Rama Thai Café: what do users think?
Jill K: We've been coming here for years. Everything is great. I typically get the Three Taste Chicken... without spicy heat. It's sweet, and the chicken is fried and very tender. It's served with rice and broccoli. It's my favorite. Husband typically gets the yellow curry with chicken with a 2/4 on spicy heat. We also got the steamed pot stickers and Thai tea.
R Turer: Busy but understaffed. Ended up with take out instead. Will try again when I think staffing may help with food quality and build. Pad Thai good enuf. But not a go to. Yet.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Buck Fievre: We had a really great meal here on a Friday evening sharing beef graprow and Panang curry with tofu. We both like spicy food but on the server's, erm, subtle advice we went for 2 out 4. Which was just right. The thing these folks do really well is to infuse the cooking oil with pepper rather than to just sprinkle a bunch of dry pepper flakes on the food the way most places do. It makes all the difference.

Tong's Thai Restaurant: what do users think?
Serena Villela: The Drunken Noodles with beef are amazing!! We like to add the garlic sauce with ours. The server recommended it and he was exactly right. Some of the appetizers weren’t for us (tried new things) but the items we did order were outstanding. Already been back again!Wheelchair accessibility: All ramps in the building, I noticed. Didn’t use a wheel chair or stroller to test out accessibility in bathrooms though.
Dan Robbins: Service was prompt, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice! Great Crab Rangoon. I had the yellow curry with lots of chicken and vegetables, the medium heat was perfect for my palate.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jonathan: Ok who forgot to tell me about Tong's? I mean that is just cruel! If I had known about Tong's, this review would be five years old by now! I'm glad tho, because I've, unfortunately, had a recent rash of one star reviews. When I started writing reviews, I swore to myself I would not inject more negativity into a world that's already bursting at the seams with it. However, some experiences are so dreadful they need to be shared as a warning to others, in order to try to help them avoid a similar experience. I felt obligated to break a promise I made to myself multiple times and it was getting me down but now I get to write another, well deserved, five star review!Okay you're probably wondering "what about Tong's?". What about it? After sixteen years of industry work and 15 more years of appreciation, I've experienced a lot of culinary delights. I have enjoyed many delicious sensations brought on by a lot of various culinary practices from across the globe. I'll put it like this: my taste buds are jaded and they're used to just about everything. I'm hard to surprise. Tong's literally gave my mouth sensations that I had never experienced before. My wife and I ordered a salad, appetizer and two entrees, and the flavor combinations used in the entrees (all so So SO delicious) were so different from the other, it was surreal. I tried the entree she ordered after taking a few bites of mine and everything just kind of faded away as I got lost in the flavors, it seemed like none of the same seasonings were used however both dishes had flavors that would change and evolve in your mouth, while you chewed! We talked about it while we ate, she's an industry veteran as well. You know that after glow feeling new couples get after they romance each other? Well I have a quite similar after glow feeling from eating Tong's food lol. It IS that good! I have so many words at my disposal: I'm a published journalist (75 + articles, but that's an entirely different story), but all of them miserably fail to impart how good this food is. I'm speechless. Anyway, if you don't know, you should enrich your life by finding out. Who knows? Maybe you'll find your purpose in life! Maybe you'll quit drinking! Maybe your depression will be cured! Maybe you'll invent faster than light travel! I don't know, but I do know you'll be feeling better off in general after eating at Tong's! Go tomorrow!
Rick Hendriks: Spicy Hot Siam beef was very good along with the crab ragoon appetizer we had. Will be going back for more menu items!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
C Breeden: Pleasant service, but I don’t understand the 5 star reviews. I guess if you’ve never had Thai food you’d think this was it idk. The food is salty, and not prepared well.
Rita Birt: The very best place in Springfield. Love the ambiance, the frienliness of the owner and staff. Prompt service. Best Grouper ever !!! I can never wait to go back.

Woody Gilson: I almost feel guilty for this review because it's a cute place, clean, and the staff were great. The elevator music was a little weird, but the food was presented beautifully, and it seems to be a popular place.But...I ordered the garlic vegetables with chicken, four out of five peppers on the heat scale (because I love spicy Thai food). The garlic sauce was watered down, nearly flavorless. The rice when added to the plate became a mushy paste. And the "heat" was maybe one-pepper, if that.I asked for chili oil hoping to add some kind of flavor, some kind of heat. The only chili oil option was something akin to watered-down Sriracha. I ended up not eating more than a few of bites, and that was only in the course of trying to add some flavor to it.I ended up setting my plate aside. I tried not to make a thing about it. I don't wanna be "that person." And my fiancee enjoyed her pineapple chicken fried rice.At least two staff members offered to make me something else, but since my fiancee was nearly done and people were waiting for tables, I respectfully declined. I felt really bad for having to say "no thank you" so many times. They didn't charge me for my plate, so that was nice of them.I blame it on Springfield, really. Every traditional-style Asian restaurant I've been to here says their recipes have to be changed to appeal to a "Western palate," and seeing as how Springfield is apparently chock full of stereotypical white folks who consider mayonnaise a complex spice, I guess it makes sense that this Southside Thai place is so popular.
Grant Frostad: This is the hole-in-the-wall that we all hope to tell our friends about. Basic and crowded seating with friendly, prompt service.Ordered the mango salad (be warned 'medium' heat is OMG heat...can't imagine 'hot') and the pad thai...enormous portions and great value for the price.Lined up and we know why.

Bob Johnson: This place is not fancy, but wow the food is great. I like this place much better than the other Thai place in town. I've had the noodle dish (Pad See Ew) twice now, once with chicken and once with beef. Both were excellent. Friends have all enjoyed other selections. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is strip mall, but the food is what makes this place shine. Update: went again this evening, I'm stuck on the Pad Se Ew, but this time with Pork. Excellent. I got to try some of the Pineapple rice and boy was it tasty as well. Just so good here.

Always great!!Update: second time, excellent!!Update: have been here so many times now! Excellent!!First time at Thailand Station. They were fairly busy for 2pm. We got a couple of apps and two entrees. The service was very good and attentive to needs. Veggie spring rolls and crispy tofu were both great. Entrees were very good, hot and fresh. We will return and try other things not because we disliked what we got but so many options that look amazing. Check them out!
Nathan Todd: Crazy good! Got the money bags, crab rangoons and pad thai. It was all some of the best food I've had in Springfield! We'll definitely be back to try more!Vegetarian options: Several vegan options with tofu being a protein choice on nearly everything

J phunk punk: Probably the worst meal I've had in a long time. I stopped in through the drive-thru for lunch. I got the Thai Connection. I thought it was going to be just chicken. It came with shrimp and beef, too. I think the shrimp were bad. It had a bad smell. I took a few bites and tossed it out. Super small portion for the $15 bucks I paid for it. The egg roll o had to add on wasn't good either. I'll try a different Thai place next time.

sb k: The most flavorless Asian food i have ever been served. The service was nice. But the food was horrible
Mitch McLooney: $$$First off, TOO EXPENSIVE!We could have went to the steakhouse. This is NOT Springfield style cashew chicken. It’s Panda Express chicken with a thin sauce that isn’t the gravy we all want. The so-called “fried rice” just… isn’t. It’s regular steamed rice with some scrambled egg added. Seriously 😒And, don’t get me started on their “rolls.” At least they don’t call it sushi. It’s not. NOTHING RAW! It’s either imitation crab meat or microwaved shrimp. NOT fried tempura. People who like this are insulting sushi. Don’t you dare say you like sushi. Nasty! The fact that this place gets such high reviews makes me ashamed of my neighbors. You’re all idiots!
gonefishing4fun 2019: Definitely will have them add vegetables and some heat next time, was general Chicken and literally not spicy at all ,a little generic-looking 🤔.... But the service was great! Super sweet

Klint Keltner: This place is excellent, I will be back. The price is right and the food that my wife and I had was delicious! Chicken curry and mongolian beef, respectively. Service was on point even though our server was quite busy.

Amanda Steele: Not a fan of menus with no prices, lo menu was not good at all, General chicken had flavor but was way over cooked…to me it was “Eh..” $41 for two egg rolls, 4 Rangoon’s, pork lo menu and I couldn’t chew the pork it was so tough and dry, and the general chicken which you really can’t screw up fried meat swimming in bottled sauce. We will not be back!
clint harrison: My favorite restaurant in Springfield. Food is consistantly great and staff is very friendly. Great atmosphere. We dine in at least once a week!
Robert Netzer: Good foodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Zachary Moye: Service is awesome and prompt, prices are decent, however the food is average but edible. Crab Rangoon needs more fluff and less fried bread. I would come back to see if they improve.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Patricia Tucker: I have always ordered from appetizer menu and consistently enjoyed. Always good service and clean atmosphere. Last night I tried my first dinner menu item. Never Again. Still trying to determine just what part if chicken is marinated thinly sliced something else. A cross between tofu and thinly sliced processed lunch meat.
Black & White Roofing: Cool
todd harnden: Excellent Gluten Free options for my wife and great regular options as well. Love the Kung Pao pasta.
Den Gee-APP: Disappointed they say is a fusion of asian...but no kimchi...that is a travesty...food was ok but probably not enough to get me back there.

Levi Taliaferro: The Wheelhouse used to be a food truck, now they're an upscale hotel restaurant. They serve primarily fusion cusine, with a heavy emphasis on vegan and vegetarian options.I've had their Pad Thai and now their Peanut Satay (both with tofu), and they're both excellent. Atmosphere is great, the food is plated artistically, flavor is beyond amazing, and the prices are pretty reasonable for what you're getting, which is upscale trendy dining. Most of the entrees are $7-$15.Vegetarian options: Large number of vegan options

The lady at the register said no, but she could do a sugar free vanilla coffee. I declined, but she then surprised me with a virgin mojito with Splenda! It was so delicious! Unfortunately I didn’t get her name, but she made my day! Great service & food :-)
Landon Wilson: This place was absolutely disgusting will never go back only thing I liked was a jarrito everything else tasted like peanut butter would not recommend unless you are in the mood for a jarrito

Bethany Price: I loved this place when it was a food truck but I feel like their quality has diminished a lot since they have been inside the VIB.The pineapple chicken fried rice used to be so incredible but now it has tiny pineapple tidbits that are hard to taste or see, the chicken is dry, it is heavily salted and even though they offer different levels of heat they rarely remember to add it when I request it. Also, the price doesn't match up with their menu.I don't know. I miss the old crew, the old truck and the consistency they used to have.
Murray Scott: Very nice restaurant inside of the hotel. Food and service was great. Interesting mix of Mexican and Asian dishes. We had the Drunken noodles and Garlic noodles (a special) and were both very happy with the food. We had the large portion, but I think the single portion will be enough for next time. We got to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy our meal. The do have seating inside the hotel also.
Eric Morris: I like the food, but charging several dollars more than the menu (both online and behind the counter) says is NOT an ethical business practice. If you can figure out how to update your cash register with your new prices, you can figure out how to update the price board. This is basic business law. You offered food a certain price, and in ordering the customer accepted your offer. Then, you changed the terms of the offer by adjusting the base price upward (by over 20%). The menu makes it clear that the the BASE price charged did not match the offer made by the menu. The cashier was unable to explain the difference, but this is a management problem, not a cashier problem.

CM_: I think all Asian restaurants in the Springfield area need to take notes because that was awesome. Egg rolls were done perfectly chicken fried rice was perfect. Chicken was tender with a light crust instead of the usual gelatin consistency I come across here.
Dan Ragsdale: G Money! Best general and orange for miles around, plus authentic Thai/Lao!
Mary Jane Ward: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Ian Brown: Food is made from scratch, great value for the price, and tastes awesome. Would eat here again.
Deidra Rockers: PaChan's was parked out front of my job the other day, so my coworkers and I all got it for lunch and raved about it to our customers the rest of the day. We all got different stuff and all enjoyed! Been looking for really good Chinese in Springfield since I moved here a few months ago and this place ticks all the boxes for me! The general chicken has a kick but is quite flavorful. Very good rice as well. Definitely some of the best if not the best crab rangoons I've had as well. Will definitely be trying more from them soon!
Scott Wyatt: Recommended dishes Chicken Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, Orange Chicken, Eggdrop SoupMore
matt austin: Holy smokes, this place was awesome. My wife and I decided to try it out since her favorite place (China Star) closed. She got the cashew chicken, and I got the orange chicken. I love the fact that the sauce comes on the side, especially since we took it home; the chicken didn't get soggy. The rice was good, no complaints. The egg rolls we really good too. I did see in an different review that the spicy really means spicy. The orange sauce had a kick, so I would drown the chicken in it if you're sensitive to spicy things. Don't get me wrong, the orange sauce was great, just dont be surprised with things being spicy. We definitely will be back, and very happy we tried this place out!
Logan F: If you’re looking for the best Chinese food in Springfield look no further!I I ate her tonight and got the cashew dinner, The chicken isn’t chewy or stringy cheap chicken like most places in town and it is always hot and fresh, the Rice is just the perfect texture and never dry, the sauce is my favorite part they serve it on the side and it is perfect for putting on your cashew chicken or I also use it to dip their delicious egg rolls in. Two ate for under $20 by the way!! 10/10 recommend. Was going to post a picture but it looked/smelled too good so I dove in!!
Anna O'Daniel: Food: 5/5More
D Von: Very respectable, delicious food. Much better than any Asian cuisine competition in Springfield
Thomas Brophy: We tried several items this evening: General Chicken, Papaya Salad,Pad Thai, Egg Drop Soup, Crab Rangoons & Egg Rolls. All were very good, although for me too much fish sauce was put in the papaya salad. There were generous amounts for all dishes and we didn't have to wait long to get our food. We will definitely order again.
Eugenia Williams: Love their food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
King Fish: I’ve paid 3x as much for inferior quality Chinese food in town. This is some good food and the prices are good too. If you actually like spice tell them and you will get hooked up. If you haven’t been here before do yourself a favor and check them out.
OHM eCommerce: I love this place. it’s absolutely delicious, fresh and they are extremely nice!

Oliver Hoedel: Really good food and the prices are reasonable unlike other restaurants in the area. The Mongolian beef was delicious.
Stan Cross: This place is great,Lorna is great one of a kind, super service!!
Brett Waggoner: Showed up at 11:00 friday when they open. Now it’s 11:21 and they are not open. They said to give them 5 min
Travis Ota (FirstMate808): This is not a Thai restaurant. This is more like a generic Asian restaurant. Service is slow and food all tastes the same in fact all the dishes we ordered came with the exact same sauce and no spice. The only thing near any kind of real Thai food was the green curry which was mediocre at best. The one thing this place does well is really make you wish Yi’s in Nixa was still open.
Isaac McPheeters: Terrible customer service - great food. The food is always great, and we love it. The service is terrible. We will get a 25 minute estimate on our food. It often turns into one hour, an hour and a half, or last time, we picked up our food over two hours after we ordered it. Showed up on time, and they charged us before food was ready so we were on the hook. Then it was “10 more minutes.” Then it was another “Just 10 more minutes.” When we asked if we should just go home, they said yes and to just come back before closing in an hour. Then we got back and they’d given part of the order to someone else (not uncommon). Finally we got the food and it was delicious. I wouldn’t even have a problem with the wait times if they would just give us a reasonable time estimate. Just say “Sorry. We are short staffed. We won’t get to your order for at least an hour and a half.” Basically we only order this food when it’s gonna be something extra for the evening, and we have no schedule that day.
Jimmy Moison: Ok, we’ve been coming here for years. Love the food, but we have been here for an hour. We could have went somewhere else in the amount of time we’ve been waiting. The place isn’t even that busy. Have some respect for the people that keep your business open by respectfully letting them know how long they MAY be waiting. You may lose them for the visit, but it’s better than losing the customer permanently.
M L: Day after Christmas, one server, full house, and still amazing service and food!! Not sure what her name is, but she is a great server/multi-tasker/with a lovely disposition!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
