Michelle Scott: I have been doing online training with Dylan Harris for about 7 months. I had been doing consistent weight lifting for about 18 mo with out much results so I reached out to Dylan. I have lost about 5% body fat and gained a lot of muscle and strength and lost about 16 pounds. The weight loss has not been fast but my body is transforming into the best body of my life. I am 56 years old and in best shape of my life. Dylan is aware that I am 56 and he customizes my work outs to me. However, he does not let me use my age as an excuse. Dylan has challenged me the last 7 months. He has made me realize that I can do things that I always thought I couldn’t do. I would 100% recommend training with Dylan and SSC!

Springfield Strength and Conditioning is a place exactly like that. I train about 5 – 6 times a week with consistently positive Coach Dalyn Trippe and awesome GYM participants who have created a perfect workout environment at SSC Weightlifting. In that time, I have gone from being new to the Olympic movements with zero experience to being strong and confident. My coach demonstrates patience in teaching the correct technique of the sport with a positive approach. By designing a customized program just for me, He helped me achieve heavy lifts with better technic while remaining injury-free. Coach Trippe prioritized asking how my body felt, then adjusted the lifts or added accessory work. As a result: Excellent personal training. Trainers who care and go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals. A small and private gym that feels more personal. Highly recommended!

The overwhelming support members receive throughout their fitness endeavors and personal lives cannot be replaced or replicated.SSC Weightlifting is a small yet vital piece to the puzzle. Let’s be honest, weightlifting is just damn fun to watch. From the outside looking in you get mesmerized by the pure athleticism of the sport. Over the years head coach Dalyn Trippe has spent countless hrs studying the sport in fine detail and continues to perfect his craft in high hopes to spread that knowledge to his athletes. Many adults and youth have substantially grown as individuals under his coaching and leadership.The body can do amazing things and weightlifting is one of the purest depictions of that. SSC can be loud, explosive and comforting all at the same time. It’s a whole damn vibe. Don’t sleep on SSC.
Briley Smith: I have been here for around 3.5 years. By far the most welcoming gym in Springfield. Banter, conversations, and friendships will be made here. Any questions you might have, can and will be answered by the coaches. 24/7 access makes it easy for anyone to get it in. Equipment is in great condition. If something is broken, it won’t be for long. SSC has a little bit of everything for everyone. Very happy that I was able to find this place.
Karl Greiner: Best GYM in town! The coaches are great and care about you and the progress you want to make. The members are friendly and inclusive. I started weightlifting under Dalyn, and he programmed my training for me and my level. I have never done the lifts before and I feel supported and challenged every time I go! If you’re looking to start weightlifting or getting back into it, Dalyn and SSC is the place to be!
Owyn Spyders: By far one of the best gyms I’ve been to in Springfield, MO. The environment is very interactive and the coaches, athletic trainers, and other members have made me feel so welcomed. 10/10 would recommend!
Brayden Mcbride: At SSC the weightlifting program is really awesome for everyone starting off with Dalyn. Dalyn is probably one of the best coaches I’ve ever had because he has a side to him that can help you and be on you and hold you accountable. He also has a side where it makes you want to learn about him more as person than a coach. The weightlifting community at SSC is very welcoming to all people everyone who is in it is very nice. Like whenever I first joined it I thought wasn’t really going to fit in to it but everyone in the club really made me feel like it was a second home for me. And people can join and go at there own times for me I do Baseball for school and summer so I’m pretty busy during this time but dalyn and me have worked and we have a good schedule for me to work with during season. Anyone who might be deciding if they want to do it or not personally should do it if they don’t I feel like they would be missing out on a great opportunity to meet new people and be apart of a great community at SSC

Jojo M.: SSC has been the most welcoming gym environment- I trained here all of 2021 prior to moving away, and it's one thing I miss about Missouri. I've done personal training with primarily Dylan and he's helped with everything from just shedding a few pounds to manage my diabetes, addressing pain and injury prevention and helped me condition for a club sport try out. Great community here, other trainers I've worked with were great too. I saw major results losing weight, feeling stronger, and making the team!The primary thing that stuck out to me is that I moved to the area before covid vaccines were easily accessible, and I met with several personal trainers who refused to wear a mask when I asked. Dylan was extremely respectful when I preferred to have us both wear masks until I was vaccinated since I'm high risk. Rather than feeling judged for wearing a mask, a few members even came up to me and introduced themselves when I was new. While the whole mask thing was a small gesture, it truly made me feel respected and safe. Absolutely great community - I've seen everyone in the gym from first timers training to competitive lifters, everyone is always so kind and respectful.While I've moved away - I still follow SSC on social media, and it's amazing watching them grow and continuously improve. The owners and coaches put so much care into the gym and its members and deserve all the hype!(not sure what happened to my old review, I think it was accidentally deleted...but I felt compelled to re-share my experience!)
Shea Marshall: Troy has been an excellent trainer over the last year I've been working with him. I came as a complete newbie to the gym, struggling with chronic inflammation and pain from a past injury, and he has helped me regain mobility and a better quality of life. He listens and genuinely cares about my goals. The trainers and members are kind and accepting of everyone who walks in the door. I would wholeheartedly recommend Springfield Strength and Conditioning for adult performance training as well as any other needs you may have.

Very knowledgeable S&C and top tier equipment here.I stopped by because I was visiting my dad and grandma for the holidays. I train Olympic weightlifting and it was a joy to see blocks and jerk tables as well as quality bars and bumper plates!

LaLo Contreras: I am from Arkansas and over the last two years whenever I would pass through Springfield or even stay in Branson I would always make it a priority to drop in! This gym has everything that I’ve needed to knock out my training! On top of that all of the staff here have been very welcoming! Absolutely love coming here when I’m in town!

David B Norman: Amazing gym. The staff is welcoming and kind and wants to teach their customers how to be fit, strong, and knowledgeable concerning their personal fitness goals. While there, I have never felt out of place, or uncomfortable about exercising. The overall vibe the owner and trainers create is one that fosters friendliness and genuine determination to push yourself. I cannot recommend this gym enough.

Tate Davis: Went to Royal for about 6 months. I enjoyed most of my time there, but ended up leaving because I felt like I was paying more for less. I mostly do bodybuilding programs and the gym seemed more suited for strongman/crossfit. Most of the equipment is older and of varying quality. Some machines/plates are spray painted to cover rust.I had some difficulty canceling my membership and ended up getting charged for 2 months after I had already turned in my key fobs. I Didn't have a great experience with management/the owner when I tried to dispute the issue.

Im really bad with names but the guy working there today made me feel welcome during the tour without being overbearing which was nice. Also they have a great variety of equipment that’s of good quality. They’ve got something for everyone here. Also while I have social anxiety it was nice to see the staff and members having real conversations. This place has great vibes.
