ordered about $45 worth of food for two people and very disappointed. One of the orders was the Philly Gyro which was very soggy/oily and the pit bread was all wet falling apart by the time I got home and nothing close to the original Philly gyro I used to get. Portion of the food on both orders was very poor for the price charged and the rice was super dry and disgusting. Don’t even get me started on the sambusa’s that costs $10 for 4 very small pieces. Won’t be coming back for sure.

Ross Liberto: First time here. Got hummis, falafel, and kibbeh for appetizers and lamb biryani for an entree. The kibbeh is a MUST. Be careful at when checking out because there is a full display of all their sweets and pastries and you’ll be tempted to get one of everything. I was tempted into adding a slice of fresh apple pie. Lyric DeNoyer: I honestly hate being a hater but I’m still really let down by the service I received. My friends talked this place up SO highly and maybe that’s half the problem but they got my food wrong, weren’t very kind about it, hardly fixed the situation after making me wait FOREVER, and just yeah… the whole situation really turned me off. I’m sure if you eat meat you haven’t had a problem but they’re clearly less than mindful of vegetarians. I personally, would just recommend Jerusalem cafe. This just isn’t worth the disappointment. Ciera Duban: I always get the falafel wrap and it is always 10/10. Great balance of crispy falafel, fresh tomato, and cool taziki. I recently tried their hummus and pita and it is also great. I forget that a well made hummus tastes 1000x better than what you can get at the store.

Joe Davies: Melted a lot of holes in the container. Need to put something under the fries for “to-go” orders. Eating the contents of a melted foam container one time is unlikely to cause harm; however, repeated exposure, which can be cumulative, can be a health risk.

Ajay Thamban: Overpriced and not very good. The food was clean but bland. Spoons looked like used for 1000 years . I went to a ton of middle eastern restaurants in Michigan and Ohio. This one is in not in the top 25 I tried for sure. The lentil soup I got was basically too tangy and I returned it. The Zatar Manakeesh was awesome though. That's why two stars . And the 11.75% tax Missouri put on food is ridiculously high.
