Sky View Steel: If I could give this guy 0 stars I would. Terrible and I mean terrible, service, communication and workmanship. Showed up a day late, worked half the day, then did not communicate the next day about finishing the work. Then had the audacity to bug me about payment after I never even got an invoice. AVOID THIS CLOWN SHOW
Matt Hite: Called them up and scheduled to come out to repair a lift we had that was broke. That day came no show no call no nothing!! Called Scott’s and they came right out.
David Carsten: Chis was a no call no show. I tried calling and it went straight to voicemail and no response to a text. I suggest not wasting your valuable time like I did.
Jared Richardson: Had a small patch job on my small boat, owner told me $125 an hr. He then sent me an invoice that he logged as 2.25 hrs of time, but when reviewing my Ring footage he was there an hr. Nevermind the subpar work that i couldve done better at, but when I asked about how much time it really was the owner said it took him 30 min to drive from his house that he calls a "shop", then 30 mins back to his "shop", and 15 mins to write an invoice. We paid him to avoid any sort of conflict, & because the owner gave me a story about his wallet being stolen, etc.Side note: the welding job before mentioned did in fact leak on the boat. $315 for absolutely nothing
Not My World Not My People: I drove all over the city looking for somebody to do the welding I needed and everyone made excuses except for this guy. He was flexible with me and he got the job done and he did a quality job without making any excuses. I won't be calling anyone else from now on.

Roy Dub: My wife and I were on a very long road trip in our RV. We ran into trouble and needed some welding done in Branson Missouri. We called and he came out at 9 pm and worked until 1 am. Highly recommend this company.
Bill Mickey: Contacted Chris about a farm implement that I needed some modifications on, and some metal I needed welded to our fence to hold a sign. It took a little longer than expected, but he finished even though it was dark out. Both jobs look great, will definitely use him again.

Work Adventures: Chris did excellent job I my cars exhaust late at night, his price was very fair for professional that he is. If I am in the area and I need welding he is on my speed dial (if someone still uses those) also I will tell friends in the area of Chris, he is awesome.

Scott Pfeiffer: We had a flimsy bumper on our RV fail under the recommended load for a cargo carrier on the first leg of our 5,000 mile trip from Illinois to California and back.With about 12 hours notice, we were able to get not only a fix, but an upgrade to our trailer accessory.Chris came prepared with a new tube to span frame-to-frame and a new receiver for the hitch.He got us back on the road with only minor delays. The work is clean and neat, and the cost was as expected. Thanks for the roadside assist Chris!
Immanuel Gardner: Awesome guy! Came out same day they were called to weld a gaming chair for me. Unfortunately, the chair was made with inferior materials so, though the welds were done to perfection, the original material around the welds didn't hold up. C&L refunded half the cost after discussing in detail what would be needed to truly fix the chair. He didn't have to do that since he essentially did exactly what he was asked and went above and beyond to help find a solution.

clifford kennemer: He came out and gave and assured me he could complete my welding job. He further assured me if I was not satisfied or the job was completed correctly he would redo it. He could not complete the job as he said he could. It took numerous times calling and texting to get him to respond. Every time he came out we had to pay more money. When I questioned him about not being able to complete the welding job he had insisted he had done before he became very rude and cursed and made excuses as to why he had not completed it.I finally blocked him. I would never advise anyone to use this company. They might be able to do small welding jobs, but larger jobs are apparently out of his expertise.

Behind the times guy: I was recommended Advanced Welding by a marine repair shop. I asked if they could weld up a small hair-line crack in the bottom of a jon boat, and without even looking at it they said "they would pass". Alright then...

Wheeler Garage: Hands down this has to be one the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I went in to purchase a $9 roll of wire. When I got the bill the total was over $15. I assumed I misread the label on the shelf and paid the bill. When they handed me the receipt there was a $4.99 hazmat charge. I questioned the salesman about the amount and his response was that is their minimum charge. Another women working at the front counter suggested I talk to the branch manager John I believe was his name. Up to this point the service was fine but I wasn't ok with paying over 50% of the cost the supply in a fee. Once the branch manager was off the phone I told him that the amount for the hazmat charge was too much. He proceeded to tell me that every place in town charges that amount. My response was Airgas didn't charge near that much. Theirs was 10% and their customer service is better also. At this point, while at the front counter, he calls Airgas to talk to his buddies to see if they charge a hazmat fee and surprise they do. I reiterated that I wasn't arguing that they charge a fee but I assured him it wasn't near the amount that Praxair did. At this point I asked for a refund and that is the last time I will go to that store. I'm sure others have had a good experiences but when I am treated this way, by a manager no less, I will not spend my money with them and I think others should be advised.

Carlos Danger: Terrible craftsmanship, Snarky confrontational attitude, argumentative. I wanted a kayak rack that was basically a square roll cage, simple. What I got was a leaning tower that was off by a complete inch top to bottom (see pictures). When I brought this up I was told the poor quality of Keven Rubles work was my trailers fault (which I left for Kevin to custom fit the rack on). The guy doesn't listen, argues about concepts like 90 degree angles (seriously), and he even took creative liberties on my design (removed some support beams, added others, then charged me extra!).He kept arguing about why it was leaning (claims its not his fault) but said he would fix it. After 10 days and no call I told him I didn't have time to wait and found another welder, wanted the extra materials I PAID FOR (he kept those for his own use), and I wanted a price adjustment because I was having to pay someone to clean up his work. Those basic request set him off and it was downhill from there.Kevin Ruble might be able to weld a bead but knows nothing about using a tape measure or running a business. Hes nice at first but NEVER question him or you get the fury. His Facebook page (no website) reads like hes the most interesting man in the world. The reality is his ambitions far exceed his ability and his customer service is absolutely the most toxic ive ever experienced in my life.

Roger W: This is the first time I've ever visited AWG and right away I was greeted and helped. I came in looking for a welding helmet lens and they had exactly what I needed. The manager and employees took the time to explain what options were available for my hood and even explained differences between other hoods, brands, and options. One thing I appreciate is the fact that they didn't want to just sell me something and get me on my way but took the time to discuss in detail what is really going to work best for me as a student in school; I appreciate their honesty. I have been to other places in town and have been treated nice but here they go a step beyond and actively listen to help you purchase the best product to match your needs. Hands down this is a great place to shop and will be the place I buy my supplies from here on out. I will recommend AWG to everyone.

I'm not a professional welder and the other guy's in town didn't have any patience with me and well treated me like I was a bother to them. I will likely be looking for a better fit for my needs. Another employee was disparaging about Chinese people.
