Lion Heart: I went not once, but twice for an eyelash appointment. The first time they said they lost my appointment somehow and the second time they started my lashes then couldn’t finish because claimed “we don’t have enough time to finish them if you want a full set”…. I sat there for over 3 hours for my lashes just for disappointment, on top of all of that they waxed off part of my eyebrow and didn’t say anything about it till I looked for myself and they told me they couldn’t fix it. 10/10 WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!!

Valarie Longcor: Had a horrible experience today made an appointment last wk for today for a hair cut n nails. So the lady tells me I’m not in their system okay well can u get me in she said yes.So I had to wait while the students went to lunch n came back from lunch.Sitting in waiting over n hr n seeing all of these people that came in get helped n 12 pm this sweet girl comes over in takes me back to get my nails done.I said I’m supposed to get my hair cut 1st then nails done n had changed my mind on the nails because of the type of job I have. I wanted to ask a few people I work with what was best to get before getting the nails done.So while there making a new nail appointment I find out that the lady in the front never scheduled me for a haircut just nails.Now I know customers aren’t always right but in this case I decided to leave n take my business elsewhere because if someone cut my hair they could be angry with me so I wasn’t gonna to take that chance.I left so angry n disappointed n disrespected by them. The sweet girl was wonderful n understanding.I’m the type of person who tips over 50% sometimes more if the service is excellent and worth it they get that tip because they earned it.Making people wait over n hr for n appointment in deciding on what service they chose for a client is absolutely ridiculous.Because of how I was treated I did find a new salon n now have a great hairdresser who actually understood what I wanted in told her about my experience at this place.This place needs to be run out of business. The students dress like they’re in junior high school instead of actually attending school of business to set them up for a brighter career.The students spent more time on their phones than even attending to their clients.The sweet girl that was trying to help me n understood why I was upset n confused congrats to her she’s going places in she’s absolutely beautiful inside n out n she has a future waiting for her.The lady at that check in shame on u.I’ll never forget this experience but it did teach me a lesson in I was able to find a fantastic hairdresser today.

Asked for just a trim, got a whole different very very very short haircut. Excited to check out the massages soon though. Thank you for a wonderFULL upbeat atmosphere and friendly staff!🌈💛 Update…Got massages for family. Skin got touched. Not muscles. For all of us. I scheduled specifically with someone who could get the pressure that was needed. Didn’t get that person, unfortunately. They didn’t come to work or left early idk. But I did make sure to specify needs multiple times with the other person, prior to and during. Got a curtained area with staff talking the entire time. Two different people came in at separate times and the curtain got opened really far on another time.The staff and students are really nice. Update…After it grew out for several weeks, it looks pretty good! Glad my curls make it work.Thank you

Cade Ekstrom: A+++ Jeramey and Julia made it feel so welcoming from day 1. Their facility is great; very clean and all up to date equipment. I completed the 10 week course after being a 10 year body tech and was very impressed. I've researched many training courses over the years but never pulled the trigger. Once I came across the HM academy I knew something was different and I'm glad I held off on the others! Jeramey is a great instructor and taught me what it takes to fix dents to 100% which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

Chaz Evans: This school was by far the best bang for your dollar. If I had went to a two week school I wouldn’t have learned anything and I’d be back at my old job right now. Jeramey is a fantastic dent tech and an amazing teacher. He could see I was struggling and would sit down with me until he was sure I could complete the dents. And Julia set us up with multiple different people who taught us about finances, taxes, and how to not only start a business but run one too. I cannot recommend this class enough.

Tim riddle: We sent our son last year in hopes of him learning a skilled trade. From the registration to the enrollment, everything was so easy to complete and all online. If we had any questions the customer service was always helpful. When he arrived for the ten week course he was put up in a nice hotel and we knew we were sending him to good hands. After knowing, and working with Jeremy periodically for the last 18 years, I was happy sending my son there knowing he would get the best training anyone could give him. Knowing Jeremy’s skills and work ethic it was hands down the easiest decision to send my son there. After the training period he came out with the knowledge and ability to do a quality repair.

Andrew Ayers: What a great experience and I highly recommend HM Dent Works! I flew from Cincinnati to Springfield for the one day body tech course. It was a smooth ride since the first time I talked to Jeramey and signed up for the class. Julia set me up with a hotel and kept me informed with updates for the class which was really helpful. When I arrived the facility was very nice and clean and I immediately felt right at home. Jeramey is a great instructor and showed me more than I could ever imagine in one day which made me feel confident when I left there. I was always skeptical traveling that far and thinking what could I learn in one day but instead I left there with a lifetime of knowledge of how to fix dents the correct way!

Seth St. Amant: I graduated from HM Dent Works Academy. They were nothing short of amazing. From Jeramey's amazing teaching techniques to Julia's infanint wisdome of all the business aspects. Jeramey has to be the one of if not the best in this business. His teaching techniques absolutely mirror that. I'm not saying he made it easy because it wasn't. He taught in such a way that it was easy to understand. These are some AMAZING people. If you are looking for a new career I would highly recommend HM Dent Works Academy!!!

Sam: From day one, Jeramey made our small class of four feel welcome and comfortable. Immediately, it felt like I was being trained by a longtime friend. Throughout the course, Jeramey spent plenty of time with each student, giving us all one on one attention to make sure that we'd be confident in our skills by the end of the course. Not only did Jeramey bring me confidence in my skills as a pdr technician, but he also gave me tons of information and advice on what to expect and how to successfully operate in the PDR industry. Overall, I'd highly reccomend HM Dent Works Academy to absolutely anybody looking to learn paintless dent repair.

Ashley Plumb: Aaron was wonderful. Taking his time, listening to what I wanted, doing his best. One of the male instructors came to show him how to do a part of it then just started hacking off my hair. They didn't make me pay for service but I still tipped Aaron because he deserved it. I walked out covered in hair and itchy. The instructor started saying the hairstyle I wanted wasn't the picture I was showing them which was completely false.

Cici Halifax: It's like it was the girls first day ever cutting hair worst experience I've ever had absolutely butchered my hair its completely uneven on both sides and the worst part for me is way way too much was cut off. I've never cut hair a day in my life and feel as if I could have done a better job. 1st photo is what I got 2nd photo was what I wanted.

I like to go for myself but, I also take my kids to get their hair done now because, they want more than a buzz cut. They want color and style. Kalpesh & Dipika Patel: I went in for a haircut and my hair was extremely long, like down to my butt. Yesterday I asked for a trim just to get the dead hair off. I only wanted 2 inches off but she definitely cut more than that. She cut almost 6 inches when that’s not what I asked for. I’m not sure what training they are receiving but 2 inches is not chopping all of my hair off. I’ve been here before but I’ve never been so upset with my haircut. Extremely disappointed and don’t recommend, if you want to keep your hair the length you have it, don’t go here!

That is what you sign up for when you pay a fraction of the price & go to a school for your services. However, I went to the esthetics program here in 2018-2019 and it was the best experience I could of ever had. I absolutely loved school and this place, owners, and instructors shaped who I am to this day. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to become an esthetician.

I was early in my transition from female to male and requested a haircut that would suit that. They made me feel very welcome and were very encouraging:) The haircut was pretty good too especially for the price.

Rick V: One star due to years of loving to come here...Pre - covid.Always the finest of experiences greatest people on the staff..Post - covid.Two haircuts indicated the mojo.. was gone.I waited months to give them time to recover the magic.A simple call to check the schedule a day after greene county health official stated 231 cases of covid are crippling our 2 hospitals.. I ask if I could request the attendant wear a mask.He may have just laughed me off the phone (not really) but he was very dismissive and clearly indicated that would not happen.I will pay extra if it will help prevent transmission of this Delta variant. Smart people will understand.Too bad the person I spoke to is not one.I miss smart people.Update -- gave them another try. Called last week and ask again if I could request the student to wear a mask. "Of course" was the answer. We can do that.NOPE when I arrived the student was not asked, had no mask and was proud of her "choice" to be not vaccinated.I tried to explain the logic but of course it fell on deaf ears. As I left it was painfully obvious that no one in that building was even slightly concerned about Covid or it's variant, let alone the overwhelmed hospital system in Springfield.I still miss smart people.

I have been look for a decently price school to do a wild crazy style now called fashion colors. The owner brought out several shades of blue and purple which was new to me i ended up picking three and the way we collaborated it turned out amazing. So long story short fabulous personalities fantastic styles they do will be back and it recommend it to everyone especially if you have a wild side.

She explained what she was doing the whole time and absolutely made my hair look amazing. We went out of my comfort zone and did a reverse ombre with copper which I absolutely love! She also did my daughter's hair who has only had one haircut in her life! She was patient and took her time to make sure her hair turned out cute as well! Would 100% recommend seeing her!

I spent a little extra time in the chair (for 1/2 the cost) and did a little good offering an up-and-coming stylist a learning opportunity (totally supervised by the owner who is a BA professional colorist/stylist.) Check it out!
