Springfield Skateland: what do users think?
Fortnite Player: It’s not that good of a skating rink
Craig Litt: They'll charge you just to watch your kids. Not a serious business
AshALeE E: PROS: nice place to have a small birthday. Routine schedule. Snack bar. Nice employees. Clean bathrooms. Zumba offered. Hockey team.CONS: they make the parents pay to watch their children skate which becomes costly if you have two or more children. The family membership doesnt save any money. Low income families cant benefit from this. The extra charges for skate mates and upcharges dont make it worth while. I know other places in Springfield mostly do not charge extra for parents. I would recommend the oc or urban air monthly pass compared to a day pass for a family of 4 here.
Ashley Klover: This place looks the same as it did 20 years ago! Great place when it's raining and kids wanna get out to play.
Teresa Krasser: Great family fun for not a lot of money.
Dave Robertson: No better value in town for a family night out. The music was on point. Prices at the snack bar and vending was really reasonable.
Amanda Mitchell: Great place kids have fun and so did I
Amanda: We had our sons 7th birthday party! In room number 1 we had a great time.. only downfall was Saturday night skate was so so packed so pick a different time of day.. oh and the room was so colorful with happy Birthday Everywhere! ❤️🎈
Katherine Boyd: The place is ok, forgot to do a review when we went. They were over booked for party rooms, so I didn't get 1, no room to sit and eat besides that it was frozen pizza they charged us for, tasted like the stuff u buy at Walmart for less than 2$! WAY TO MANY PEOPLE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING ITS WAY TO SMALL!!!!!
Andrew Folta: The rink itself is just fine. It would get more stars if that's all I was considering. That being said, the 'open skate' drives the rating down. It is advertised as 7-9 pm. That would be just about the right amount of time for an evening of skating. But 2 hrs in Skateland time is really about an 1 hr 20 min. What you'll find is that at 7 o'clock you are standing in a line outside waiting for them to open the doors. At 7 they open the doors and start moving people through the line. Into the next line.... the skate pickup line. By the time that happens it is 7:20. Time to skate....For about 20 min, and then they tell you to stop. It's time to do a birthday celebration for a couple kids you don't know. They have rented one of the rooms for a private birthday. But here I am realizing it's really not that private. Don't get me wrong it was awesome to see those kids super happy but c'mon. They paid for the room, the other 90% of people there paid to skate. Ok, that's done, back to skating.....Before you know it the time is now 8:30 and they announce that after this song it's 'adult' skate and kids have to leave the rink. A couple songs later it is 8:40 the adults are told to leave the rink and everybody needs to turn in their skates. Because as the DJ excitedly says "IT'S TIME FOR THE SOCK HOP"... What that means is go on the rink barefoot and do the Macarena so we don't have to work late.So now you can see where the math doesn't add up. For the price it's fine, whatever, it's cheap. But just don't expect to get to skate for a couple hours on a Saturday night.
Lydia Mccrite: Let's kids go in by them selves which completely fine with then on Friday doesn't let kids in by them selves and have to have adults with them
Shawn Seigrist: Good skating experience, prices are fair. The staff are friendly and there are a lot of activities you can do here.
Ryan Hastings: Went there for a birthday party and because my son wasn't on the list I had to pay to get him in. They put us in a room that was maybe 8x12 with odd angles for a group of 20. The tables were pushed against the wall to allow for people to get pizza. Standing room only and some guests had to view from the door.
C. L.: Example from our event. They charge $7 at the door so we charged $9 for presale tickets and $12 for admission at the door. ( To make a profit because I am a business owner as well) After the event had finished Gary told me he was owed every dime made from tickets from our event. This is my first time speaking to him outside of one personal message to my personal Facebook page 24 hours before the event. We have been planning this event since the beggining of December with one of his employees. The terms we were given were not honored. I was able to keep a portion of what was owed to me.A very disappointing end to what could have been a great business relationship.
Champale Salter: F.Y.I BEFORE YOU BOOK A PRIVATE EVENT(Because you may not talk to Gary Fudge before booking and the terms can change!!)There is not a physical contract, ONLY talk to Gary Fudge the manager. He will not honor what his employees have said or the website terms.(screenrecording included)The owners wife will speak over a mic during your event for you and she has Zero concern for the way you want it done or what you want to be said she has even less professionalism. You may not change this, “sHeS ThE wIfe oF tHe oWnEr” You may not hire a DJ, but you can use their DJ as the website says “personal dj”. The DJ will be pulled away from the DJ station by “tHe WiFe” during your 2 hour booking. You may not book a party with the intention to make a profit, unless you are a non-profit. You can only increase the ticket price. And he will keep the increase.“Only non profits organization may make a profit of $1 per skater”- Gary Fudge (Even if you increase the price). Only one dollar can be donated per skater the rest belongs to him. His words. In the event you do not know these terms and attempt to donate the funds to a charity of your choice he will say next time.Example from our event. They charge $7 at the door but we charged $9 for presale tickets and $12 for admission at the door. After the event had finished Gary told me he was owed every dime made from tickets from our event. This is my first time speaking to outside of one personal message to my personal Facebook page 24 hours before the event. We have been planning this event since the beggining of December with one of his employees.I was told Gary Fudge has been there since the 90s and hosting parties. Am I the only person who has had this experience without clear terms and conditions?Gary “let me keep” a portion of money OWED to me from our event. Only after going over the numbers and original agreement for 30minutes.A very disappointed end to what could have been a great business relationship.Gary Fudge you just lost one.-Champale Salter owner of Springfield Braiding Company
Alfonso Gonzalez: Excelente lugar para la familia
AraSB95: If you want to host an event at Springfield Skateland. Be sure to have a written agreement/contract, no matter what you are told. Be clear on what the price is and how much your entire party should be paying in the end. Skateland was unethical, and unprofessional. Also be clear on what you would like your overall party atmosphere to be like. Our party was continuously interrupted by a member of skateland and it somewhat ruined our event. We were highly disappointed in the dishonesty, and attempt to not honor what our party was told was the skateland fee. We will not be returning unfortunately not for an event or individually speaking.
David Hollis: Music was live and the events exciting
B S: Best Zumba instructors around!
Daniel M: Super fun, people are very nice and a great skating environment.
Rochelle Strickland: A great place to party! Had our daughter's birthday party here, and she and her cousins had a fun time. We had our own room which fit 12 people just fine, our party manager was wonderful and helpful. They weren't overly busy and the kids really enjoyed the socks only dance at the end.

Jordan Valley Ice Park: what do users think?
Peggy Messer Jones: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry FreeMore
Marie MacLeod: Great option for field trips! Took 90+ fifth grade students for an afternoon of skating and a tour. Teachers and students both had a blast!
Matthew Urban: Really worth the drive and my kids are learning from me. Chloe should be ready to solo next time going to buy them inline skates to make sure....
Robert Bell: Nice facility
Kenny Moore: Great time there
Larry Sullivant: Was alot of fun was my first time experiencing a ice rink. I'm glad the rental skate process was very simple and I enjoy the music they played I recommend bringing the kids to check this place out.
Laura Kaufman: Wonderful ice skating facility. Well laid out. Seated viewing available. Ice hockey practices were fun to watch. Skating events have a concession area with eating area. Bathrooms are clean.
Gail Kleemann: I went to the SPD/SFD hockey game tonight. I ordered a pretzel and cheese. The pretzel was wrapped in foil so I didn't know it was unsalted until I got to my seat. I figured I would be OK with it since it had cheese but the cheese was rancid. The entire venue was dirty and falling apart
Randy Potts: Go BEARS
Brandon Decker: I found the tutor Autumn Preston to be dishonest regarding cancellation policies. However, the front desk clerk was very helpful, and the ice skating space is nice.A second child was scheduled to join the 30-min tutoring session with my son but canceled last minute. However, Autumn’s time on the ice didn’t change because the one child was still present. Autumn reported that the cancellation policy was set by the Ice Park, but the Ice Park manager reported that it was set by the tutors. Autumn refused to alter the handwritten bill.I understand how a full cancellation would require payment. However, this had no effect on the amount of time Autumn worked. I called that dishonest, disrespectful, and greedy.I will look for another tutor for my son.
Irina Coombes: I love hockey games!! We have been here several times as a family to watch games. Also have come for ice skating with the kids. Great indoor activity for the family!
Amy Dent: Friendly staff. Good facility.
GT Denis: It was a fun place
a u s t i n k a d e: This is one place that fixes cold hearts ya they may say that cold can’t fix cold but yo here ya go.
Bentley Toledo: The ice was good I had a lot 😂
Alberto Alonzo: Hockey,,Hockey
Charley Barnes: I am grateful for the friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff. They made my day with the kids a blast. Skate rental and concessions available.
Kevin White: Great family venue.
Shark Linn Media: Awesome place! Very friendly staff
Jessica Rost: Great
Travis Lee: Horrible skates, super dull. You can't just walk in and skate or play hockey. They seem to always not be open even though the ice is empty due to some party or it just not being "open skate hours". It should always be open skate and then you block off times for parties but this might be to confusing for them, since the staff are usually not at the desk either. Don't hardly answer the phones and when they do they say whatever they can to get off the phone, which usually starts with "yeah we're not open" I've tried to skate here 100's of times and only been able to get in once, three years ago. Worst 30 minutes I've ever paid for! Your definitely not gonna get any hockey time in either!
