Sal: This company called me twice within 3 days asking about my timeshare (I don't own one). First time, I informed the employee that I don't have a timeshare and told him not to call again. Second time, they called at 9 PM. I seriously question the legitimacy of a company that calls so late, so often, continues to call after instructed not to, and violates the Do Not Call list.

Clifton C: I was told by someone who called me out the blue that they don't have to remove me from the calling list. The telemarketer had an attitude because I requested this. This company must be a joke. I don't have a timeshare so why are you calling me?

Dianne VanHouten: American Settlement representatives were able to complete the battle to cancel timeshare ownership of two properties. At the time of purchase, we were thrilled to have these annual vacation properties to use and to share with our family. However, what the timeshare sharks did not tell us was that we would not be able to surrender our ownership back to them. After listing with various internet “sales” companies it became painfully apparent that even selling them for $1 was not going to happen. Annual maintenance fees increased to the point where we were paying more in annual fees than we’d pay at a 5 star resort for the same amount of time. As we aged, we were unable to travel to the destinations and yet the expenses continued. We also discovered that that our heirs would inherit this nightmare! It became obvious that we were not going to be able to resolve this by ourselves so we attended the very informative and no pressure presentation by American Settlement representatives. We were told up front that it was not a quick process – and it wasn’t - but the bottom line is: they got the job done! Kathleen Rodman: We attended the American Settlement Services presentation and decided to have them terminate our two time shares for us. We had used and enjoyed our timeshares extensively but just didn't believe there was anywhere else we wanted to go with them.American Settlement Services originally projected our timeshares would be taken care of by December but as you can see we are at the end of July and they are both gone.Originally we were a little apprehensive about whether the company would do what they said they would do and hoped we were not making a mistake. This was not a mistake. American Settlement Services exceeded our expectations. They are helpful, very nice people and they do what they say they will do. In our experience even faster than originally anticipated.I highly recommend them to anyone who has a timeshare they want to terminate. It is so nice to be able to use those maintenance fees for other things we want now.

trkutz: I can't give a "0 star" rating - a person claiming they were an employee of American Settlement attempted to complete a FRAUD against me! They claimed they were authorized by my timeshare to contact me to inform me that my personal ID had been corrupted! The only company that did this is American Settlement. I have filed complaints with the timeshare owner, BBB, and FTC.

Kimberly Bagacina: Scam. Not BBB accredited. My husband made a reservation, they charged him $30. We called back the same day, to say we could not go, were told we had to show up to get our money back. A man claiming to be a supervisor named Tate Nicholson told me it cost $30 for the reservation. Scam.

Jeremy Tucker: They called to my deceased grandparents (8 years ago) home asking for my deceased mother. They wanted to speak to her to ask about how she was enjoying the timeshare property. (She doesn't own any timeshare). Spent the next 20 minutes trying to wiggle out of every question thrown at them telling lies non-stop. When I pulled their information up and started quoting their complaints from the BBB website I got hung up on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK

Ian Myers: This is the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with in a long time. Called on New Year's Day, I get it, everyone has to make a living.The young lady I initially spoke with was cordial and passed me over to their "QA Desk" for their offer.A man from their QA department got on the line and gave his spiel. We were polite and kind throughout, after he explained the offer I told him I wasn't a good fit. Their associate used some pressure tactics after that and as I was wishing him a happy new year and thanking him for his time, he hung up on me.Because of this unprofessionalism, I will never do business with this company, ever. I called them to lodge a complaint, and after the associate got on the phone, he lied and said he'd hung up thinking I was no longer on the line. Unacceptable behavior for it being a holiday.

David Goodison: This company is great! They did what they said they would do and now I am free from my timeshare! They did a wonderful job of staying in constant communication with us and the process was smooth. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Miss Yvonne's Wig: Horribly rude telemarketers. Call at all hours of the day, despite being registered on Do Not Call lists. Even speak to my minor children at length, when they are obviously too young for a sales call. The kicker is, we don't even own a timeshare! Would you trust a company that uses robocall telemarketers to settle financial matters? I think not!

Cirt Yancy: Awesome Company doing great things for families stuck in timeshare. American Settlement Services helped my Aunt out her timeshare, She had it for almost 20 years. She had been paying rising reoccurring maintenance fees every year and not able to use it! The Resort would not take it back, She couldn't sell it as the re-sale market is non-existent... You can rent all these units online... You don't have to pay the overhead to stay in these places anymore. It made absolutely no sense to keep her timeshare. American Settlement Services was able to get her out of her timeshare. She is no longer liable for that maintenance fee that came every year, and her kids will not have to deal with it either.Thank you all for helping our family.

John hewitt: Even though I am on multiple do not call list they keep calling me. The first thing the say is "we are not selling anything". I am sure they say this to try and get around violating the do not call. The lady wanted to argue with me. She said there was no message when she called. That is not how do not call works. There is a list of numbers that are they should have to tell who not to call. Based on how this call went this company is fully aware the are violating the do not call. They just don't care.They called me again today. Thank goodness I blocked there number.If they do not follow the do not call regulations I would imagine they are no legitimate. Stay away from this company

Ron Patrick: I am pleased to report that Christopher Little from ISS reached out to me to discuss TimeShare relief today. The conversation was very informative and helpful. When you sign a contract with a timeshare company you end up in a terrible one way servitude which can affect your mental health, financial well being and relationships. Christopher has a wealth of experience in this area and was able to answer all my questions and provide some advice which hopefully will lead to a successful exit from the Timeshare Prison I find myself in. Christopher was very familiar with all the lies, traps, and fraud perpetrated on folks wanting relaxing vacations not nightmares of broken promises and ever increasing maintenance fees. The big thing that Interval Settlement Solutions offers is hope and an end to the big lies.

Christopher Stafford: I went into this deal thinking Interval Settlement Solutions was going to resolve my problem. They told me, I wouldn't have to pay anything when they were done or they'll refund my money. I was told the 3 options given to me was what they came up with, but this is not what I was told when I signed up. I paid Wyndham the settlement to get out of the contract, but some people should honor their word.You can go back and listen to your recordings. You'll see what your guarantees are. If you don't want to honor it, it's ok. I was never told when you do this, that the end results would be 3 options and 2 were to still be I'm the Wyndham contract. If I say I wanted out, I shouldn't have to choose.

Melissa Clinger: This company scared and scammed my father, a confused old man. They strongly encouraged (read: coerced) him to apply for a new VISA card and ran a $4500 charge for their "services". He had his lawyer contact them, but he did not get any money back. They work in tandem with the Mid West Transfer. At least some of these 5 starred reviews are employees of these organizations.

Clark Brown: With so many scams out there in the timeshare market I checked them out and found them to be just another liar. The A+ BBB rating is false as they have too many complaints registered and ongoing issues.So many 5 star reviews without reason, I have to be Leary of that.Beware.

Ramona Brown: We were not given all the facts about cost. After nearly a year we received another bill for over $2,000. The salesperson could not be contacted. The case manager was rude. When talking to the VP he gave a totally different explanation than was given by the case manager. They are no better than the timeshare companies that trick people in to a lifetime bill. Disgusted.

Kristan Blancas: The calling company was very annoying in the beginning, but I was greeted with upmost respect and had a great learning experience. They also got me back my maintenance fees this year and this saved me $3200! Super happy with the Advantage Program and the nice gentlemen Amador that helped me out! Highly recommend them!
