Developmental Learning Center: what do users think?
Ninsun Baldwin: Horrible experience for our daughter, would not recommend. Our child was not treated kindly by other students parents, or teaching staff. The teachers did little to stop the absolutely ridiculous rumours and uncalled for ostracising. They took a happy, smart, well rounded, kind hearted individual and made her apprehensive to go to school. A child that loved learning! Lucky for us we had the resources to send her to an amazing kindergarten that help her overcome the damage this school inflected on her in the six months she attended. We pulled her as soon as we had her kindergarten application was accepted. If you’re not religious, don’t go here.
Jonel-Louise Grigson: DLC is a wonderful school. I love their preschool programs but am so thankful for their Kindergarten program. I love the small class size and the half day Kindergarten. They are excellent in academics but also really care about the whole child’s development. If it wasn’t for them my oldest would not be where he is today
Chloe Huff: Their indoor merry-go-round was the best. I played on it almost everyday when I was younger. If you remember what it looks like message me.
DJ: Great school!
Missy Wade: We love DLC!! We sent all five of our kids there and had the most amazing experience. The staff is wonderful and I felt very comfortable with my tiny children being in their care. We've outgrown the age group and I miss that school dearly. The education they received was above and beyond.
root pass: Excellent Music Programs with the young ones. We just Love the Teachers :)

All About Kids Academy: what do users think?
Kayla Morris Pettit: I have been with them for almost 7 years and wouldn't want my kids to go anywhere else! Everyone is always so friendly and has become like family to us 2 kids later and I am so glad to have found such an amazing daycare!
Lisa Arroya: If your child has any challenging behaviors such as sensory seeking or is easily over-stimulated this isn't the daycare for your child. They will neglect your child. When you have therapist come in to work with your child they don't follow any of their suggestions or recommendations to help your child. They don't communicate that there's even an issue. My child was kicked out via text message instead of having a face to face conversation with me. The staff would tell me that my son had a good day and then I'm told different in the text removing him. Either the staff lied or the director and owner did. I didn't have incident reports for 2 months then magically his last 3 days (after being informed he was no longer going to be able to attend after that week) I received 9 on his last day. I tried calling them the night I received the text messages and they refused to answer the phone or call me back. Every time I asked or brought something up in text messages I was given another excuse. This was handled very unprofessionally and I lost all respect for this daycare. They wrote my son off without giving the therapy a chance to work. I'm still struggling to find daycare for my son and it has set him back because he doesn't understand why he can't go there anymore. He misses Abbey very much. She was amazing with him and they had a great bond. I won't recommend this place to anyone after the treatment we received.
Carolyn Boydstun: My son has been going there for two years. We have always had a great experience.
DARREN WAKE: Having my kid here is a stress relief. I know they are taken care of and get to play with other kids. Staff is always so friendly and says mine and my kids names when we enter the building. I do feel at ease with leaving my kid with them knowing he will be well taken care of. This is the best daycare I have had by far.
Kylie Harris: I want to start by saying that the one star does not reflect on the staff who directly took care of my daughter. They were always very kind and I could tell that they cared about her, she has a difficult drop off in the morning with lots of crying and clinginess, but the staff always tried to comfort her and make it an easy drop off. In the beginning management was really great, they worked with me with payments, they had really good hours for someone who worked long shifts. However towards the end of almost 2 years of my daughter going here we encountered some pretty major issues that feel extremely shady to me. The first one being that they required a two week notice for my daughter to leave. We thought it was strange but we complied. And then the last week that she attended this daycare we were informed that for 19 weeks we had been getting under billed, and they tried to hit us with about $1,700 worth of charges. For one I don't know what kind of bookkeeping they have but 19 weeks is a very long time to under bill someone. Secondly, we were told if we did not pay the full balance within 30 days we would be taken to small claims court. However in text message the owner admitted to my daughter's dad that she knew they weren't getting paid when he asked. Just seems very convenient that as soon as we put two weeks notice in we get hit with this astronomical bill and I can't help but Wonder how long would they have let this go on had we not put two weeks notice in. Seems almost vindictive to me. Mind you we did not pull our daughter out for any reason in particular other than she had been on a waiting list for another daycare for a very long time and her spot finally came open, because as I stated above we were not dissatisfied with the care that the workers provided, we were however getting very frustrated because this building tends to close a lot for covid flu and weather with little to no warning. Leaving us to scramble trying to find someone to watch her or have to miss work ourselves. And still get billed for days that she wasn't there, because "bad weather days are built into the rate". Again this review is not reflecting poorly on the staff but it does reflect poorly on the owner. Balances are paid through personal venmo accounts, communication is through text message, they had us download an app to get updates about our daughter throughout the day and that lasted a whole week before we stopped getting any updates whatsoever. I think that some people get into the daycare business because they truly love children however the owner of this establishment clearly could care less about the children and is more in it for profit and trying to use covid and miscommunication from the state to try and squeeze an extra $1,700 out of working class families.
Andrew Brown: My daughter went here for a couple years. Started out okay. Always had an issue with how incredibly dirty she would be when picking her up or how often her pull ups/ diaper was changed. In the end after we put in a two week notice, they became extremely shady and hit us with a massive bill. Saying that they never adjusted our weekly rate months ago, and that we should have been charged this amount all along. Apparently that became our fault in the end 🙄. Would never recommend this dirty, unprofessional place to anyone.
Jessica Cannon: Where do I start? I’m a stepmom and I was very dissatisfied with this place. Let me start with the good. The staff in the rooms where always kind during pickup and drop off. That’s about it!My step daughter always looked like she had been rolling around in the dirt, playing in paint/markers, whatever they seemed to let her get into every time we picked her up. The cleanliness wasn’t up to our standards at all. COVID/Flu whatever was going around happened more frequently than expected with the standards and guidelines required. Management is rude, random people always lounging around in the offices, too over priced, and owner contact through text. Very unprofessional!!If you’re currently here don’t leave because they have horrible management that can’t seem to keep their bookkeeping straight. You could possibly get slapped with a large bill and be threatened to be sued if you don’t pay. All because the state never notified my step daughter’s mom about her assistance and they “didn’t realize” they weren’t getting paid for almost 5 months.I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
Jeremy Storz: Horrible! They told me they would take my daughter and had me come fill out enrollment paperwork. I stopped calling and looking for places and the night before the owner whom I never talked to or met texts me they won’t accept her. She is a foster girl with minor behaviors. Minor!!!! This place is a joke!
Allen Burton: We are foster parents and it is always hard trying to find a daycare for kids in general but more so for foster kids. We’ve had three sets of foster kids and if used this daycare for all three and could not be happier. They are an exceptional daycare with friendly staff and they were great with the kids. They are always there to help you out with anything that you might need or any needs that your child may have, they keep you informed of meals, diapers, schedule changes, and anything else that may arise. If possible we would give them 10 stars for all the exceptional work that they do. And we would and have recommended this Daycare numerous times to parents and will continue to do so.
Crystal Peterson: Horrible experience that just doesn’t stop!! Jan 2017 my daughter started this center. March 2017 my daughter was left outside on the playground by herself! This I should have reported and I regretfully did not. My 3 year old was blamed for being left on the playground saying she hid from them and someone miss counted when they came in. Behavior issues began and I was not immediately advised of these. The director advised me of these issues after more than a week straight of removing my child from the class and keeping her in the office. The next day from being advised of said behavior issues my child was “expelled” I never took my child back as I felt they were very un fit. Over a year later they have sent me a bill for $480 due for time after they expelled my child!!! BEWARE OF THIS TERRIBLE PLACE!
Staci F: You couldn't ask for a more caring staff. The owners will bend over backwards to make sure your children are loved like their own and taken care of. The director knows her stuff! There's nothing that can throw her off her game.
A Summer O'Shea: All about kids really cares about the children and their needs.
Chad Wegener: Horrible experience. Our 3 month old daughter was only there for 7 days because she wasn't being fed enough. We had to take her to urgent care the day that she was only fed 6 ounces in 9 hours because we thought she might be dehydrated. There was a 6 hour gap in between feedings. The manager on duty even suggested for us to take her to urgent care. Our daughter had to get an ultra sound to make sure she digested her food. Fortunately everything came out to be ok. We were in contact with the owner about the situation and she offered to reimburse what we were out of pocket. When the bill came ($515) she asked how much our copay was which was $75. We asked why she wanted to know and she replied "usually you pay the copay and insurance covers the rest." Well that is not always the case and certainly wasn't the case in our situation. She said she would pay up to $150. That's simply not right and unprofessional. I guess maybe she forgot that she was the sole reason why we had to take her to urgent care?? If you are the owner of a business, you should be doing everything you can to make things right. So after some more back and forth about the urgent care bill, she agreed to pay back our 2 weeks worth of pay ($360). After we faxed her the urgent care bill, she dropped her "refund" down to $260. In a text message she wrote "I am writing a check now for $260 which will be my final offer. I honestly see no liability of neglect I am offering this amount to cover half of medical expenses as a courtesy."AS A COURTESY???? A good owner who cares about children would make this right.
Therese Napoli: TERRIBLE. My daughter was there for one week and I immediately felt uneasy about this place. Tuesday I picked up my 3 month old and she was only given 6 ounces within the 9 hours she was there!!!! (She normally drinks 12 to 15 within a 9 hour time period). There was a 6 hour gap between feedings!! UNACCEPTABLE. I was told she wasn't wanting to eat...but I never got a phone call! Ironically when I went to feed her myself she sucked the bottle down. I immediately left there and went straight to urgent care to make sure she wasn't dehydrated. The OWNERS response was "we can't make her eat" and she was not at all apologetic. DO NOT take your baby here. This was one of my many concerns. I will be making a formal complaint with state as I feel this is neglect. Don't go off their facebook page reviews. They have been taking off all the negative ones!!!
Lindsay Vinson: The OWNER gave the tour and she kept emphasizing that she normally didn't do tours, so she didn't really know what all to tell us. There was 3 "teachers" in the infant room and 4 infants that I saw and one had a bottle propped up by a blanket for feeding. I addressed this with the OWNER and all she said was "shouldn't of happened". Never once while we were there did she intervene or check on the baby! Very poor quality care. If 3 "teachers" were in there and they all allowed that, it's obviously normal for them to do that! BEWARE!!!
