Greene County Collector of Revenue: what do users think?
Josh Korba: Hi my Name is Allison Korba the first time I called I was greeted with a great attitude now all the sudden it is snotty and rude I tried to ask question I was told that I was lying that I did not pay anything I told her that I did I had record of the payment and she proceeded to tell me that I did not have record of it . I am currently on hold the rep answered the phone and said please hold and it has been 20 minutes on hold just to ask one question I probably will not get the answer I am looking for after all the time on hold . anyways I wish there is a better solution .
Truckin Along With Kearsey: I spoke to Kate and Lisa from the tax assessor and collectors offices. They were both sweet and friendly, as well as informative. Lisa emailed my waiver as we were on the phone. Thanks ladies!
Carrie Jeske: Meeting someone as knowledgeable, hard working and helpful as Lacy is refreshing. She has a great attitude and excellent personality, which makes investors, guests and patrons feel welcome. I3 Resources non-profit is excited to participate in the annual tax lien auction to hopefully acquire some properties we can help restore.
Stephen Pennington: When the collector man himself, says this is the last year that he will accept cash, in the $1 denomination or next year there will be consequences. But if I'm not mistaken, they have a $2000 cash per day poster, cash last I knew was to pay private and personal debts. Printed right on there. There are also bill counters, but there are also 2 more people in the background doing who knows what.
Ledbetter: Chrystene Mallett is by far the best government employee I have ever had to ask for help. It is truly rare to find someone in collections willing to help others; if you have any issues, ask for Chrystene. Promote above peers.
Savannah: definitely ruins your day when you go to renew your license plates, need a property receipt and realize they’ve never sent you an assessment and it’s 3 months later. nothing on the website under my name and never received anything in the mail despite other household members receiving theirs. owe $150 in late fees they won’t take off, fun! seems like the ball was dropped somewhere and im the one paying for someone else’s mistake. at least they’re quick in email responses.
Tucker Schneider: Wish I could remember the name of the gentleman that helped me. Only government offices I've been in that are helpful, polite and actually treat you well.
Shawnna Burns: Office staff has apparently been told masking is optional during a global pandemic. This is against the CDC guidelines AND the city ordinance. Great job Greene Co!
Mark Harris: Went in today to take care of my taxes that was sent to the wrong address. Unlike any other place I have ever known Their fault I pay. They admitted they had made the mistake and entered somehow the wrong address. All the paperwork I have is correct. I showed them and ask them to just drop the extra fees not and taxes I owed. They claimed that there is a law that states they can’t do a simple thing as that. I would like to see that law. I can’t find it. I believe this might be a class action lawsuit. I talked to another person before I left and he said the same thing. They also told me this had nothing to do with COVID. I would like to hear from our Representative and find out why this can happen. I believe the people working are just doing what they are told. But this is not Right!!!!
barb secrest: Alex responded promptly to my emails & provided me with the information I needed to pay my taxes online before the deadline.Thank you so much, you're awesome!
Clint Miller: Never received my 2020 real estate tax and of course it's my fault and now a late fee to pay. Just as corrupt as any government business. No help at all just telling me they sent it out. With all the bs going on its awful nice of them to make me pay more.
Ed O: I have proof, in the form of a paid receipt from the post office, showing proof of mailing. I have proof you have received my payment envelope. I have proof that I have historically paid my taxes on time. Despite this, I have been charged late fees as a result of the collectors office's mistakes. My calls were not returned within the timeframes promised, which lead me to believe trying to resolve this would be a disaster. I couldn't have been more right. My problems were never resolved and I ended up having to pay fees, because, despite being able to prove payment was mailed, mail was received, I couldn't prove what was in the envelope. When asked how I could prove this in the future, as the presented evidence was not enough, I was told that I could never be able to prove this? So, if this happens next year, it will be my fault again. I don't feel like this is a fair or reasonable solution.
Amy C: Super friendly and helpful staff!
Courtney Driver: Never thought I'd say that calling a government office was the nicest part of my day but these ladies were so sweet, helpful, and fun to talk to! They took a process I expected to be very difficult and drawn out and made it super quick and painless. I could not be more pleased with the service I received today!
Trina Jones: I spoke to the most wonderful women yesterday who gave me hope that not everyone hates their job! Haha! I think her name was Julie ! She had just gave me the best service I've ever had over the phone! And also went out of her way to send me more information to help me!! Love love love her! She needs a raise!!!
Michelle Ray: Called for personal property tax receipt and had emailed in less then 10 minutes! The lady who's name I can't remember 😭 (because she deserves a shout out) was so nice and helpful.
kalonji WingsofEagles: "They had me" at their staff photo. Awesome spirit! 😁
Hannah Parker: This office is amazing and will go way above your expectations of a typical government office. I needed a property tax waiver so I could register a vehicle. I called around 1 pm on a Wednesday and I was on hold for maybe 3 or 4 minutes. I spoke with Bree and she was friendly and super helpful. Before I had even hung up the phone she had sent me an email with instructions, and she sent me the waiver as soon as I replied to the email. Thank you so much this made my week!
Ash Around: I just can't even... I've had to call them twice for two of my vehicles because I travel full time and honestly I almost wish I had to call them more! Their service is so out of the ordinary and extraordinary for a government body and it is soooo refreshing. Leah Betts obviously knows great management and how to keep a happy team, which means super super tax payer here! Last person I spoke with was Christine and she was killer helpful! Thank you!
Greg Hunter: The assessor and the collectors offices are beyond awesome. If you have ever dealt with the similar offices in other cities/states, you will know what I mean when I say that these people ALWAYS solve your issue immediately, happily and completely. They completely DONT suck!
Cherry B.: Used to be satisfied with their services for many years, but for the past two years, we never received our statement and of course after a month or two of the deadline, got our delinquent notice! Sooo frustrated. Very impossible we missed our mail since we are very careful on checking each one of those mails...Incompetent , whoever is assigned on it and now we suffer by paying the interest for SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!!!

Revenue Department: what do users think?
Jeff Riddell: We went to two license bureaus. One had lines out the door, the second was closed due to covid quarantine. No lines at all at the revenue office.
David Mills: Totally useless people here. I did everything they ask of me to get a clean and clear title and they tell me it will be 7-10 day, took a moth. Just to get a new title with the lien still showing. The manager blamed a glitch in the system and said I have to come back in and do everything again while knowing it was their fault. I get to pay for it all over too.Can you call the Better Business Bureau on the DMV?
Tyler Smith: This business appears to be an organized criminal syndicate involved in among other things; fraud, extortion, conspiracy and collusion, racketeering and they dont even offer service with a smile. Avoid this corporation at all cost.

Greene County Assessor: what do users think?
Kim Fanning: Lacy is amazing!! She got everything figured out.
Abyssal Bourne: Would be a 5 star if Lisa wasnt a rude and raised her voice on the phone at me. everyone esle gets a 5 star. Dont care if you been there 10 years or not, you do not be rude to people who are just trying to pay their taxes and get information. If you cant handle it thenyou should rethink your career.
Mike Carroll: They totally misplaced my mailed assessment, offered no excuse or reason and it happened to dozens of my friends that mailed theirs too. Brent Johnson needs to explain or can't expect my vote in the future. ☹
Lana Whitlock: Very helpful !!
Mary Jo Hodges: Line went fast. Friendly yet professional.
Michael: Everything is in a bubble but you're gonna still make everyone pay taxes on that false bubble.
Truckin Along With Kearsey: I spoke to Kate and Lisa from the tax assessor and collectors offices. They were both sweet and friendly, as well as informative. Thanks ladies!
Steven Derevencha: A really helpful office. They were incredibly professional and sent over resources explaining how the assessment process works so I can be ready for next year.
Jan Ramsey: Annette with the Assessor’s office did an outstanding job helping me by phone this week and I just wanted to recognize that. She was friendly and efficient making the whole process pleasant. I appreciate all your office does for the community. Thank you!
Kimberly Nicely: Don't say that your office is open until 4:30 PM if all of your different departments are going to stop answering phone calls between 4:15pm and 4:30pm. I understand that your employees don't want to get stuck on a phone call past 4:30pm but don't advertise you are open and available if your employees don't want to do their job. 90% of the time, if I call after 4:15 PM, I never get through to anyone. That's not a coincidence. That's a pattern. Since your offices choose to close before most people even get out of work for the day, the least your employees can do is answer the phone up until 4:30pm.
Gabe Purdy: Currently sitting on hold for 37 minutes. This is totally unacceptable. Literally did my first google review ever for this because the service is so terrible.
Christina Woods: Was quick in&out
Justin Jenkins: Critical:Quality,ResponsivenessCalled and immediately got put on hold. Waited 30 minutes at which time the call was automatically disconnected. This happened twice smh...
Robin Harlow: I had my 17 year old son with me and he was doing his first property assessment in order to register his first vehicle. The employee impressed me because spoke directly with my son instead of me and explained some of the process to him. Thank you to the employee that made his first experience at the assessor's office positive!
tom wells: Government employees try to help
Amanda Layman: So much fun every time.
David Daniels: Staff was very helpful, not a long wait. Other GCA offices are awful, the younger staff at the other locations are mostly rude and unhelpful. They are also not very good at their jobs as it takes them forever to perform the simplest of tasks. But not this location, they are very good at what they do and are always pleasant to work with.
Shana Nutter: Were very nice and helpful. Went on a Monday, there were no lines
Noel Sheffield: Had to call a few numbers finally got the right department and they were so helpful.... wish the website was better and more useful an user-friendly.
Shelia Estes: I called them they was so efficient and just right on helping me things has changed since the coronavirus you don't go in there so it was really awesome that they even sent you know my exempt form over the Internet or over my messages and stuff and that was just really awesome that saved so much time I had it right then it was easy to get my I had to renew my ID my license everything my tag all of it and I couldn't have done it without you guys and you're you're great!!!
Cathy Monzingo: I never received a return phone call I'm totally new to Missouri and wanted to confirm if this was seriously from the state or Greene County Assessor.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Taxpayer Assistance Center: what do users think?
Terry Dober: Very friendly and helpful
Scott Abbott: I really appreciate the call back from the IRS so I didn't have to wait on hold for an hour.
Elisabeth Ramer: Just show up and then you can give them 5 stars (: calling gets you no where.. but it was worth going in, they helped us very efficiently after a 20 min. wait..
Justin Clevenger: If I could give zero Stars I would
lps Emma: Does anybody actually work there or they just dont answer phones
Tim snyder: Very rude will not answer the phone l! Pointless people! Should be fired and shut down!
Minckies: The phone number does nothing, you can't even make an appointment due to "extremely high call volumes" and then the phone call ends. But honestly nobody's calling this place and if they do it's a last resort because their customer service is so terrible. I wouldn't be calling this number if my questions were answered on the website.
Tamara Young: What's the point in having the phone number there if literally nobody there to answer the phone
Cristni Tucker: Unresponsive
Jake: This place shouldn't have a phone number if they dont have in person calls and due to covid you can not visit them either.
Yolanda Rich: Can't get toa live person to answer the phone.
Swamp Donkey: Made an appointment with their 1-800 number. Showed up at the agreed time, I was done in about 30 min. And they were actually friendly! 👍
Jerry Wasmer: Super friendly from the security guard to the employees. ...surprisingly great experience considering the nature of the visit
Caitlin The Barbarian: I went in a while ago to get some papers from the office. They were much more helpful than over the phone personnel. If you truly can't wait long and afraid there will be too many people, schedule an appointment. Appointments go first ALL before walk ins, then it goes in order of who came first. Security was very nice and the employee that helped me was very kind as well. I waited an hour, but I didn't schedule an appointment.
Kimberly May: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! if you don't, you will be sitting and waiting for some time. The rent-a-cop out front shewho checks you in could use some personality and patience.
Allie Toman: Very nice experience with the people there :)Just make your appointment over the phone, especially if it's their busy season, and they can help you!
Nature Hills: Staff is great including the security guard. You might be there for awhile. Please update the irs.gov website. Whatever information it has on someone needs to be updated on the irs end, if it’s not you can’t login or create an account. The staff was unable to fix this issue. Who can? 4-21-19
Dean Asby: we don't talk to people on the phone.... omg lol... i put 1 star because there is no way to put a negative star
Mark Howe: Helpful service!
Kayla Zibell: Fast, friendly, great experience.Made an appointment the day before, got through security super fast, and even though we were 25 minutes early they got us help immediately.Jerry was laid back, very friendly, and made it not a stressful ordeal.
Janice. Click: Can not get through to a human to talk with them about anything. Robots are taking over!
