Quilt Sampler Inc.: what do users think?
Kim Henderson: They listed some fabric for sale online. I ordered 2 of them, paid and was waiting to be notified of when my order would be ready. They claim there was a typo and told me the price is now $30 higher each. Then cancelled my order. What a terrible way to run a business. The price should have been honored and order filled. If you go into a store and they have the price wrong, they honor the price they're showing the consumer. It should be the same way here. I will never shop here again & I will tell everyone to avoid them. Horrible customer service.
Era Justice: This store sells a nice selection of quilting fabrics, as well as a nice selection of different sewing and embroidery machines. I've shopped at this store for several years, and they were always very helpful, however, when I recently purchased an embroidery sewing machine from them, I saw a different side of their business and customer service. They don't provide any beginner embroidery classes, nor much support for learning the intricacies of machine embroidery. They're more interested in conducting high dollar (I.e. several hundred dollar) classes instead of the more simple embroidery classes to help new machine embroiderers. When I asked if they did/would do any type of beginner classes, my request fell on deaf ears. It is very frustrating, when asking for help, to be told "bring your finished project in and I'll tell you what you did wrong." That might help me for the next time, but my current project is ruined. I'm very disappointed in the "after purchase" service/help I've received from Quilt Sampler.
Cindy Heisserer: Rudest owners worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Sold my daughter a machine they knew wasn’t suited for her needs just for the commission of the salesperson.
E: Heads up on buying here!! These folks don’t do machine returns whatsoever. I wouldn’t buy a machine from them since they wouldn’t take it back even if you changed your mind and haven’t opened the box yet. They just want you to upgrade.
Marie Sellers: My favorite quilt shop in Missouri! You will be met by a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff when you come in the door. They offer a wide variety of fabrics, quilting and embroidery supplies and notions. I have purchased 2 of my Brother sewing machines there and my Bernina Longarm quilting machine as well as a Brother sewing machine for my mother in law. They are always helpful if I have a question.
The Clarks: It is so nice to find a shop that is like this one. Friendly, talented and do repairs. We had our Bernena tuned up and the man who worked on it was very knowledgeable. The police was reasonable and it took less than one week.
Lynn Smart: Aĺl of the people that work at Quilt Sampler are very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have the answer they will get it for you. They offer amazing classes, fabrics, and notions. They'll order it if they don't have it in stocks. Also Great parking ! A+++
Carmine H: Absolutely horrible service. I enjoy quilting and spend an average of $200-300 a month on fabric and supplies (my 2 daughters quilt with me too). I ended up buying a very expensive Pfaff machine there, after 6 months it was skipping stitches. I brought it back to be serviced, and was charged because the timing was off. I had to remind them that it was *still* under warranty and should not have been charged for that. They huffed and withdrew the charge. In March of 2020, I had signed up for a class that was cancelled due to COVID. By August, they had still not rescheduled, so I reached out to see if I could get a refund. No response back. So on October 12, I reached out again to find out what was going on. Both the shop and I agreed that it would just be placed as a credit on my account there. Today I sent my husband in to pick up a teflon foot and a package of leather needles for me. My husband told Cristen (the owner) to apply it against the balance in my account with them. Cristen told him that they had mailed me a check over 2 years ago. She then said it *was* a credit on my account, but it was only to go towards a cleaning of my machine. My husband said he would step outside of the store to give her time to figure out how she was going to handle it since she couldn't keep her story straight. When he went back inside, she had brought Brad, the machine repairman over to watch over my husband for some reason. My husband was not threatening, or mean, or demeaning, or had even raised his voice (in fact - he was joking around with another lady shopping in the store about how he was the errand boy for his wife). Regardless, she *finally* applied the refund to my account and my poor husband left. They will never get my hefty business again and I will find another shop to service my machine.
robin helvey: I’ve been shopping at quilt sampler for a long time, they are the best in town for a few reasons. The selection of products is top notch but what brings me back every time is the employees. Any one of them will go out of their way to help you, but will also just let you shop without pressure. We are also lucky to have a shop owner that puts on events and educational classes, she cares for her customers!! My happy place.
Michael Cook: Friendly staff very knowledgeable.
jennifer Mehrtens: I also love their scrap bin for my other projects, so fun!
Judith Von Ohlen: Friendly and great quilt shop whether for classes, fabric or machine maintenance!
Jeanine Amrak: Thank you for acknowledging my post, I changed it to 5 stars for the simple fact that you care , I believe there was a sign on the door that said u all were open and that was the confusion.
Jan Milton: Wonderful place to purchase a sewing machine. They even offer classes for those like me who don't know how to sew
Barb Palmer: Would be a 5, but prices are a little bit high. Great selection of fabric, patterns, etc
Karen Carroll: As usual great and informative. This shopping experience was very helpful.
carol baer: Wide range of quality fabric s. Sewing machines for sale and service available.
Tammy Condren: This shop is OUTSTANDING in customer service! They have answered calls on weekends, holidays, evenings, FaceTimed me through issues, and never make me feel like I’m ‘putting them out’. I even had a melt down, drove to the shop with my machine and they sat down beside me and walked me through my issue.I couldn’t ask for better service and follow up from a shop!AND they’ve gone over and above to serve during Covid through Live feeds, on line classes, discounts and shipping, etc. Great selection of fabrics and products! ❤️ Quilt Sampler!
Becca Lawson: I'm not usually a review writer, but especially after having glanced at the other reviews here I thought this deserves an exception.I had called to make an appointment to bring my Bernina in for maintenance since I had heard I could get same day service here and it's hard for me to be away from my machine too long. ;)Brad got started immediately and invited me to ask questions if I had any, so I stuck around to watch for a bit and found it so interesting that I ended up staying for the whole thing. Of course he got it running smoothly again, I expected that. But he also demonstrated features I was unsure about and showed me the best way to keep it up, never making me feel like a pest for asking so many questions.I walked out of there feeling like I had been to the salon for an overdue haircut - like a weight was lifted, fresh, and excited to try it out for myself when I got home. Now that I have a shop I'm comfortable with, I certainly won't wait so long to have it serviced again.Regarding the shop's service that others have mentioned: I, for one, appreciate being able to look around without someone constantly hovering. I found all the other employees to be available, responsive, and helpful as soon as I needed them. I appreciated the casual atmosphere and the large fabric selection. So many lovely things to choose from and tastefully presented.
Roxanne Ramirez: I'm not usually one to write reviews, let alone negative ones. I know everybody has a bad day every once in a while, but what I saw and heard needed to be shared. The owner is just a mean, hateful old lady. She was berating customers for shopping elsewhere. It didn't matter to her that they didn't have what they were looking for. She was just being mean and nasty to what appeared to be a long time customer. I can hardly imagine what she says when there aren't other people around. The owner is the textbook definition of a "Karen". I always try to keep my money local, but I would implore anyone reading this to take their money elsewhere, even if the elsewhere is a big box store. I will not be going back because of this disgraceful act. If she treats her customers this badly, maybe it's time to retire.
Jennifer Thomas: Great customer service, excellent fabric selection, and very inspirational quilt shop!

Merrily We Quilt Along: what do users think?
Nancy Hopkins: I live in St Louis and have shopped at this store for many years. Fantastic customer service and the best prices anywhere.
Samantha Pickard: I was in the middle of a project and realized I didn't purchase enough yardage from my local fabric shop. When I went back, they had completely sold out of what I needed. Thankfully, Merrily had exactly what I needed, and it just arrived today with enough time to finish my project for this weekend. ❤️
Charlotte Willis: Last week my Bernina 660 had a major melt down. I took it in to be fix. I'm newer to the area I live in and stopped by Merriley We Quilt alone, by recommendation, to just check out the Bernina machines. Long story short I bought a new machine. I couldn't be happier. I need to thank Connie for all her wonderful help and time. It's a great shop.
John Rowe: Quilt Shop
Emilie White: Visited this shop in March of this year. Folks the ladies in this shop were very friendly and helpful to our group of 10 ladies.Great selection of fabrics and patterns to chose from. Many sample quilts displayed for ideas.I highly recommend this shop.

Old Deuteronomy: Excellent service and friendly staff.
charlene yingst: I took my Bernina to be serviced routinely. I drive an hour and a half to take it them because they are trustworthy and always do a great job. I am always treated with great service and the ladies in this shop are always so kind, knowledgeable and helpful!! The shop is beautiful and so much fun to shop! I recommend it above any shops I have visited!
Sherry A: Went in Needing Thread and Bobbins. Which they have , but we're out of the One We needed ! They offered to Order , but we needed Sooner ! They had some BEAUTIFUL kits , Wish I hadn't already bought my Next Project ! Next Time ! Will be Going Back in the Future ! The Ladies were Very Helpful! Nice Place ,We Were in a Hurry on a Mission! Till we Have More time! Beautiful Fabrics ! People were trying out Machines ! Ladies were Helpful !
Tyri Powell: A few weeks ago I drove down to Springfield to look at various shops that sold higher end machines. Out of 4 places I went, I really liked this place the most! I tested I don't know how many machines that day, but I discovered I really liked only 3 machines at my level that day. One happened to be here! What made it simple for me was my experience with the people who ran their shops.I went home and told my hubs what I found. I got the eye roll from him! But then literally, the next day, my machine I had decided to quit. So I called and asked him for a new one while he was at work. the reply....I'm not buying you another throw away machine. So this last weekend we went back down to Springfield and I took him to see the one I liked. Not knowing anything about Bernina, I walked away and let him talk with the nice lady (forgot her name) that helped us. While I was getting more fabric that I previously bought, he surprised me! She walked up to me saying I'm all set to go! I was like "WHAT"??? I did not think he was going to buy it! I was just there to show him!So off to the learning room I went and she went over the basics with me and showed me everything it came with.I am in love with place and will be stopping in every time I go down there!!The End!!I highly recommend these ladies!
Vanessa Johnston: Great service, products and friendly helpful employees.
Connie Gill: Great selection, helpful staff
John Johnson: I called to see what they had in the way of a used Bernina. I’m from out of town and decided I wanted to take a class at another store and needed a machine. Was put on hold while she looked up the price of a 350 she had traded in. Came to the shop to look at the machine and was treated unbelievably rude the moment I walked in the door. A tall thin lady with white hair asked how she could help me and when I said I would like to look around she rolled her eyes at me and glanced at the other employee and walked away. I looked around the store and was impressed by the selection and machine selection. Was very impressed they at the 890 serger and the new limited edition 790 (I work for a Bernina dealer in another state as an educator and technician). I was about to ask about the used 350 when I noticed the same rude employee watching me. She asked what I was doing and I explained I worked for another shop in another shop and she said “fine but we don’t allow photos to be taken in this shop”. In no way was I taking photos. My phone was in my hand but other then that I in no way made any indication I was trying to take photos of anything. At that point I decided my business was better taken elsewhere. I purchased a few small items (I try to support all small businesses) and left. I have never been made to feel so unwelcome. The rude employee cost them an $800 sale. Also, I will be letting my Bernina rep know how nasty they were and make sure he has words with their rep. I can’t believe Bernina would want their machines sold by a store that would allow an employee to be so openly rude to a customer.
Melissa Spake: Amazing fabrics, incredible service, love this place.

B-Sew Inn: what do users think?
Debbie Nichols: Thank you Todd! He was nice enough to solve my sewing machine problem over the phone. Excellent customer service. Saved me time and money.
Margaret: grateful to meet the staff at B Sewin their patience, helpful, ready to teach all about their sewing tricks or how common sewing techniquesho
Michael Babcock: Very friendly people and helpful
Joyce Baker: The Technician, Paul, walked me through a fix on my Solaris 2. He saved me an hour plus long trip to Springfield. I would give him a higher rating if I could. This gentleman cares about his customers!!
Leonna Crawford: I first went to B Sew Inn because another store was kind of rude to me & rushed me through. But B Sew Inn is definitely not like that at all. She took her time with me, explaining everything I needed to know. Then she showed me her least expensive machines because I am on a fixed budget. She just won me over, even though she didn’t need to. B Sew Inn definitely has my vote!!
Randy Truman: The people who work at this store are wonderful and very helpful. They do not make you feel bad that you dont own the most expensive machine ( I been to another store where if you dont own one of the machine they sell they will snub you . sad but true).. I have to drive 2 hours to get to the store and its worth the drive. You will be happy to go there!
Dawn Hall: Always find something I need! Everyone who works there are very friendly and helpful!
Joanne Hemphill: Informative, friendly staff.
Sherry Peitz: Very knowledgeable and great customer service.
Amy Grace: This is a fabulous shop. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The space has beautiful light that showcases the amazing amount of thread in every color and fiber variety.
Monica Rodhouse: This company cares about what they do and their customers! Would call them again for any sewing machine needs I have.
Janice Robertson: I have been a fan of BEE SEW INN since they came to Springfield.First visited their store at Chesterfield Village. followed them to the Battlefield Rd. location and absolutely LOVE the new store at 3046 S. Kimbrough Ave. in Springfield, Missouri.Magnificent Building. Great Staff. Awesome inventory. The only thing that would make it better is "FABRIC" One stop shopping!
Sherry A: Sales were not Competitive Today ! But, Usually are ?
james webster: Tried to do business with these folks. Bought a baby lock machine from the website. When it arrived we found that the description was inaccurate and was not what they said it was. We took it to the Springfield location 30 miles away. They replaced it with a machine that was obviously worn out. After three attempts and 300 miles they could not get the job done and pressured us to spend more money. They finally; after alot of song and dance, refunded our money. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Tim Nicholas: I have purchased two sewing machines in this store and the service has been top notch. Friendly and always willing to bend over backwards to help their customers.
Faye Nelson: People are always welcoming and friendly to.
Barbara Carr: Best group of ladies
Yvette Ayres: Bright, beautifully invigorating spaces. Nice organization and information in each sakes area plus nice classroom space. And staff are helpful without being pushy. Really great place to spend money, thoughtfully.
Hzl B: There no words, i know of that conveys how the staff at Bee Sew Inn treated me Most praise, i give - Had trouble w/ machine ( newly purchased - lowest price they had ) (( All i could afford ))But they treated me and my new machine, like we were royalty. Got it fixed, THANK YOU Taught me about threads, cheap vs quality ( lesson well learned ).
Brenda Sutton: Wonderful employees that are extremely helpful. Beautiful new facility with so much space.
Evie S: I have not been to the new location yet, but the customer service at the old store was fantastic so it should only be better at the new and bigger store. Love all my Babylocks!

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
SuzyQ: Just be honest when you put stuff on SALE please put a sign in front of the items i HATE going up see there a 25% off when i want to use my 50% everything is always on sale why are you sending coupons for its a weast in money on your end and you have to market up for the mailing and paper. Just marketing use your heads get it together. Everything is on sale but not listed so all coupons are worth.
Amanda Savoie: Very friendly staff that helped me figure out the best fabric and colors for what I was looking for!
christine klein: Love this store
Joshua Knapton: Great place to get DIY things.
Cheri Hall: So disappointed peri remember the days when Joanne she's to have a broad selection and variety of many kinds of fabrics And trim's, etc. I went in the other day and they had absolutely nothing that would even come close to a simple fabric that I was looking for. I understand that shipping is a problem but I have been enjoying several times in the past year or 2 and it has been no different. I probably will not go back.
Michael Romero: We couldn't stop picking fabrics , as soon as we found the perfect quilt material we found a perfecter one. Deep discounts on " Last Chance " fabrics led us to buy five times more than we came in for.The cutting table clerk was very knowledgeable and very patient with all our questions and all our " Oh ! And add this ! Oh wait , this too ! "We can't wait to finish these projects and go back.
L T: Great place to get holiday items
Kell P: Great place for crafty people, they have many different fabrics to choose from, a big selection of jewelry parts. Many kinds of yarn, and their prices are reasonable. Will continue to shop here.
Melissa Enlow: I always shop here, is always clean and the workers are nice
allyn jones: i got home and found a booger wiped on the bag that held my items
Cora Ridge: Waited 19 minutes for a cashier, then they took people out of order to ring up purchases. I put my items on the counter and walked out.
Kathy Bruxvoort: I was a little disappointed at the lack of "baking" accessories at that store 🏬...I'd like to see a whole aisle dedicated to "Baking!"
Brandon Lauthern: Kind and helpful staff with a reasonable selection. The store is always tidy and there is a lot to choose from.
Dave Blase: Fair prices good selection issues maneuvering around ares if your disabled.
Debora Lesmes: Need to update their Caron Yarn; missing a lot of colors.
Mrs Me: Wanna be hob lob. Customer service is terrible. Ridiculous excuse for a craft store.
G. S. White: Everything we needed for our project!
Samm H.: The employees are always friendly.
Helen Sanders: Very sweet cashier , very professional.Found what I needed in the store. Fast in. Fast out!
Zoe Page: The ladies here went above and beyond to help with an extremely last minute and large purchase for a business! From helping with getting exact measurements to having literally the perfect amount of supplies needed, to helping carry to my car! They were all diligent with excellent customer service!
Daniel Moreno: Good place to get your crafts, a bit pricey though so bring coupons!

Michaels: what do users think?
The Clarks: We often shop here and always enjoy it.
Paul Jarisch: Excellent customer service. Prices are very reasonable.
Sheryl Banks: I used online shopping.
Sandra Smith: I was picking up an order for my daughter. I took them awhile to get it, but they came out and informed me they were having some issues with the order but would have it out as fast as they could.
N M: Great jewelry making section, but pricey. Always bring a coupon! Much smaller selection than the other hobby/craft store, but easier to get in and out of. Love their baskets. Nice art selection, as well. I love their photo boxes. Small, but pretty section of flowers. This place likes to use scents. I hate it. Gives me a migraine and my clothes smell like cheap holiday scents. They do have some nice fine art items.
Lisa Neal: I think they are pricey on their beads
Amy Patillo: Many new art activities and materials for young children. New racks and carts for the sewing and art room.
Melissa Hardy: The yarn section is pitiful. Also, it's 84 degrees outside and inside is HOTTER than the outside.
Gary Whitehead: Very helpful staff
Skylyn “Awesome Sauce” Billedo: My favorite craft store in springfield. Prices are nice, they have a lot of different brands, including cheaper off brands. Clearance always has good deals.
Afton Harper: I wish they had a bigger yarn variety like Joann's.
Oop Noop: Good prices and lots of craft, art and sewing essentials
A Mitchell: Had buttons for pants to replace without sewing
Barbara Allison: I can always find yarn I like for the project I'm working on
Trisha Marie: I feel like this place could go out of business soon. They have a lot of empty shelves, and it's pretty much impossible to find an employee.
Jesse Barron: This place had amazing deals on the circuit vinyl.
Debra C: I really love this store. There is so much variety!
steve peneyra: Go on weekday. We went on Thursday. Well stocked for what she needed.
Giovanni Valentine: Love this store. Love everyone there.
Tiffany Audu: This place so cute!
Oleg Razloga: Great for arts and craft.

Tandy Leather Springfield - 08: what do users think?
Roger Stoops: Tandy Leather helped me restain my motorcycle seat. It turned out beautiful! Thank you for your help and advice!
Jennifer Sandage: Tim, Bill, and Alisha are always willing to drop what they are doing to help find what you are looking for or give advice on your project.
Rachel Nelson: The delicious leather scent that hits you the minute you open the front door invites you to stay forever!Wonderful selection & friendly customer service!
Ronda Rust: Have a great selection of leather products. I went in for a belt. They measured me and cut and put holes in my belt withIn 20 minutes. Loved browsing through the other part of the store that has all kinds of gorgeous rocks and gems. Friendly staff.
Miranda Koyn: We’re new to leather work and had a lot of questions. Timothy was literally the most helpful person ever. He spent an hour with us answering all of our questions, pulling out all different leather for us to look at, and talking us through everything. I cannot thank him enough for sharing so much knowledge with us. 10/10 recommend!
Jody Haynes: Mighty fine folks very professional helpful kind an curious
Carmic Crocodile: Very nice. Clean. The guy who waited on us was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable individual. He didn't hesitate to give us a name and business card of another individual who could help us with making a garment. I'll definitely go back.
Bryan Crow: The staff here are super friendly and they always have the stock that I need.
D Bebber: Great leather belts and other items good for whipping people!
Cabe: Been in there a couple times. Each time I'm watched like a criminal. It's very obvious that they watch you. Follow you around the store etc. Very rude. Will not be going back.
gilbert travis: Great prices and great staff. Been using them for years!
Larry Huddleston: Just made a substantial purchase and was treated very well. The staff had plenty of tine to assist me and several other customers at the same time. My visit was great. I WILL be returning in the near future.
David Simmons: Decent leather shop. Great service and a good selection of goods.
Lawrence Lawshee: The customer service was great but I would never go there again because there's not much of a selection
John B: Very understaffed compared to Springfield Leather. They were friendly enough but I waited at the register for over 5 minutes for the clerk who was on the phone with another customer to cash out. Not sure if there were any other employees in the store or not, but they should have at least 2 in my opinion. Not only for customer service, but their safety as well. It is in Springfield after all.
Lenny Cook: The employees are always very friendly and helpful.
Michael Swetnam: They were very helpful getting me started in the leather crafting hobby.
Skyler P.: Man, the customer service here is terrible. I usually go to the Springfield Leather Company, but this Tandy place is much closer to my house. Nobody working there ever says hello. They stare at you as you aimlessly browse their overpriced selections, and when you ask for assistance, they act like they're being bothered. Don't waste your time here. Go to SLC. Better prices, better people, better products, and even greater customer service.
Garland Bowers: Friendly, helpful and recommend highly.
Jordan Beard: I took my, 9 year old, son for a beginner's lesson and the instructor was great. He was patient, attentive and gave vert clear and easy to understand instructions. We will go back again!!
Francisco Gutierrez: Loved it
