Austin Adamson: Super cool and chill place. Good beer, great vibes, friendly service, and super pet friendly.
Bruce K.: Not ready for dinner but ready for a beer or two, I stopped at 4 by 4 and found a spot in the second room where I could plug in, sip my beers and write up some Yelp reviews on a Saturday evening. There's a definite "family" vibe here with kids running about and some outdoors games going on including cornhole.Beer was delicious and I enjoyed my late afternoon break here.
Kayla Collins: Great vibe! Great place!
Becki Petersen: I love 4X4. Great beer and great people!
Nick Lyon: Shea J, Sam, Ashley, made my experience magical! I brought friends for a 21 birthday celebration, and they made the night so much fun. They know their product, and were able to match me with my now new favorite beer. If you ask me.. everyone has to go to Here! Also ask for my favs to ensure for a a great night with the friends.
Alyssa Pleasant: Super nice brewery tucked away in Galloway. They have live music, board games, they’re pet friendly and very kid friendly! Only downside is that they don’t serve food, but you can have it delivered. They offer a wide variety of drinks and have flights that you can customize to your taste. Alcoholic slushies are available as well as Non-Alcoholic drinks! The Tropic Shudder is a great sour beer to try even if you don’t like beers. Great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
Eric Weiskopf: Nice selection of beers to enjoy.
jason congdon: Awesome beer and atmosphere
Kaci P: Awesome brewery with a homey atmosphere and a wide variety of beer to choose from! Toates M’ Goats and the Scottish Ale were our faves! Very clean place and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back again!

Joshua Garrett: Best locale in town. Careful with Smooth Criminal.
Karen Fackler: Easily one of our top favorite places to come hang out and socialize. 4 by 4 has some of the best beers in town and are always adding new ones! They have a ton of games available you can play and serve the best free popcorn! Dogs are welcome and also love joining us on the patio section. They also host a bunch of events if you follow them on facebook you can keep up with all their adventures and news. I would high recommend stopping in if you have never been! Additionally you can get alot of their draft beers canned and take them to go! Happy Sippin!

Banter Brewing Co: what do users think?
T Ellis: We had a great time here. Good brews, friendly service. Will definitely go back!
Robert Mackenzie: Outstanding. Love the IPA’s.
Kyle Whittaker: Great selection, unique & tasty beers, and nice people. Hard to beat that!
barrnie cooper: Wow, what a great place with a friendly atmosphere. Bar tender was awesome explaining the beers. The local crowd was welcoming.
Zach Cox: It is good great service good drinks
Brian Inman: Always a great choice to enjoy a huge selection of craft beers served by a great team of professionals. Located on the southside of town just off Plainview and 160 and close to my house which make it handy.
Kat S: Small local brewery with a great selection of beer and a friendly staff.
Jenny Jensen: Great beer, laid back fun place!
Levi Gregg: By far the best craft brew in town!
J Finke: Great beer and outstanding service.
Sid Whiting: Banter is excellent for several reasons:1) They make a tasty variety of beers. Everything from a light, crispy, clean, and clovey German hefeweizen to a dark, sweet, boozy aged stout. They have a sour too that I enjoy, and I'm not normally a sour guy. But they have a coconut / pineapple one that is refreshing and just a tad tangy.2) Their flagship beer Iron Gospel IPA is one of the best Hazy IPAs I've ever had. Fruity on the nose, but not overpoweringly sweet.3) Their Triptych series, which is a base beer and two variants based off it, is always delightful to experiment with.4) It has a bar you can belly up to with great bartenders who will chat about almost any topic you can think up. Hence, the "banter" that's part of the name.5) There's a crew of regulars (I think I qualify), but everyone is welcome to join in any time!6) They have a spacious side-room for live music and events, which means you can either go rock out there on the comfy furniture, or you can stay in the main bar area and you don't have to shout to make yourself heard.7) While there isn't always a food truck, there's a great pizza place just around the corner (Marco's). Food + beer is always great! If you haven't been to Banter yet, it's worth your time to enjoy several pints and the conversation! Say hi to Brian, John, Al, and Bud.
Beer Whisperer: Great Beer, Great staff, and playlists you won't hear anywhere else!
Kirk Coleman: I cannot say enough great things about Banter. The owners and crew are great people and serve up some great brews. I have been a regular at Banter the last year and I love that I can get something new so frequently. A lot of love and hard work goes into their beer and it shows. There is a lot of opportunity for y'all to keep growing and sharing your passion for beer with Springfield!
Heather Bennett: Awesome place with amazing people
Skatio Oost: Wasn't sure what to think when we arrived, but this place, oh my God, the beer is excellent. The guy running this place should get an award for personal service too. Go here, seriously.
Michael Wondel: Nice people and good beer.
William Scruggs: Nice neighborhood spot. Good beer. Indoor patio is a pretty sweet set up.
Victoria Wiedel: Unexpected find on the southern side of Springfield! We were impressed by the range of beers available, from IPAs including hazy's to traditional German style bock and hefewiezen, to a sour and a hard seltzer. Basically, they have something for everyone. Bonus: it's a super friendly spot with live music some nights.
Jordan Wentz: Amazing beer. Love the sour so much. Great chill vibes in this place. Awesome music. Will def be back (;
paul miller: Quaint location, nice staff. Fun have room
nikki collins (Tink): Stoped in yesterday on the tap and pour tour, this is the best brewery we’ve experienced by far. Every beer we tried was delicious, especially the IPA!! We will definitely be back

Mikey Kay (Fire & Smoke BBQ): We stoped here on our way throw town and used harvest host to stay at the brewery. They have tons of room for you to pull in very large trailers. The ground is a little unlevel, but the beer is great so that helps. They have a beautiful patio great tap room and lots of good beers to choose from.

Tie & Timber Beer Co.: what do users think?
Ryan Reed: Don't bring your kids here. This places hates kids
Phil Bridges: T&T is among my favorite beer in town and fine for adults, but each time I have been with my own children or others with children (about four times now), the staff is just aggressively anti-children. I get that not everyone has or enjoys kids, but each time the outdoor staff has been rude and unreasonable. If your child does anything beyond staring at a screen while there, you will be watched, rudely talked to (kids and parents), regardless of their actions or proximity to others. Less than enjoyable and in stark contrast to a few other breweries in the same general part of town.
Lonnie Smith Sr: A very interesting place at first... Having my service dog with me it was very dog friendly. Max (my Service Dog) got a bisket and I got a beer. I like a dark beer, and they always have a good one. Max and I will be back.
Caitlyn Cardoza: Love this spot sooo much!! Definitely will be going there again.
Juchan Lee: I like place!! and beer 🍺
R Turer: Been there several times. But not for awhile. They have added booths which makes sitting inside more appealing (especially on 94 degree MO days). People great. Outdoors and indoors a combined 4. Beers 4 ish. But one of our favorites in SGF. And love the neighborhood and surrounding places... Team, The Royal, Skullys.Still think one of best PLACES. Beers 4-ish but best in town, I think.
Avalon Chapman: I was in the area for the night and I’m from Wisconsin and I had a digital copy of my id and this bartender wouldn’t take it I went back to the hotel and printed it out and came back and showed him. He refused service from us and proceeded to yell at us and me and my husband. We left.
David Bern: Great beer n patio.
Jacob Baldwin: Tie & Timber is a fantastic local brewery. Great selections and great atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to try something new!
Joshua Garrett: Juicy is probably Springfield's best beer.
Stephen McNally: I really enjoyed Tie & Timber Beer Co. a great relaxed atmosphere and a variety of beers to chose from. The area is cool to walk around with several restaurants.
Joshua Jones: The best beer in Springfield.
Kory: I personally tend to stay away from businesses that get hyper political. All the more so when they lay their support for a question on the ballot this November that would clearly hurt Springfield and only profits few.
Shane Procter: Great beer, nice location. Good food in walking distance.is good. Is very good.
Kirubell Asmamaw: Very disappointed to have the total opposite experience of all these 5 star reviews. Bartenders (young girl and big dude) were extremely irritated and non accommodating. Everyone has bad days but some professionalism would’ve been nice. Hope they feel better, seems like it would’ve been a great spot otherwise
Chris Class: Curtis Marshall the CEO of Tie & Timber supports voting yes on question 1 this November. Doing so would destroy the appeal of The best park on the south side of Springfield,MO.Does Curtis actually care about this city or is he just another money hungry man that profits off of predatory loans…I suggest you Google him and don’t spend any money here.
Rebecca Tandy: Absolutely love this place.
Aleia Arcibal: The best brewery in Missouri. Genuine, educated, and friendly staff. Offers crowlers to go in case you fall in love with a beer and you decide to take some home. The atmosphere is A++. I love that they play different music in the bathrooms than in the tap room/beer garden it makes the ambiance that much more exciting. Don't get me started on the beer garden, it's the best spot in town to grab a drink on a patio. You can bring your pup too! The merch is super fun and modern. They also have cocktails, if you're more of a one beer than full type of person like myself, and mocktails. Overall, this place is amazing and a great spot in the neighborhood.
Timothy Briant: very good place
Sid Whiting: Excellent selection of beers for all pallets. Nice outdoor seating/beer garden. Pizza and taco restaurant across the street. Bring kids and pets...plenty of room.
Levi Jackson: A great place to hang out with friends. The beer is amazing, the outdoor seating area is beautiful.
