LeeAnn VanTiflin: Not so much a review but trucker PSA. Don’t pay for the reserved parking unless you are already in the reserved spot. Paid for one but lot was full. Clerk was very apologetic but unable to remedy the issue like other locations and get the unpaid trucks to leave. Apparently a trucker pulled a gun on a young girl in the past so they’re working on getting security. Until then - don’t reserve your spot ahead of time.I did get it refunded at the counter.

Lots of variety in all capacities.. nice vibes for an express way stop for lots of different people.. and the staff, Mrs.Shirley and Mrs.Pam were as sweet as can be and really took my experience in stopping here (to regroup and recollect my thoughts for next leg of my journey) a very comfortable humble and homey feel. The decision to stop here really helped me feel positive and recharged to keep chuggin right along!

Carmen Puryear: The experience , as a whole, was ok. It is frustrating to stop there for gas and RARELY do the pumps have paper in them for printing receipt. You have to go inside and wait in line to get one printed. Sometimes, staff act annoyed/bothered to do so. Well, put paper in the pumps/machines??!! This is usually an issue at the W. Chestnut and I44 location in Springfield, MO.

Said he has a "no loitering sign", which supposedly means trucks can only park for 15 minutes in a hugely empty lot.

Charles Rogers: Pulled in at 11:25pm on a Saturday to fill up my company truck and the pumps were already turned off and the doors were locked. Update few weeks later pulled up and there were homeless people sleeping on the walkways.
Lizzy Reid: So the reason there is no overnight parking is due to the area. There were multiple break in and people stealing the cars that were left their. It does still suck but blame Springfield honestly. Currently under new management so hopefully the store improves. The company though is terrible to their employees and needs to actually appreciate what they do instead of punishing everything they do.

Erica Mo (GGOPOLIS): Bathroom was very clean. You do not realize how important it is when you are traveling on the road and need to pop into a truck stop and use the facilities. You can either be traumatized by the lack of other people's bad home training and lack of personal hygiene or greatful that you didn't need to prep the pod before going full throttle. The God's of the Porcelain Throne have thrown favor upon me today 😔😔!!! Purchased an egg roll and a 🍕 slice of sausage pizza... 🤔 Hmmm. Surprisingly sausage slice was tasty, the verdict is still out on the egg roll. Staff that I encountered were very pleasant. They have washing machines and dryers. Stay safe.
Karen White: Too bad zero stars isn't an option. Dont waste your gas or time if you are wanting a shower!! Apparently the showers are for truck drivers only! My water heater went out on me and I haven't had a shower in a week and kum and go turned me away because I don't have a CDL!!!

Christopher Polly: I was in line waiting to buy what would have been $1500 worth of fuel and breakfast. Gentleman in front of me was joking with employee about the rise in prices. Her name was Dakota with a weird spelling. She got rude with him about "You can just not buy it", with the classic arrogant nose ring attitude.The guy asked to speak to manager, and this "manager", who looked like he fell off a carnival crew, proceeded to get extremely rude with the customer.I'm completely sick and tired of customers being treated like this. I know the Driver wanted to buy fuel, and that's also my reason for being there.The manager wouldn't let the guy buy $1200 fuel. Well, as for me, Kum & Go, if this is the degree which is your standard for employees, I will never be back.I can't speak for the other guy, but the 8000 gallons of fuel my trucks bought weekly from you weekly, is gone.If your employee's can't act decent, and your managers look like they haven't seen a shower in a week, Casey's and Pilot can have our business....

Night shift guy(Charlie), refused to sell to me because quote "Other people may want this too". Disgusting that the employees can make up policy on the spot. Have purchased these pouched hundreds of times without problems. I guess the store is now only for "other people", and not for loyal customers.

Pump area was tidy with no trash and the long stick squeegee was great for cleaning the entire windshield of my Sprinter van.Coolers and snacks well stocked with lots of choices. Note that the parking area has no shade so if you were thinking of getting a nap, that's going to be a challenge.

P.annie. Day: I have been to several loves travel centers from Quartzsite Az to Strafford Mo. And everyone of them where very well staffed and very nice people with the exception of Stafford mo which has the rudest employees I've ever had to deal with!! Also the bathrooms were very nasty and trash cans over flowing and trashy parking lot

Joey: Never ate at the restaurant but been to the truck stop extensively. Old school place so if you want to be babied and act like a Karen, this place isn’t for you but if you’re respectful and upfront the staff are more than accommodating. Had a flat coming home from Oklahoma, was told there was a long wait for a tire repair so I asked to be put on the list and waited. Within 10 minutes an employee noticed my flat and told me to put to the garage and had it repaired within 20 minutes. Was charged $10 labor for a patched tire, you’re not going to find that price anywhere! Always try to stop and buy fuel or whatever I need from these guys. Have stayed at the hotel once before and it wasn’t fancy but is a good cheap place to catch a nights rest.
Jothan Gonzalez: The third shift guy that worked overnight last night was very well spoken and open to his customers. Getting along with the grumpier old men category isn't always such an easy process for the younger fellas. It was nice to know that there is still a "small talk"out there worth the few minutes it takes to have that small-talk

Kimkali113: Husband had pinion seal go out on his Peterbilt. TA did not have the part & had to go get it, they also had to wait for access to the maintenence account from my husband's company to do the repair & on top of that there was also another truck that had to be finished before they could work on his. All I can say is other repair shops should take a page from these guys. Even with all the odds stacked against them, they were able to get him out of there in 3 hours! He says if he ever has any issues & he is down that way they will be getting his business again. Thanks guys!
