Doughboy Military Collectibles: what do users think?
daniel Stephens: Not open? Is it closed? Or by appointment only?
Pamla Hart: This is an amazing place for the entire family! There are so many unique and obscure items that you won't find anywhere else, but many practical and useful items also.. Ron is polite and very knowledgeable about his inventory or appraisals. He is honest about the value of and offers appropriate compensation for items brought in for appraisal. It is always a treat to visit this store.
Shannon Allgood: If you are going to have hours posted on your website, please make sure they are accurate for travelers that are going out of their way to come to your facility.
Ryan Leoanrd: If 0 stars was a thing that is what it would be.
Grant: This store is incredible if you collect militaria. Great prices and the owner is very helpful. I will definitely be stopping back a lot
Nicholas Coe: Ron is an incredibly honest guy. You get what you pay for but his knowledge is priceless. I've known him and Doughboy for many years. Always a fair deal. Thanks for all the great conversations buddy!
Steve Weber: Great place for War Relics. Ron Lorenz (Owner) is a wealth of knowledge and a great guy.
Mark Penrod: Drove all the way from NE Kansas for what?? Store not opened as advertised!!! Ummm....ex-military running this place?? That's a sad thought.
Mary Jane Ward: Went to the location to only find out is was closed. Have tried to go back only to find out it was closed again.
Dennis Driver: Very cool place friendly knowledgeable and lots of stuff their to look at
Rodney Sewell: Cool store. I'll probably be shopping there a lot.
fryarmike: Hours are spotty, to be sure... but to echo the poster below- there is nothing like this shop within hundreds of miles of here. I’ve been all over the country, and there’s stuff here I’ve never seen ANYWHERE else. I bought a couple things I knew were impossible to find and his prices were SPOT ON what they were worth; he honestly could’ve charged more due to the rarity. Springfield is actually really lucky to have a place like Doughboy in their town.
Pacific North-Westerner: WOW! In all my life, I have NEVER seen such an incredible collection of military collectibles. I was in the military for ten years, and it has been many more since I got out. I was confused if the place was a museum, or a store! Couldn't believe some of the spectacular items for sale! Place is clean, very well organized, and not full of "military-like" stuff you find in the generic military surplus shops. If you are looking for a hard-to-find badge, medal, pin, not sure if they are online, but worth calling. Owner has a Marine Corps background, very informed, helpful, and clearly takes pride in his shop. Every town my wife and I travel to, we always hit military surplus. This was a rare and amazing find! If you are looking for racks of Rothco second rate 'military-style' junk, this isn't the place. If you are wanting real, high quality, genuine, ACTUAL military collectibles, I have found no better! Oh! And on the way out the door, the entrance has military challenge-coins and tokens inlaid in the concrete! Had to stop and marvel at the fantastic display. Best I have ever seen in literally dozens of shops across the country. (see photos)
Kembo Jango: It’s like a museum, where you can buy what you like . Awesome
Arthur Layten: It was closed
Not Me: Has been as honest and on the level with me. Has nice selection of good quality items. I believe I would say he's treated me fair.Runs the kind of shop you don't find to many theses days.
Dann Duncan: Very exciting has antique Military items if interested in history
Richard Spencer: I have done business with Ron for 20 years and always found him to be trustworthy and very knowledgeable in all areas of his career. Great guy with quality militaria!
Gary Snell: Amazing store, with great prices and freely shared his knowledge of what he has in store.
Andy Anderson: Don’t know how or if he is in business. He is never there, answers the phone and never returns his messages.
Brycen Osborne: Very nice place. Do recommend.

Sunny Lockwood: Wow. Just wow. Walking around this place made me feel like I had been saved from the constant dread I usually felt when faced with the burden of feeding a large family in the midst of soaring food prices. I was amazed at the low rices of name brand products. Yeah, the stuff is close to the "best buy" date, but so what? I'm not usually trying to buy food I can keep for a decade anyway. In so excited to go back on Monday! Im gonna be telling everyone u can to visit Greene county Freight! Your money will actually go pretty far here!

Fort Barnes Military Surplus91lp: what do users think?
Bryan Jeffrey: Place has really changed. Somehow it's not the same anymore. Maybe they are still working to expand on the store. At least I hope so
CJ Davis: What a great place for all your military surplus needs! They also have a great selection of firearms as well. Possibly the best part is the service here. They have a great staff that is very knowledgeable and happy to provide help! All in all, this is a fantastic place to visit and their recent remodel has allowed them to carry more items in stock than before. Check them out today!
Kevin Ward: Wide selection and reasonable prices.
Josh Freeman: Great deal on bulk 9mm. Lots of inventory, very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Def one of the better stores in the area. Thanks
Janie Brackett: Friendly lady behind the counter..I think her name is Karen. Never know what you might find.
Keaton J: Thought there would be more military gear.
Denver Miller: Some interesting stock but owner/clerk was distant and non communicative to new faces. More of a tacti-cool store than a surplus.
Mike Burns: Lots of stuff good prices and friendly people
julia fry: Had a good selection and good prices an excellent selection of ball caps including some military hats that are hard to find. Did not have what I was looking for. But it was a new cartridge and I was just checking not really expecting to find.
Ines Swann: Friendly staff variety of merchandise and they custom make guns
K Fennell: Nice store. Lots of military surplus-type items, various odds and ends and accessories. Ammo prices typical for a walk-in store but I only buy my ammo bulk wholesale online anyway. If you go here, you'll always find something to buy, even if you didn't need anything when you walked in. I would recommend.
Crystal Farris: Great people
J: Stopped in today to give this place a once over as I am always in the market for prepping and I buy in bulk. I was not impressed. They have 3 or 4 aisles, not much selections and the layout leaves much to be desired, looks like the back stockroom of a Kmart a week before the store closes down. They have way too much of things you don't need like ammo cans, flashlights and paracord you could get at Harbor Freight or Walmart for 3/4 of the price. They have some young beta male trying to be alpha in his 20s or 30s with his little "trying to butch up" facial hair and when I gave him a nod and a wave he looked straight at me and went out of his way to ignore. Must be tiny down there. Psst, alpha males are usually nice guys because they have nothing to prove and have gotten over themselves. Was going to buy a flight jacket other small items but the cust service put me off. Avoid.
Chris Miller: This was the first time I was able to take my service dog in training to a store. He did better than expected. He wasn't a fan of the masked mannequin, lol. The staff were so helpful and understanding. This is by far,one of my favorite stores! Thank you again for allowing us to stock up! The folks that shop at this store are top notch.
John Marberry: Great selection of items!Prices are very good too!
Christopher Neal: Been going here for years. Love getting survival gear here.
Julia Kukuk: On a whim we pulled off the road and stopped at this great store!! The staff was a pleasure to visit with and the shop is full of great items and even better prices!! Will stop again!
keri: Came in looking for a belt and found a bumper sticker from my grandpa's military branch of service was completely happy as I I have never found one before
Nick Brewer: Interesting surplus/ gun shop they definitely had more ALICE gear than any place I've seen in years fair price on most thing some items were definitely priced not to sell
Ryan: Lots of cool stuff well worth the time to stop by.
Jen Fasick: Seems like they’re just getting open but they have a great variety of stuff definitely something for everyone in the family
