Doc Trins O'Grace: These folks took wonderful care of me and my family as I faced stage 4 throat cancer. It was inoperable, so they used some 35 treatments of radiation and chemo. I am now cancer free. I have enormous respect for Mercy staff -- from janitors to the most elite specialists. God bless them, each and every one of them.

He is the most Sympathetic doctor I have ever met and I wish him great future as he moves with his family to California. Very sad to see him go.

Chris Dame: Had a appointment for 8:40 at 9:25 I left still was setting in the waiting room. They schedule way more people than they can see. Very poor management.

Rachael Ross: I wish there was a ZERO score here. We have always stuck with Mercy, but have been forced to seek help elsewhere. My Jim has been having shots in his back for pain management. His new appointment for his next shot was made when he got his last shot in November. He was supposed to have his shot today. However, when we came in for the appointment, Jim was informed it was only an appointment to discuss his pain management. He almost lost it. He has been SUFFERING horribly waiting for this day to get here, only to be turned away. He had to get a different clinic to discuss better surgery options. Mercy doctors have told him his shifted vertebrae will have to be frozen in place. That means he would always be suffering and in pain. We have since found out there ARE other OPTIONS that will FIX the shifted vertebrae and pain. Mercy has absolutely dropped the ball in this instance.

The next nurse and then all the scores of helpful, funny, professional folks who made the visit enjoyable were all great people. Dr Henderson is such a kind, caring soul and treated me with respect at all times- Mercy Surgery you are an incredible team:)

Rob Fridge: The facilities are fantastic (except the ER) and most people are doing their best to provide great care. I have personally received great care from excellent docs and nurses at Mercy. The problem is that they are so mismanaged and overbuilt, there is not enough staff for the amount of business they get. I know insurance mainly dictates whether you are a Cox or Mercy customer, but if you have any hospital choice, I can't recommend the good people at Mercy...really miss the old St Johns hospital and management!

Steph Day: I have been here twice with two different family members. The overall experience both times was easy and things went smoothly. Most of the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional. However, there have been one or two staff members here and there that were more rude than friendly, and not as helpful with kids as they should have been. Hopefully that is not the experience for someone else.

Christy Burrows: If I could add a negative star instead of one star I definitely would.Four days prior to surgery day my husband went to the ER by ambulance. Waited 5 plus hours only to be seen for 30 minutes and told they couldn’t do much and sent him on his way in massive pain with a script for Valium so he could just relax. After that we had to go to do an ekg and x-ray in which he was in level 10 plus pain and they didn’t seem to care or change anything because it “had to be done”. He could not sit or stand due to his surgical need. However during the x-ray he was forced to sit. He was crying in pain.The day of surgery my husband was in level 10 pain sitting in a wheelchair and I told the registration person when we came in that they were expecting us after we had spoken to several people for pre-registration and nursing and he needed a bed right away. He was due to have back surgery that morning and his pain level was off the chart. Waited another 5 minutes while 40 plus people in the waiting room were staring at us as he was moaning loudly in pain and still we waited as they took others to rooms. Went up to the desk and demanded to speak to a patient advocate all while my husband was nearly sobbing and finally a couple minutes later we were taken to a room. This is the worst hospital system we have ever experienced. Would love to share a video of my poor husband so you can see how real the pain level is but I will not embarrass him in that way. Apparently the patient really doesn’t matter even though we were told by several people over the phone that there would be no waiting and all registration would be done in the room at bedside. We were told they would be expecting us and a room would be ready immediately. What a dang joke.As a side note the doctor and nurses were phenomenal but the bureaucracy hindered their ability to effectively do their job and prevent him from being in terrible pain.

Billie Welch: Nurses and Dr. were all wonderful woman at front is awful she yelled at a older woman waiting on her husband for coughing she told her it was the third time and as the woman put a mint in her mouth she told her no more. Then I also saw her being rude to a older man for having his mask down while trying to tell his family a update on his wife. It would be nice if you could find someone with a smile on their face to greet people. 😊

James Collins: Some of the finest primary care and endocrinology doctors in Springfield; quite possibly the planet; they have the same type of support staff as well; I wish there were six or seven stars to give them☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

remington brake: Terrible, not a patient but was a driver for a patient. While the patient isn't in the room I'm not allowed to step outside or go get a drink without someone here following me. Originally my girlfriend was the driver, but do to the harassment she had to leave. Don't book here and let them try and treat your family like prisoners.

AbduAllah Rifai: Dr. Connor Barnes is not only a great doctor but a great person as well! He is very knowledgable and helpful. He will make sure you know all of your options and is willing to take all the extra steps for your comfort. The staff is very nice and understanding as well!

Ryan Holiday: I recently was treated by Dr. Connor Barnes and had 4 cysts removed. I am genetically predisposed to developing cysts and have had the procedure done a few times in my life. This was the least painful, least stressful, and quickest experience I have had. Dr. Barnes is professional, kind, funny, and talented. The nursing staff and the ladies at the front desk are all amazing people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and safe. I feel terrible for not remembering their names but I am horrible with name and only remembered the Dr.'s because it is on my appointment card. I will always remember their faces and I am very thankful for the help I received. Thank You!!!!

V P: I had surgery here in 2019 with Dr. Hawes. While he was polite he actually made me worse than before I came in. Now when other professionals see me they tell me that he actually ruined me. Now I have to try and find someone to fix the areas he made worse. I can’t speak for the other surgeons but I wouldn’t go here. I had a dream of getting certain things fixed and it was crushed. When I tried to call afterward with concerns, I was brushed off and told it was supposed to be that way. So, I never felt I was heard or concerns were addressed and definitely nothing was fixed.

Fast forward to surgery day. I was so nervous I almost left but Dr. Shaw and his team are absolutely amazing. They calmly talked me through all my concerns and fears. I got the surgery and I couldn't be happier. First off I look absolutely amazing. Second I had no pain whatsoever which really surprised me. I'm healing so quickly and my results are stunning. I could not have asked for a better surgeon or surgical team. I am 1 month post op and feel amazing. If I have any concerns I am receive immediate responses. I am now going back to get a facial by Whitney and im beyond excited. Here is why, I have severe dry skin. I have tried everything to fix it. She recommended me some creams and my face feels and looks absolutely amazing. I can't wait for the facial and have even more amazing results.
