Rob D: He did good work. On what he did. Gave him the skull, cape,and tail of a missouri hog i had shot (this was a while back) after a year passed, i get a call that he needs me to come pay him in the next 2 days cause he is leaving town, and its finished. he lost the tail, and didnt have my skull ready when the mount was. Not a big deal i guess. Ill come back...over a year later he tells me he left it BEHIND his building in a bag for me to pick up. He had found it in a freezer buried. I show up, a dog had it out of the bag, and had chewed the nose off it. When i tried to contact him, just a complete flake of a person. Does great work, if you want him to feed it to the strays behind his shop...

Billy Bunch: Up to this point, I have never shot a buck. I was unsure how to process it for a shoulder mount. After speaking to them about the pricing (VERY reasonable cost) they were super helpful in telling me exactly how to do it and what all they needed to get the mount completed. When I dropped it off, they were just as helpful in selecting how I would like it mounted. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing thier services. And I will continue going there for all my future taxidermist needs.

Ryan Fletcher: Good experience overall. They did a great job making a replica largemouth bass based on the pictures and information I gave them. I’d give them a 9 out of 10, and I would’ve given them a 10 out of 10, but the pattern on the replica on the main black stripe on the bass didn’t match exactly like I was hoping, but all in all they did a great job and were good at communicating throughout the process.

Frank McLean: My name is Frank McLean I was the previous owner of Wild Country Taxidermy which is now Outdoor Life Taxidermy. Dustin McDaniel is the new taxidermist he is a great guy and will take good care of you. Allan Young will still be the guy at the Springfield shop just like he has the last several years. Dustin mounted about 95% of all the turkeys and ducks when I was running it and has won several taxidermy competitions.

The extra $100 for the open mouth was definitely worth it as that's by far my favorite part. Great communication. The only thing I would've changed is the left paw position but I should've been more concise when I dropped it off. Will use SM again.

Called Brian told him what we were dealing with and he said bring it in. I took it to him and he said "Oh I can make that look cool, I got you." I left the deer with him and just got it back.
