Andy Dalton Shooting Range: what do users think?
Tactical sweater: Too many rules, very distracting environment.
Diana Bath: Safety is #1 here. Excellent place to hone your skills in a well-maintained and beautiful area. Cheap too at $4/hr! You are covered and shaded in the summer. Love coming here and very highly recommend!
Roberto Hernandez: It’s a very well managed and safe shooting facility, about the best I’ve seen with courteous and friendly staff. I like it here and feel safe in spite of activities. The price is outstanding…..what’s there not to like!
Brandon Lauthern: A nice outdoor facility that takes safety very seriously. It is structured and well kept. The staff are helpful and courteous. It's cheap to spend an hour honing your skills.
Aaron S: Great shooting range. Only $4 an hour. It’s pretty sad that they chose to close the range the entire summer 2022 for “maintenance”. You would think that’s something they’d do in the off months of winter… highly disappointed this summer.
Jason Highley: Pistol / rifle range is closed due to renovation. "Could be closed for some time?
Kelly Haines: It's really too bad that they turned away a 7-year army veteran who did two tours in Iraq from the range because I did not have a hundred safety card. Are you serious? How ridiculous. I think if anybody knows how to handle a rifle it's a former soldier. That's okay I don't need to give you my business anyway.
Ben Hubbard: Targets were rigged to make you miss just like Andy dalton misses his receivers
Robert Cross: Great facility. Super friendly and professional. Safety is paramount. Love it.
E Wise: This is an amazing range! The facilities are very nice. The safety precautions are very good. The class of people make us choose this place over a free place like Buisic. The bathrooms here are well kept, and there are some nice walking trails with seats along the way.
Jim Quade: Great place to shoot! I took my Granddaughter to shoot last Sunday, they were very helpful and freindly, always safe and had a great facility. I'm going to bring her back for the archery range to shoot 3D targets soon. What a wonderful place to spend some time.
Mike Underwood: Love going here to shoot always friendly and very professional on the lanes.
Eric Guthrie: Nice range. Lots of safety rules. Slow to sight in since you have to wait for cease fire. But because of this it's safe. Spotting scope was not clear enough to see holes. Cheep to shoot and safe. Free targets. Staff is friendly and other shooters friendly as well. I recommend this range
Jc Bowden: Wow just wow.
Steve Lambert: A well-managed, safe range.
Tom Barnett: Great place well maintained and safe.
Aaron Isbell: Great set up, well operated setup. Only place i go to sit in my gun.
Randy Runion: Great, very well controlled and very clean. Hearing, vision and targets are included for 4 dollars an he.
Abel Briano: Excellent staff, helpful, knowledgeable & experienced. Range is designed with safty in mind. Shotgun field's has remote control target pull for single shooter.
Lee Nagel: Always a good time. Fairly prices.
Don “Unspoken989” Stockley: Super nice facility. Really well kept grounds. Trap, skeet and a great outdoor rifle and pistol range too. Archery, shotgun patterning the whole nine. My new favorite place to shoot. Will visit many times in the future.

Cherokee Firearms: what do users think?
Bill Mattocks: Nice facility... bought a pound of powder.
James Canter: Great facilities, friendly, helpful staff. The best range in Missouri
Mark Copeland: Wonderful place great people
Tamas Komodi: Nice shooting range, with safety in mind. Awesome gun selection, and they also carry knives for all walks of life!
Amie Lucas: Friendly and helpful. Great place for those learning the ropes of handling guns and practicing on the range!
T Ringen: I witnessed this incident. The gun that the young man had did not have a hammer. He pulled out the magazine then pointed the gun to the floor after looking around him to ensure that there was no one in the proximity. He then pulled the slide back to show them it was unloaded. He was treated so terribly. Not only myself but my other son who is a deputy with the Greene County sheriff's office will never be a customer at your establishment.
Dustin: would give 0 stars if i could stay away from this range!!!! they are very rude and jumpy i watched a poor young kid almost get shot by one of their employees because he was trying to show his gun was unloaded i even watched him take his magazine out of his gun i then what i think i seen as the employee put his hand on his gun then they proceeded to bash him and were very rude to the point he just ended up leaving I left shortly after this incident and will not be back and don't recommend anyone go to this range they had no paper stating the rules and proper equate they just expect you to know instead of teaching someone new they talked trash about him after he left and thats not the way a range should be ran this was In excusable and feel bad for the young man involved to be treated this way by a gun range who had nothing posted stating what they expect and then to be that rude to him is unreal edit i would like to make it very clear his gun was unloaded and the man tried to show them the gun was unloaded stay away from this store!!
Morgan Crawford: Couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Very professional staff. John explained the range rules and expectations so there was no confusion, Matt explained some features and benefits of the firearm I was interested in, and Jesse explained what holster would be best suited for how I would want to carry. They earned a customer for life.
Grace Noyes: Not friendly at all and he acted like we were interrupting him while he was eating his bag of chips. Definitely didn't want our business and we won't be coming back.
Thomas Swift: Visited several times over the past few years for a variety of reasons (e.g. range, gunsmith, trade, purchases, etc.). Never had a bad experience.
Jim Lile: They took care of the special work that I had done and it was the price they had quoted, the work was great
Johnny B.: Very nice and clean and professional gun range and staff. I've been here multiple times always a good experience. Lots of different weapons and ammo to choose from and other stuff like gun safes and accessories.
Mark Wells: Knowledgeable and friendly staff and a large selection of firearms and firearm related equipment and accessories.
Muhsin Musa: The service is amazing. These guys answer my questions without any derision. And I'm not the most educated gun person. Bless this store
Tom Downes: Good place. Gunsmithing done very well. Reasonable prices. Good selection of firearms and ammo.
KED 03: First time ever going to an indoor shooting range so it was a little intimidating, but the staff were very welcoming and nice. It makes a huge difference when the staff explains everything thoroughly without acting annoyed of your lack of knowledge. Definitely my go-to place for an indoor range from now on.
Jess Cadle: This place is a joke!! A person with a disability is told to leave the store because I had a mask on.I thought he was joking, he yells in front of the whole store, no masks allowed, and says there’s a sign on the door. No other business has ever discriminated against me like this. There’s plenty of other businesses in town that would take my money!! Btw, I had to give one star to make a review, you deserve none. This place doesn’t deserve anyone business. If you’re elderly or disabled they discriminate against you protecting yourself w/a mask. The way we were treated was DISGUSTING!!!
ryan dessert: Gun transfers are 40 dollars each other places are 20
Todd Ingham: Great place.
Andy Clark: I have been here several times and the staff is friendly and seem helpful. I would not recommend using their gunsmith services though. I brought in an M-1 that I wanted to have checked out to make sure it was safe to fire. After a few weeks I was told that it was a "wall hanger and not safe to fire". I am not sure anyone actually checked it out. The gunsmith had been out sick. I paid $60 dollars for nothing. I took it to another gunsmith and he was able to check the specs and said it was in great condition with no head space problem. He took it apart checked it and cleaned it for $35. Like I said not a bad place to buy stuff just wouldn't recommend having your gun worked on there.
AMAC: Under federal law, individuals can lawfully obtain a long gun from a seller or transferor in another state, provided that: Both parties meet in person to conduct the sale or transfer. The sale or transfer is conducted by, or through, a licensed dealer, pursuant to a background check and other requirements.Refusal of service to an Army Veteran because I live in Iowa. Went to purchase the Springfield M1A with a clean background. Didn't even get that far. The store refuses services to but a few out of state residents. So to hell with federal law they only want to service certain states.Response: This store can not keep up with laws so they do not want to do the work to sell a firearm even being a FFL. But are willing to ship to those states even though they don't want to lookup/ keep up with those laws. Anyone else see the hypocrisy in that statement. We will ship to your state but deny you service of taking the long gun in store even though shipping to your state requires us to make sure the laws are good for your state. Shipping FFL to FFL out of state still makes you be compliant with those states laws. Am I wrong in this thinking?

The Sound of Freedom USA: what do users think?
Jimmy Nguyen: strict rules 🤝
Francis Braun: We came to this place as tourists from Germany on our roadtrip. We wanted to learn the basics about handguns. They all were very friendly and kind. They organized a trainer and a lane on the range for us in 20 minutes. Mike, our trainer told us how to set up our choosen gun and teached us the security basics. Then he went to the range with us to shoot a bit and guided us through our first few rounds. As he thought, we come along without him, he let us shoot a few rounds alone. We had to choose a caliber, but were able to change to another gun in the same caliber any time.It was a great experience for us. We payed about 100$ including the guidance of our trainer for about 1 hour, which felt more than okay for us.Only thing, we would do in additional next time is to call a day before our arrival, to give them the chance to organize things. Thanks to the whole team!
Chris Gibson: Great indoor range! Over the holidays, I’ve been there twice a week for a few weeks. I like to go early and have always gotten a lane.
Sarah Fotopulos: Much better experience with new owners! They seem to care about their customers now.
Steve: This place is awesome. They have shells when it's hard to find shells you can go in and try multiple different guns if you're thinking about purchasing one. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend to anyone.
Robbie Rudder: Decent indoor range. Here’s some things to be aware of:1) You can’t carry an unholstered or an uncased gun on in. If you didn’t bring a case you’ll have to buy a sock or a case from them to carry from your vehicle to the range. Chamber locks and chamber flags are not sufficient.2) You’re not allowed to shoot steel cased ammo. Also, if you’re shooting 5.56, don’t come with preloaded magazines. They want to check for green tip and tracers which aren’t authorized.3) Target backing in the lanes needs to be replaced more frequently. I’m sure you could ask to have it replaced if you’re having a hard time stapling your targets.4) You are not allowed to shoot from the a draw. In my opinion, ranges like this are for familiarization only and not for self defense style training. I would recommend a dynamic outdoor range that allows you to practice draw-to-first-shot. With the price of ammo you don’t get much bang for your buck on these static lanes.Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. They also have a good selection of ammo too. Prices aren’t bad either. Just be aware of the stuff above before you show up. Lastly, I highly encourage double ear protections at indoor ranges. You can use foam inserts and over-the-ear ear muffs to effectively prevent hearing loss.
Joel Haskin: I wouldn't hear from my wife for her first time shooting and our experience was great. I haven't shot too much myself, and we wanted to get a feel for some hand guns before we plan on buying one. One fella helped show us some options of things they had on sale. He was very informative. Vince got us ready for the range and was a champ. He spent the time to help my wife get over her nerves and go over the basics. The beginner course they offer seems like a great next step.
mattaton: I took my son in on a Saturday. He was looking to purchase his first handgun. Vince greeted us when we walked in and proceeded to spend the next couple of hours making sure that my son felt comfortable and understood his options. He helped us find the unit that fit my son and his needs the best. Vince was knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know in detail. I am extremely happy we decided to go to Sounds of Freedom. Vince made it a very memorable experience. Thanks for all the help.
Jenny Fischer: Very pleased with the treatment my family received today. Employees were pleasant and helpful. A nice change from the guys they used to have working there.
Dave Jones: Used to enjoy this place. Attempted to use a $130.00 gift card I received before experiencing several medical problems and procedures. When I finally had an opportunity to return to SOF I was informed that the new owner decided not to accept the older gift cards. Thank you SOF, I'll take my money elsewhere.
Argenti Dorian: I went to this store yesterday with my wife, as we entered the man from the shooting he served us very nicely.
Don George: Went to this range this A.M. we were the only people at the range when we arrived. Customer service was so so. Bad experience with only 1 other shooter stationed next to us. Otherwise range was empty. Will not go back.
Ken Evers: I bought a rifle here and the assistance from the staff was absolutely terrific. Even though they were busy at the time, the sales guy never rushed me and answered all my questions...very helpful. I hate being pushed or rushed when I'm making an expensive purchase, and I never once got that vibe. Definitely recommend this place!
Christopher Stuard: Nice shop and staff.
josh velier: they did not accept a gift card I had received less then a year ago. worth 600.00
Dave Dooling: I have done business with these folks for many years since they opened. Always found them to be professional and helpful. With the recent switch in owners, the services and products now being offered are absolutely amazing. Very friendly folks always willing to assist. The store is filled with awesome stuff for your favorite gun nerd(s). Kids and women will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I refreshed my CCW training with Don Motley and he is an awesome instructor and the vendors he brings in were a stroke of genius. Keep up the great work!!!
Amber Burnett: My Dad and I took the conceal carry class with Don Motley and it was a lot better than I expected. We were given so much knowledge and encouraged to ask whatever questions we wanted. It was fun and informative and an all around great experience. I truly feel like a safer firearms owner now. Thank you Sound of Freedom USA!
Kota bear: Don is an amazing instructor and I don’t like gun.!
Cobblestone Veterinary Hospital: Don Motley does a great job. Couldn't ask for better instruction.
Cheryl Williams: Don is the best instructor you could ever have to get your CCW license.. the rest of the guys in there are awesome too keep up the good work guys
cj gaut: Great place !!! Would definitely recommend to friends. Great atmosphere.

Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area Shooting Range: what do users think?
Mr. Feels: Saw many mushrooms!! Very epic trails!!
Amber Garner: Beautiful trails, our go to gun range to go shoot.
Parrish Nale: Nice gun range
ulises matias: Range was kinda busy each time I went, lotsa waiting.
Matt Schmidt: Beautiful!
Paul Williams: I have been to Busiek on and off for quite a few decades and was disappointed to see it is closed.I just got off the phone trying to find out why its closed thinking it might be somehow due to covid. Boy was I wrong!!! I was told by thisawesome officer that it is being repaired and rebuilt. The reason is because the last major storm we had destroyed the bridge, damaged the roadway in and also damaged the berms. They are working on it literally as we speak but our rainy weather has not been very co-operative lately. As soon as they can catch a break they are very close to finishing.
Howard McCoy: This is a great facility that is offered to the public at no charge. The only thing is, I moved here in 2017 and I read an article about the range reopening in 2015 after flooding took out the footbridge. It has washed out three more times since then. It seems to me that they need to pour some concrete pilings and raise it up a couple of feet, even if you have a couple steps up to the bridge. It seems like a costly project to keep re-setting the bridge instead of fixing the problem.
Jim Coffey: Great Free Outdoor gun range
Theman Inredd: Great everyone there was safe and the wait was short
Dakota Spitler: Love the gun range!
Tyler Atkerson: Nice place
Kc Gunner: 👍🏻
Ryan Eddy: It’s busiek what can I say? Great hiking, water is amazing, so clear. Never been to shooting range but maybe soon. Who knows but I ask respect the property. Carter cemetery shows that people a long time ago thought property was amazing also. And still there today. The beauty they saw I’ve seen! Amazing. Great place for hiking and a lot more experiences. And of course absolutely free. If you or family love being outdoors, seeing what the ozark have to show, then busiek should be on list. Thanks
Jay Kay: This was a beautiful place! My husband and I stayed all afternoon. Nature's finest! Clean clear water.
Shanna Belle Borthick-Compton: Love this place. Been coming here since long before I had kids, and now my kids love it as much as I do! It's beautiful, it's serene, it's not a party place, thankfully. It's easy to go take a hike or a nice long walk or set up your chair in a shallow area in the river and chill and let the kids splash!
Justin Jenkins: Great place for a walk.
John Ventshop: Really enjoyed it time out here. Its a shame that so many people can not follow the rules and shoot posts as well as bring out shotguns which are not allowed. It was easy for my wife who is in a power chair to participate as well.
Samantha sargent: A little trashed but still nice trails and fire pits to
Candace Kovacs: Great place to target shoot for free with a 100, 50, and 25 yard range.
Brent Alexander: Nice shooting range and great place to go hiking!
Sparky56: Good outdoor range
